Furious F1 Drivers & F1 Teams Slam New Rule Changes After Leaked Conversation!
Change in Formula 1 is about as inevitable as Birmingham being miserable, and it often seems a 50/50 in regards to how the changes will be received. How many times have we heard about the FIA getting it wrong, how many times have we seen team, driver and fan backlash for baffling decisions that sometimes don’t even make it to the circuit for how bafflingly stupid of an idea they were. Well it seems that the recent attitude towards a major upcoming change that could have a massive impact on the field, especially the midfield, has been incredibly positive, in what must have resulted in a mass exhalation in relief back at the FIA headquarters. Today, the drivers, FIA and FOM will be meeting to discuss whether or not an overhaul of the points system should be implemented from 2025 onwards, and we’re here to get you up to date on exactly what this vote would mean if it were to get the majority vote it needs to come into effect.

Top 10 = "Red" points (as currently allocated)
Bottom 10 = "Blue" points (as currently allocated for to 10)
    Red point = 1.75 x Blue Point.
That'll mix up the mid field.

Every position should score points from first to last.

    There should be points for all cars Here's my suggestion 1st -100 pts, 2nd -75 pts ,3rd -65 pts ,4th -55pts ,5th -45 pts, 6th -35 pts, 7th 30 pts, 8th - 25 pts, 9th - 20 pts , 10th 15 pts , 11th -10 points , 12th - 9 points , 13th - 8 pts , 14th - 7 pts , 15th - 6 pts , 16th - 5 pts , 17th - 4 pts , 18th - 3 pts , 19th - 2 pts, 20th -1 pt. 10 bonus pts for pole and 5 pts for fastest lap. This would separate the drivers at the back with currently no points and show who is really performing and who isn't . Thoughts ?

They are not interested in changing the big teams always win, DNA of business heads of F1.
We have have to be talking about a (serious) regulation which closed the gap between teams and not this convenient way to bring bottom team to the zone point in the most easy way.

Im a Max fan not redbull but im fully on board with this. I think points should be extended further anyone who is in that mid table deserve points

It should be hard to get points.
Thats why they mean something in the first place.

What a joke, who cares if they are fighting for 1 point it none? Are they saying that at the moment they don’t go for 11th and just give up if they are running 12th? All it’s doing is rewarding poor performance and the lack of ability to improve.

This strategy sounds like participation trophies.

It makes it easier to track how people are doing across the season- if points went to all drivers (up the points for the top 10 by 10, then count down from 10-1 for the bottom half IF they're classified as finishing the race), we'd see better fights in the midfield. With that system, going back to 2022, the Haas drivers weren't very far apart, but the gap for Williams was substantial. It didn't shake up anything towards the front, but the midfield was very mixed compared to the official results.

What is the point? If you are last place with zero points of last pla e with 10 points you're still last place...here it comes, the F1 participation award. It would be best for F1 to take it's eyes off of the US because this shit will never fly.

    • @shadowmancy9183
      @shadowmancy9183 Před měsícem

If you have three drivers with 0 points, who's actually in last? FIA already does a countback to see who finished the best out of them, so giving chances for points makes it more transparent for fans to see how drivers are actually doing. A driver finishing 11th five times and no lower than 15th should place better than a driver who finishes 10th once, but never places above 16th otherwise.

The "sport" has never been fair, but that doesn't mean it isn't a wondrous spectacle, it has always been more or less the outward manifestation of the economic prowess of the nations of this world, a veritable mortal combat betwixt them, for the subjects of these nations to witness in awe. It is a contest of the highest order, where warriors in state of the art steeds, that travel faster than man has ever dreamed possible, race wheel to wheel in a life or death struggle, it is something that captivates the soul and which imparts a sense of pride in the factions that support them. Whether or not it is fair...has never been part of the equation, and as such it rises above other human contests and concerns, which lay claim to such things. No F1 shows us the raw vainglory of the world and that is fine with me. The world is the world. We know that. It will always be what it is. That is why we pledge allegiance to Jesus Christ the King of Kings, and let the world be as it may.
