    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS:
Question: What if I have low sebum production?
Ans: keep going, it may take longer for you to get full coverage but, you will get there if you’re consistent
Question: Do I have to use products the whole time?
Ans: No, once a section is well coated with sebum, all it will need is a little bit of water to help loosen it up so you can spread it.
Question: Is there a right and wrong way to twist my hair?
Ans: If your hair is dense and highly textured like mine, it’s a good practice to let your roots breath by starting your twist further away from your scalp.
Question: What if my skin is acne prone?
Ans: If you skin is acne prone like mine, start the process all over again after 4 to 6 weeks before your skin breaks out.
Question: How long can I do this for?
Ans: As long as your hair and scalp are happy, you’re not neglecting your hair and you’re consistent you can do this for as long as you want.
Question: What if I get too much sebum coverage?
Ans: If you get too much sebum coverage and you don’t want to start over, you can wash your hair under the shower with just warm water. That will help spread and thin out the coverage a little bit.
Question: How do you know when a section is coated
Ans: You can actually feel it on your fingers. Sebum feels thick, sticky and slippery.

The nasty comments from individuals on this matter completely comes from misinformation. The reason a person's hair may smell comes from the mere fact of using commercial products on the hair, sebum does not produce odor. My grandmother and older aunty's practiced this technique as well and their hair and scalp has always been healthy.

Everyone has sebum so I’m sure it’ll work for anyone with hair. Sebum is naturally produced all over your body, when it comes to hair it slides easier down straighter hair because there are no curls or kinks to maneuver through, so helping the sebum naturally produced on your scalp find its way down your hair strand would be beneficial for anyone with coarse hair.

    Aloha!🌺
    1. The basic blow dryer is the cheapest because it has metal heating coils which hearts the hair strand unevenly causing the most damage.
    2. The ceramic blow dryer is the safest because if it has ceramic-coated coils infused with tourmaline it heats the hair stand from the inside out, distributes heat evenly by lowering its temperature in response to surrounding temperature, and releases negative ions.
    3. The titanium blow dryer gives the best results as it leaves hair smoother, shinier, and with less static. This dryer also heats evenly releasing most negative ions. It gets really hot really fast shortening your dry time but, be present to avoid over drying.
    P.s.

  • @BackToNatural
    @BackToNatural Před 5 lety +2

The basic blow dryer has a motorized fan in the back that sucks air into the blowdryer, through the metal heating coils and out the front as hot air. It is just hot air on your hair, nothing fancy. Basic blowdryers heat up your hair layer by layer until its dry, causing damage to your outer cuticles. The heating coils heat up your hair unevenly. That is why the basic blow dryer is the CHEAPEST!
The Ionic blow dryer also has a motorized fan in the back that sucks air into the blowdryer, through the metal heating coils and out the front as hot air. The difference between the Ionic and the basic blow dryer is that the ionic has an additional material in it such as porcelain, ceramic, titanium, tourmaline, or pearls which are activated when heated. Ionic blow dryers emit deep penetrating infrared heat that has long penetrating waves that direct the strongest part of its heat to the inner layers of your hair first, drying your hair from the inside out. It also breaks up groups of water molecules so that the hot air can dry them faster.
Ceramic coated blowdryer infused with tourmaline distributes heat evenly and releases negative ions. ceramic has a unique ability to lower its temperature in response to its surrounding temperature. Because this blow dryer produces a more controlled heat temperature it is the SAFEST!
The titanium blow dryer also distributes heat evenly and it releases the most negative ions. It will make your hair smoother, shinier and have less static. It has a consist high temperature. Created with professional stylist in mind, producing the greatest amount of beneficial negative ions this blow dryer gives you the BEST RESULTS!
    * All blowdryers cause some level of damage, so it's important to be cautious and present when using them.

The Basic blow dryer is the cheapest with a simple design and only blows hot air, it is also the most damaging.
The ceramic blow dryer is the safest, it releases negative ions into your hair which helps with the drying time and, evenly distributes heat, changes heat based on the surrounding temperature of the environment and replenishes hair negative ion charges. Titanium blow dryer had the best results because of it drys hair from the inside out, and gets hotter faster.

@GreenBeauty, I know this was over a year ago. Can you revisit this method from beginning to end with 1) showing what product you used to wash your hair before you started and 2) what oils can we use to coat our hair until the sebum builds up and 3) for those of us who may not want to use a blow dryer to stretch our hair out, because we may have soft, thin and easy to break hair, how can we naturally stretch our hair. I really love your videos and will be ordering more of your products as soon as I can. Thank you and have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. One finally point, how long could we use this method? Without heat, should I wash my scalp every two to three weeks or go for a month at a time? Thank you again.💖💖💖

The ionic blow dryer with titanium gives the best results. The basic blow-dryer is the most simple and the cheapest and can cause the most damage. The ionic blow dryer with ceramic tends to be the safest. The ceramic blow-dryer gives even heat distribution and releases negative ions making it safer. The titanium blow-dry also has even heat distribution and releases more negative ions making it easier to get better results. But it heats up really quick that is something to be very aware of.

Its hard water or a very nasty plumbing system, I bet. I even bought one of those shower attachments to soften/clean water. I lived in my home 8 yrs, and it was a beautiful home, mad curb appeal! but it had alot of plumbing issues! $$$ Costly too. Inside the pipes was old n corroded. Also, my hair would grow but slowly, sebum wouldnt produce it seemed, 5 yrs natural sticking to strict natural regimens. NO significant growth without breakage and looking like Im 2 yrs natural after having to trim due to 3 bald spots appearing in the bk of my head. Consequently, Lost my house to foreclosure, was so upset!! Still am...but lol the shower at the apartment felt so Different, the bath times too and suddenly my hair is growing, feeling softer and I feel sebum! My skin is improving too, and I didnt even realize it needed anything, but it seems clearer and softer.

Since the basic blow dryer just blows hot air it is diffiently the cheapest. Ceramic coated Ionic blow dryers are safest for the hair because they have the ability to lower its temperature according to the surrounding temperature. Titanium coated Ionic dryers give the best results but get hot fast so caution is needed.

Great informative series on how to use heat to maintain healthy hair. You always hear people talking about heat damage, but you gave a very thorough series on how heat can be an ally. Here's my giveaway answers below:
Basic blow dryer: is the cheapest but can cause the most damage.
Ceramic blow dryer: infused with tourmaline is the safest because it produces a more controlled heat temperature.
Titanium blow dryer: yields the best result because it produces the most beneficial negative ion and drys the hair quicker but requires more attention.
