Man United fans react to Cristiano Ronaldo's interview with Piers Morgan

- Cristiano Ronaldo has accused Manchester United of betraying him in an explosive interview with Piers Morgan on Talk TV.
The Portuguese forward has been something of a peripheral figure at Old Trafford since the appointment of manager Erik ten Hag, and faced disciplinary proceedings - eventually being forced to train with the club's youth team - as a result of storming out of Old Trafford after a victory against Spurs in which he didn't feature.
More disciplinary proceedings would appear to be on the cards after this interview, in which Ronaldo also said that he doesn't respect ten Hag, before criticising the club for its lack of progress since left more than a decade ago for Real Madrid.
We went down to Old Trafford to find out how fans feel about one of their greatest players, but one who is increasingly appearing to be more trouble than he's worth.

I have always been a Messi fan and although I appreciated Ronaldos achievements, I was never much of a fan. However, Man Utd have been bang average across the board since Fergie retired. Ten Hag is doing a decent job at trying to restore pride in the badge but he’s achieved nothing anywhere except winning the Dutch league with practically the only club that’s going to win the Dutch league. When you’ve got a player that’s won what Ronaldo has won at your disposal, you kinda shelve your ego a bit and see how you can harmoniously resolve any issue between club and player, not assert yourself even further. Ronaldo is a club legend and deserves a little more wiggle room than most other players. Yes he’s got a massive ego but it’s driven him to greatness and if a few more people shut their mouths and listened and shelved their foolish pride, this would not be happening. CR7 has done a lot for United. And he still kept them in Champions League the previous season. And scored so much he kept them in Europe league this season. The only reason United is 1/2 way decent it's because Cristiano ronaldo was scoring.
