Russian roads aren't the worst. Russian DRIVERS on the other hand, definitely ARE.
These roads look far superior to the roads we have in Columbus, Ohio. They look far smoother and less congested than US roads.

Driving too fast for the conditions, not checking mirrors, driving whilst drunk, high or asleep, I feel sorry for the innocent victims. Also, road marking in the cities is absolutely pants !

Considering the severe winters there, the roads are in pretty good condition. Reason being I don't believe they salt or gravel them for the ice & snow. That in itself makes a big difference.
I've only see plow trucks with no salt or gravel ones following behind. It's the DRIVERS that are bad, not the roads. Russians just do not know HOW to SLOW DOWN and road conditions.
CZcamsrs must be paying some premium money for these videos, it's the only explanation for why Russians drive like this. "Wait, how much are they paying for car crash videos?" (turns into oncoming traffic).

What's up with those weird Star Wars background noises at 1:51? In any case, I grew up in Winnipeg, a city famous for it's crappy roads and huge crater pot holes and I can tell you, it ain't the roads, it's the drivers. By and large you don't see people in Winnipeg turning left from the right lane and turning right from the left lane and so on. It must be a cultural thing, apparently in Russia there is a complete absence of concern for personal safety and the safety of others which explains a lot of what you see in these videos. Bottom line is, you can't blame it on the roads, it's the nut behind the wheel.

When you start a trip in a car in Russia there's only one starting point and one end point .. Your trip shouldn't have any stop in between or any slowdown .. It's an Uninterrupted marching stampede .. Stopping happens only in one case : COLLISION ..

Having watched quite a few videos I was thinking of hiring an ARMY TANK but then again I don’t think I would be safe, so my odds of survival is best not to go there!!
The roads look pretty damned good to me. It looks like a lot of people have dashcams, what country doesn't have way too many road accidents? Russia is probably no worse than anywhere, but they do have problems with alcohol, perhaps more than other countries. There are plenty of American crashes, not so many webcams yet. Russia looks to be doing well financially, beautiful country.
Sometimes I wonder if they get a free dashcam for buying a vehicle or getting insurance lol
@@darkstorminc Installation of a dash camera is a requirement to get auto insurance in some countries. Not a bad idea, makes determination of fault almost lawyerless. If the cops have to wear cameras, why not motor vehicles? The manufacturers could install them for a few dollars per vehicle. Add GPS, and you could eliminate a lot of high speed chases, and racer wannabees. With self-driving cars being tested, I'm surprised they aren't already tracking vehicles.

The life expectancy for Russian men continue to drop by year what now 51 of age hey not all Russian drives like a bat out of a Vodka bottle those the ones that quit .

1. Why aren't Russians required to wear prescription glasses?
2. Why do Russian cars, vans, and trucks roll over so easily?
3. Why do your vehicles lose their wheels when all lugnuts should be present and tight?
4. Why do you make left-hand turns from the right-hand lane?
5. Why do you lack perception of other vehicles at a full stop in front of you?
6. Why do you run into as-big-as-life busses, trolleys, and truckers?
7. Why do motorcyclists run into cars?
8. Why do Russians drive like maniacs?
9. Why do Russians appear to not take life seriously -- their life and the lives of others?
10. Why are headlights and taillights not required at twilight and low light conditions?
11. Why are Russian vehicles not required to pass strict crash safety standards?
12. Why are Russians so glib about the risks they take when driving any vehicle?
