    The lack of water and proper nutrition will cause thinning as well. Now that I have a fit lifestyle, workout habitually, and have a healthy nutrition regimen
 my hair is flourishing.

    Wow as a Licensed Cosmetologist whose done a lot of research in my life.I had no idea that inflammation affects your scalp.. I knew that it's the primary cause for every disease in the body, but never equated it to the scalp...What an Ah ha moment. This makes so much sense.. The way to combat this is to strengthen your kidneys and liver. The inflammation is caused by stagnant lymph fluid. (lymph is the body's sewer system, it carries cellular waste and other waste away to be eliminated by the kidneys)
    When your waste system is backed up, (through years of wear and tear and stress caused by a diet of processed food, drugs and alcohol) The lymph fluid that transports the cell trash (otherwise known as pus) begins to find other ways of elimination.
    Pus is essentially white blood cells that have eaten either bacteria, viruses, hormones (like DHT) or simply cell waste that then die, and must be eliminated by the body.
    acne, eczema, rashes, ect. occur because the body will begin to store the acidic waste in areas of the body that are the least detrimental to store it. when it isnt being eliminated properly by your kidneys. (Its not gonna let that waste sit near your vital organs)
    It will begin to store this waste within tissues, this is why people get cysts, (I know you've seen those pimple popping videos) arthritis and many other inflammatory conditions (any disease that ends in "itis" means inflammation)
    Your Scalp is another place the body will store these acidic wastes, which will over time cause inflammation and weaken the hair follicles.
    To combat this you must go to the root of the problem which is a overloaded lymphatic system, which is caused by weakened kidneys and liver.
    A way to check is by collecting a sample of your pee in a clear glass, ( yeah ik its nasty) let it sit for about 12 hours, and check to see if there is any cloudy sediment settled at the bottom, if there is it means your kidneys are doing their job and eliminating the waste from your lymphatic system, but if the urine is clear, with no sediment, it means your kidneys are backed up, weak and not processing the waste through your urine as they should.

    • @70Sapphires
      @70Sapphires Pƙed 2 lety +5

      Everything I've ever read about kidney function and urine quality indicated that urine should be clear or pale yellow - to indicate no gunk remains in the body/bloodstream. I think that seeing sediment 24hrs later, had I been checking that many hours later, would've had me running to the doctor in a panic! So, your statement about the sediment in urine after 24hrs, is very interesting (and I believe you); the idea of it leaves me both freaked out, and amazed. đŸ€Ż

    • @eric123426
      @eric123426 Pƙed 2 lety +12

      @@70Sapphires Tell me, how does clear urine indicate no “gunk” is in the body? If the urine is clear, where is the waste then? If anything that just tells me that that waste isn’t filtering out like it should. It is the job of the kidneys to eliminate the waste brought to it by the lymphatic system. So if you aren’t seeing that waste in your urine; (you see it clearly when it manifest as acne and cysts and exits through your skin) I think it’s safe to reason there is an issue there.
      Here are some examples of others who have gotten their kidneys to function properly though fasts and healthy dieting

      Hello, I understand how stressful hair loss can be especially if you don’t know the cause and what to do about it. The process you described definitely sounds like a health issue. Health can be confusing b/c there are so many test and so many diagnoses out there. Sometimes you need to just ignore all the noise and look within. Have you ever tried fasting? Fasting is a great way to give your body a break from digesting food so it can literally heal its self. Over time, it also cleans out your intestines so they can absorb nutrients and minerals better. I also suggest you try meditating and picking up a hobby whose purpose is JUST for enjoyment. Stress is a real issue in this “developed world” and stress is often the root cause to all types of health issues. The path to health does not have to be complicated, you just have to prioritize putting yourself first. Pick yourself up and sit on your throne b/c I see from your tone and profile picture that you are beautiful.

    I want to add that the sun is a heat source, and just because a little is good for you, even if you don't actually burn, your scalp skin will get rough and leathery just like you see less melaninated people's facial skin getting as they age. I discovered this only recently when I discovered a thinning hair area at the back top of my head and realized it's where my wide brimmed sun visor I wear each day to walk the dog was leaving my hair exposed to the sun. I liked the hat because not having a top, it fit around my big head of hair, but now I've had to make the effort to find some men's fishing hats that don't look too masculine to wear instead. I hope I caught it in time and that that area of my scalp can recover.

      This would be so awesome!
      I have sisterlocks and have kept them shoulder length to prevent tension and thinning; yet, the thinning at top has started. I did a few apple cider vinegar scalp detoxs and do not tighten my hair all at once; with the top where the thinning is, done last and not to the scalp. None of my hair is tightened to the scalp. There is improvement and growth, thank goodness.
      This weekend I had intended to take out my sisterlocks and switch to mini 2-strand twists. Have to admit, I really do no want to take out my sisterlocks but I want to stop the thinning completely. I cancelled my appt for this weekend and then came across this video. I have dreadlocks. Putting my hair up before I go in the shower, even if I do it loosely, does put tension on my scalp. I didn't realize it until I had kept it up all day and realized parts of my scalp was sore once I finally let my hair down. I freeform, so with as much as my hair crisscrosses between locs, it's actually bad to force them to lay where they don't naturally lay or the tension is a lot more intense.

    Another one is maintaining the pH of your scalp. I've used products that my scalp simply just doesn't care for. Most store-bought shampoos and conditioners drive my scalp crazy and will have me itching until my next wash. So I just make all my hair products now. It is still trial and error because what works for my scalp today may not work forever.

    Can you do a video on low tension hairstyles. I do braids and twist with my natural hair all the time because it easier to deal with and makes it “presentable” for my work environment. The front of my hair is thinning and I think tension is the main culprit in my case.

    A lightbulb went off when you mentioned hooded dryers. My scalp has been extremely sore & sensitive & I had to see a doctor recently bcuz a bump came up & turned into an abcess. I never would have linked the hooded dryer to the issue & think this may be the cause bcuz I wash my hair every week. I'm so glad I found this video, definitely will stop using the dryer to see if it may be the cause.

    I agree! Since I’ve been getting knotless braids and they slather an excessive amount of braiding gel on my hair, it has destroyed my scalp! The tension on top of suffocating my hair follicles has been detrimental. I’ve experienced extreme thinning especially with the removal/detangle process. I know hair sheds after being in a protective style but it seems closer to falling out

Since I've kept mine regularly cleaned and moisturized with light, anti-inflammatory, noncomedogenic (non pore-clogging) oils, I've had significant reduction in inflammation and improvement in hair growth and strand thickness.

    This is good information. I find that the light-weight conditioners are not enough for my hair and I tend to prefer heavy creams. I don't apply product directly to my scalp but I usually try to get it as close to the scalp as possible to cover the hair near the roots. From now on, I'll make sure to start applying from one inch away. I will also give up super hot water to wash my hair

    • @consciouscrypto3090
      @consciouscrypto3090 Pƙed 2 lety +7

      Yeah, I'm same. I like super hot water in general, but will tone it down. The thing with creams is that they melt so don't stay where we put them, so I too think adding more distance between the scalp is wise. The thing that makes it ok I think is that the first inch of hair is new hair anyway, so the healthiest hair of all. It also is the first lubricated by our natural sebum. So if we can accept puffier hairdos, due to the roots not lying flat, the hair will be fine there with no product. Here's hoping anyway!
