      Sure thing. These days they use Russian rockets to get there. There must have been quite a few accidents up there already but of course you never hear of that.

      This is the first time I watch Russian car accidents.
      Just from this compilation, I think you are absolutely right in your assumption.
      These drivers scare the crap out of me. They are insane.
      Zero visibility in fog and snow, let's speed up to above highway speed.
      I am so thankful I stay in a place where it has never snowed and where it will never snow.

      It doesn’t matter what city/county/state/country you live in ....there are just dumb people who can’t drive. I live in New Mexico and the second there is any kind of rain these people seem to believe that they can drive like Mario Andretti instead of slowing down ....I’m from Louisiana where we have more rain (and some of its pretty heavy rain showers ). And when we have crashes it’s usually from damn Yankees lol or people not from the area

    If I drove in Russia I would want a dash cam both front and back and big rubber bumpers on all sides of the vehicles plus the vehicle would have a roll cage and I would wear a crash helmet

      Скорее всего нет. Тот звук что звучит после столкновения с прицепом это не крик а звук трения шин (как при заносе). Также стоит напомнить что прицепы далеко не самые прочные вещи. Так что успокаиваю-скорее всего водитель обошёлся царапинами.

( as spam) Here and understand-they are going to put a new sign there (tomorrow) or add a little roadside... or they dug up 2 lanes on the bridge like here... But in any case, the speed should be chosen based on the fact that the braking distance is less than the visibility limit.

Car insurance in Russia costs about 120$ for your responsibility in case of accident and 400-500$ costs full insurance, that allows you to repair your car even if fault is yours. This is a price for a not expensive car like my Ford Focus (2013) for a whole year.

      2. Old cars? They built a car typ for long long years! Example, Lada 2107, was built until 2012, Samara was built form 1984 to 2013. South Korean typ"s were also built in Ukraine and Uzbegistan, till 2010. These cars were cheap, and for Russian driving culture, we see, it"s good! :)

      Странный совет про велосипед. Что с вами случится на велосипеде когда в вас въедет пьяный водитель на старом автомобиле на большой скорости в плохую погоду поворачивая не глядя? И если у вас на велосипеде будет видеорегистратор, вам это не поможет. Продолжайте делать наблюдения, у вас это хорошо получается, только не делайте выводы и не давайте советы. Без обид.

      I've noticed that in many crash videos in many countries. In one, some dope slid into the intersection, a cement truck swerved to miss him, and rolled over onto a small Chevy, crushing whomever was inside. And the idiot that caused it all gets off Scot free.

    Red is green
    Left lane is right lane, and right lane is your passing lane
    U turn at anytime, anywhere is short cut and cool.....
    Drive faster if you can't see anything in front ...
    Speed up on ice, snow and rain...
    T-bone and Head on collisions are bagde of honor.

      Есть несколько причин такой езды русских:
      - ущемленные в гражданских свободах, они испокон веку считают власть своим врагом, которого нужно все время обманывать и по возможности нарушать любые правила - переходить на красный свет, бросать мусор на дорогу, перелезать через заграждения, ну и конечно же (это святое) всячески нарушать на дороге. Отсюда и езда по обочине, и разворот через две сплошные, и скорость на пределе или за ним. Сюда же можно отнести и то, что в росии множество разных "государственных людей", у которых есть всевозможные удостоверения, которые позволяют избегать штрафов на дороге - следователи, прокуроры, судьи, полиция, спецслужбы, чиновники определенных рангов. Эти вообще могут ездить пьяными, нарушать правила и им за это ничего не будет. "Государев человек" может кого-то сбить на дороге и при этом избежать ответственности, даже если пострадавший погиб. Русские попроще ненавидят "государевых людей", но хотели бы тоже иметь такие привилегии, и поэтому где-то копируют манеру поведения первых, совершая различные безумства на дорогах. У каждого русского стоит в телефоне приложение, которое предупреждает о камерах контроля скорости, поэтому эти камеры часто бесполезны и ни на что не влияют.
      - способ самовыражения. Если вы заметили, очень часто участниками страшных дтп становятся водители машин старых, дешевых, водители малых и больших коммерческих авто. Их конечно по умолчанию больше, но все-таки сказывается еще и плохая управляемость и никакая безопасность в самих авто. Ну и сами "маленькие люди" вырастают в собственных глазах, если сумеют обогнать или подрезать более дорогую и заведомо более быструю машину. Часто, за пивком какой-нибудь водитель лады рассказывает с гордостью: "иду я по трассе 150, а тут впереди этот козел на мерседесе. Ну, я..." дальше идут подробности как он его обогнал, "научил", дал в морду и т.д. Слушатели конечно же, всегда на стороне рассказчика.
      - Порог превышения скорости в росии - 20 км/ч. В городе, вместо 60 ты можешь ехать 80, а вместо 5 км/ч - 25. То есть, прямо по городской улице ты можешь мчаться 79 км/ч и тебе ничего не будет. Русские используют это по максимуму.
      - Штрафы за превышение мизерны. Если вы превысили на 21 км/ч, штраф составит 5 долларов. Если вы превысили на 40 км, штраф составит 15 долларов. Ну и если вы едете с превышением 60 (SIXTY) км/ч, штраф составит ЦЕЛЫХ 50 долларов. Это если вас поймала камера. Если же вас остановила полиция за ЛЮБОЕ превышение, вы спокойно можете сунуть инспектору 10-15 долларов и ехать дальше.

    I'm amazed how after witnessing a huge pile up other drivers just drive on. No attempt to stop and offer first aid. I guess its too dangerous to do so.

    Majority of these accidents could have been avoided. Like try slowing down when visibility is compromised or better yet don't drive in those conditions. Some also seemed like insurance accidents, like purposely done to collect money which is so messed up.

      I would say 98% of them. I come from a country where I would say it is VERY safe to drive; nevertheless, the ruthless driving habits some people have here are so insane, we would most likely not even think about them.

    Watching the drivers on Russian roads, three possibilities come to mind. 1, drunk driving is a far bigger problem there than here in the UK, 2, they really don't give a shit (possibly due to 1), and 3, they are doing it on purpose.

      1 - Definetly. Especially considering quantity of cars.
      2 - This one also true, not for all, but still. Even without first reason.
      3 - Sometimes it's insurance abuse, but pretty rare for nowadays.
      Summary:
      Bad driving education in majority. Very soft law for drivers, which provoke to pay not too big money for basic violations(like overspeed) and continue to violate.

    In Russia if you can't see what's in front of you don't slow down, it's ok to drive on the wrong side of the highway, ignore traffic signals, go thru intersections at warp 9, and aim for pedestrians, last but not least never, ever yield or let another driver in front of you.
