Game 3 is crucial, particularly on the queen side. This is where a ton of your jobava games will end up if there's no pawn storm or knight b5 shenanigans, and opponent doesn't trade his dark square bishop for your queen side knight.

Alex- regarding game 1- I was playing a JBL and someone tried the Qb6 move on me and because of you I toasted him with the a3, letting him take, then Na4- It was a dream - thanks, man. Thanks for the new video.

The queen trap in the first game you can also get in the caro mirrored for black when white goes nuts with the queen. You play a6 and if they take on b7 you play Na5 and the queen has no moves, sometimes they can sac a bishop to evac the queen but then you won a bishop for a pawn and that's good enough

Just crossed 750. Got a checkmate with the pawns on the pawn push. Awesome game and only time I’ve ever gotten a cm on G6 g7 after h7
I must admit I still struggle with this Slav early Qb6 after Bishop f5.. a3 no longer works, defending with Rook b1 prevents me from long castle, and I often already initiated a pawn storm. Ive never seen this line on your programme. Thanks for your videos btw, Ive learned a lot
The secret sauce in game 1 looked sweet but turned out sour for the opponent. I hope I get to use that soon

I have been watching you videos and loving them. I especially enjoy the Jobava London ones. I have been mainly playing this opening but I always stumble in the same area. The pawns in the middle (D and E) I always stuggle knowing when to go for a break or accept and exchange or push past another one, etc. I always seem to make a mistake there. Could you explain that in detail in a later video? If you have already, which video would that be?
re 16:00 "step on the gas" , what about the horse on C3 taking the black pawn on D5 instead of the white pawn doing it... similar unfold but more forced. & the black pawn remains on b4, a better umbrella at a distance than up close perhaps?

Just wondering , why play Knight first? Seems if play Bishop to F4 first then the opponent does not necessarily think Jobava, and brings out their Knight to C6 more often...

i also play knight take black bishop in all variations, i miss that it should be only when there is pawn strom.. Alex when your jobaba london course will be available? I am waiting for this.. ( btw thanks to you i got to 1600, not going to lie with fried liver on under 1000 and evans gambit with 1000+ i was pretty much stuck with Italian opening, then you made me play the jobaba london now every thing is changed 😂) ❤❤

I've played against 1200s that are better than these players. It's very strange seeing games like this because I have no clue how they are that rating

what do you do on bb4 in the opening pinning your knight? I have taken with the pawn but then they play ne4
My last two opponents resigned after I played 2. Nc3. At least you get to have the fun in showing off the Jobava.
2.Nc2 is an illegal move lol
The knight would require at least 2 moves to get to c2 (via a3 - c2) so the earliest you can legally play the move Nc2 in a game would be 3.Nc2

I don't geet this "Queen trap" in 1:45... why black Queen cannot just retreat to B4, after this Knight attack?
b4 is covered by a3 pawn. knight covers b2, b6, and c3. light squared bishop covers b5. c2 pawn covers b3. the queen is smoked.

Why has Alex Banzea got only 91k subscribers compared to Levy Rosman at Gotham Chess with 4 million or so? I don't understand. I get it, Levi is fun to watch and very knowledgeable but so is this guy. Listen to me now Alex, you can be as big as Levi. All you need to do is post more videos. Levi posts a new one at least a couple of times a week. That's all you need to do to catch up. You're just as knowledgeable and just as entertaining. Take my advice and you will be as big as, if not bigger than, Gotham Chess.
I was a little bit drunk when I wrote this so forgive me for babbling. I still think my comment is essentially true though maybe it's not quite so easy to make up the 4 million difference in subscribers. Worth a try though.

Alex is the best "teacher" in my opinion, i dont watch Gotham to learn anymore most his vids now are more chess entertainment, game recaps, news, i love him but his channel is the Walmart of chess content. Alex kinda just teaches and maybe its his style too, but i actually learn stuff on this channe and have improved from his vids
