    I'm guessing this happened due to moisture.
    The nail lifted and as she washed her hands water got trapped under the nail. Then whwn she put the glue on, it locked it some of the water, which caused moisture, and the perfect Environment for bacteria to grow.

    I had this when I was a teen, doing beauty pageants. We had to remove my acrylics, and I soaked my natural nails in peroxide. I let my nail beds dry out and grow out before I put acrylics back on. It was an awful experience.

      Peroxide kills healthy skin cells, it's almost never ideal. All you need is 91% alcohol for this and air. Can't live in air and alcohol.

    Ladies and gentlemen this is not actually from nail glue, this is actually due to a nail fungus or just trapped moisture it's not her fault but the nail kept coming off which she should have done is coming in for a follow-up appointment and just redid her now or let the nail fall off naturally and properly put it back on I have been using press on nails for 15 years and I've never experienced this so what probably end up happening was she probably had a tear in her actual nail bed itself and due to the chopped moisture from the nail glue that had covered up that spot it was not able to

    Its crazy because it can also happen without nail extensions it can happen with just the natural nail all it takes is for the skin under than nail to be exposed and water or other objects can get stuck under there causing extra germs and anything else to go in there and cause the infection.

    • @unboundbytiffany
      @unboundbytiffany Před 4 měsíci +2

      That's way bigger a deal if it's happening underneath your natural nail, that's not as easily resolved and could become a big deal I'd think. This under an enhancement isn't really a huge deal unless it's left for months etc.

    Tw kinda graphic
    I got this under my natural nail before because my nail bed got infected which caused the whole nail to lift off the flesh, leaving space for moisture and bacteria to grow underneath the nail itself.
    I went to see my doctor and apparently it was not fungus but bacteria. I don't remember whether or not I actually lost the nail but now everything is back to normal.
    Learnt my lesson though: don't bite the skin around your nails and if you have a mild infection, treat it in the early stages.

    People have to understand gluing on your nails again is supposed to be for the one night that you go out and you still want your nails to look good it’s not a long-term thing they’re meant to be so you can glue it back on have a little girly moment take some photos, look cute and then when you get home at night, pop them off along with that lace front and if you’re going to use nail glue that means you can’t be washing dishes with your hands you can’t be letting moisture get under those nails and if you do your maximum amount of time you can even wear them after that or about 2 to 3 days you literally got to take them off as quick as possibleI never have this problem and I glue my nails down all the time but it’s because I’m not sitting there allowing my nails to stay on for weeks that’s insane.

    FUNGUS TREATMENT I did on my Toenails/foot VERY IMPORTANT: I cut, trimmed, filed (top & around nails), and cleaned my toenails thoroughly. Then, pour 3% PEROXIDE into a bowl enough to cover toes. I soak the feet as well if there are bacteria around them. I left it for 15-25 min and did this 2-3x/week for 3 weeks, then down to 1/week. Mine was treated in 3 weeks. To NEUTRALIZE the Peroxide, have a bowl of vinegar and dip your toes/feet quickly. My toenails are now back to normal. Do not apply nail polish or anything during the treatment. If it's severe, you may have to treat it longer. Depending on the fungus severity, I reused the peroxide for 3 weeks, discarded it, then poured a fresh one. You will know when your toenails are treated. My maintenance routine consists of this treatment every 4-6 weeks when I remove my pedicures. I did not do pedicures during the first two to three weeks of the fungus cure. I used to take pills given by a podiatrist, which is unwise because it affects the rest of my body when I only want to treat a particular area. Peroxide soak is much more effective than pills that did nothing for me.

      @Narcoleptinsomniac Před měsícem

      Sounds more like contact dermatitis…
      and skin is supposed to grow under your nail. Most people push it back / scrape it from under too far when cleaning them or doing their nails. Look up the long nail girlies and you’ll come across someone who you can see the skin underneath the nail attached a fraction more than what everyone is used to seeing.
      Also, see a doctor/dermatologist if it is a fungus/bacteria so they can give you the correct antibiotic/cream… otherwise you could be creating your own superbug that’s resistant, and that’s when things get nasty.
      And really expensive depending where you live.

      White vinegar, a few drops twice a day. I did this on my doctor's advice a few years ago and it cleared right up in about a week. Maybe a bit less, it's been awhile.

      I'm a manicurist of 25 yrs...get you a gel bleach pen. Everytime you get out of the shower , dry off and apply the bleach ( with no nail polish). Works like a champ!

  • @sophiarheinhermosa1953

    I use nail glue or shoe and that never happen all though it does leave glue on the nail but it works fine for me

      Unless it tore off from trauma and the person just glued it back on like that (..doubt) …it looks like the nail tech trashed and damaged that persons nail when removing it. Can see the natural nail layers on the acrylic 😭 I’d die. Bacteria/Fungus or not… it should have been soaked off for way way longer and more carefully.
