  • In this episode, we're joined by NN Running Team’s very own Eliud Kipchoge, a world-renowned marathon runner whose discipline and dedication have shattered boundaries and redefined success in long-distance running. Eliud is the first person to ever run a marathon in under 2 hours, and has won almost every marathon he has ever competed in, breaking the world record multiple times.
As well as discussing the Paris Olympics 2024 and the 2024 Tokyo Marathon, he shares his journey of absolute motivation, pushing through pain, and the importance of a mindset focused on overcoming boundaries. His insights provide a unique perspective on not just athletics, but on life's marathon itself.

As far as pain and suffering is concerned you need to recognize the source of the suffering, some is good and others are warning.

Great interview, thanks! Listened to while running. Always encouraging hearing Eliud on a run. Wish him all the best for Paris.

@@theloafpodYes, expecting a tight competition. If it all comes to this, it's gonna take a perfect (cloudy?) day. Can't wait to see who's on the final roster. Would've loved seeing him competing against Kiptum. Anyway, a great race ist coming up.

I think the interview could have been better. Lot of the stuff is already available on the internet. Was there a question about his fav bread or did I mishear that ?

I've never learned a single useful piece of running advice from Kipchoge. It's always inspirational stuff, like "be disciplined", "learn to say no", yada yada. I respect the hell out of him as an athlete though.
