When many United fans criticize CR7 when he came back, I knew he wasn't the problem and what he said in this interview was absolutely correct. I've always believed him
I judge a footballer by his successes and he's one of the greatest of modern times. You don't achieve that by being a mug. Unfortunately, when he went back to united, they didn't share his drive, ambition and will to win. They're just a club full of overpaid mediocre players.

Problem with this sport is it's about a lot of money. They should probably make contracts in which pay is reduced significantly if the player decides not to play.
No matter how strong he is and how he handles criticism and even hate and turns it into motivation for himself, Ronaldo is human and those harsh and unfair remarks do get to him sometimes. Ronaldo is the player who made me and countless other people of my generation fall in love with Manchester United. Despite their acrimonious falling out, i hope Manchester United organize a testimonial match for this player who brought so much glory to the Reds and the fans over the year's. He truly deserves it. If Man Utd could do it for Roy Keane who also left after a cold ruction with the manager, then surely they can do the same for Ronaldo. The club is finished and I've been saying this for years. They are probably the club who spent the most in recent years and transform promising players with out of the world price tags into flops.
