In free market conditions it is normal for the wide verity of companies associated with F1 do not have any plans to expand the sport at this time as it is unaffordable infrastructure which limits participation at any event. It is ironic that Andreotti has options in joining other series, indicating motorsport has options for his entry which he has declined. The true motivation is to take control of the technology within the sport and create a cartel or antitrust monopoly to be moved to the states where it will fester and die as a sport. The usa has a very distorted view of antitrust laws across the world with Google having a monopoly,, Microsoft, intel, apple the list goes on of usa monopolies.. The usa grand prix are becoming very unpopular with the fans and personnel, which has already seen a lack of racing interest in the USA and its controlling politics more comparable with that in china. Its ironic that Andreotti is been used by GM to buy into the sport as Ford hopes to buy Red Bull Austria shares. This is a problem which is comparable to find limited slots at London Heathrow due to all the slots already been taken. The irony here is that Andreotti is using politics to distort and create a monopoly to gain business advantage which he is arguing against......the press is exposing this man s desperation to return to the sport for personal reasons not real industry value. As a somewhat casual observer of the F1 scene, I don’t see why there would be an issue with an Andretti team. They have a long history of successful motorsports competition at many levels of the sport. Why would F1 deny them the opportunity to participate? If they don’t make the grid, they don’t race. That’s not going to cost the F1 organizers anything. F1 is a global competition, let everyone who produces a car to specs have a chance to compete.

It's simple, increase the prize money to accommodate an 11 and even 12th team, the rebellion of teams are based solely on the dilution of existing monies, period.

F1's shady business model got highlighted, and their hopes of cashing in on the U.S. market won't happen unless they let Andretti join. I give Andretti big props for playing the big cards. I seriously think a new top tier race series for North America actually reserecting the great Can-Am series which was the Hey Day of racing that had huge race purses and open to all comers and drivetrains and technology. With electric and hydrogen and other engine technologies being developed at a rapid place there is definitely a market to see the latest technologies in many different drive train and handling configurations free to create speed without any kind of rules to restrict other than 4 wheels. With the amt of money Andretti will spend only to be caught in the F1 web of injustice and politics. They didnt learn their lesson and should move on instead of begging to play in that game they should use their clout to form an exciting Can Am series here for true racing fans from all disciplines. Go North America forget the boring F1where every car is basically the same and the same team wins 99% of the races.

So NO massive announcement. Your speculation is sound - but there will be NO changes in Sky Sports F1 coverage at the moment. They will continue the rotations as pundits become available and unavailable. The good ones will stick around like Collins - the duds like Di Resta will fall. When making these assumptions of checo, people forget who checo is being compared to. People forget that Max is seating on that other rb. Max is capable of extracting the maximum potential of that rb car and to compare checo to do the exact same is a disrespect to Max. Redbull is no longer as dominant as they seem to be. Max is just the better driver for the most part.
