5 Years of Making Videos

- On January 21st, 2019, I began making videos consistently on the channel, starting with my first video "Why Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is an AMAZING 'Sequel'". Last week, I celebrated five years of making videos, so I wanted to reflect on that time is this video by talking about where it all began, some of my favorite projects, and other memories along the way. Thank you all for your support throughout the years, and I hope you enjoy!

Y'know, it's weird to think about how many years you've been doing this because it's felt like such a constant and ongoing thing since I first watched your Xenoblade 2 videos. Thanks for all the consistently enthralling stuff, it's a treat to watch you cover whichever game or series sparks your interest. Here's to 5 more!

Meeting you in college was one of the best things that happened to me. You were one of the main people that made me feel welcome every Guild Night, and the friendship that came from that pushed me through some of my hardest days. Even if it took til the end of our college years, spending free weekends chilling with you and the gang in the dorm room was one of the highest notes to end on. The fact that you've allowed me a small place in your life (and a few vids lol) is something i will always be grateful for.
Thanks for being you, Kay. Here's to another five years.

Your Xenoblade 2 video inspired me to buy the game, which is now my favorite game of all time. Xenoblade 2 opened my eyes to JRPG's in general, which is also now my favorite genre. So thanks for that!
Congrats on 5 years. Was just talking to my wife yesterday about how quickly 5 years have gone by, but all that’s happened over these last 5 years. Damn seeing Pokeaim and thunder blunder Agency!
It’s cool to hear about how you tried making CZcams happen a couple different times until you found something that worked to where you have an audience now.

Congrats on 5 years, man! Been watching your content for 4-ish years and this reflective video was very fun. I absolutely love Xenoblade and your videos on the series, but I'm also glad you branch out to other things you enjoy like Zero Escape or Pokemon while still keeping up the amazing quality. The Metal Gear video in particular was great because it finally gave me the push to give the series a go, so thanks for that. Keep up the good work and I'm definitely looking forward to whatever you put out in the future!

I don't comment a lot and I haven't been around all five years (3 and a half I think?) but you are legitimately one of my favorite creators. Your analyses are in-depth and entertaining and often reflect how I feel about the material. The video on Loss, your Super Paper Mario, and the Black and White video are some of my favorites. Xenoblade, SPM, and Pokemon Gen 5 were major parts of my childhood and have influenced me in my teenage years, so to watch those videos and know that someone else in the world understands, even if it's someone that I don't even know, warms my heart. And then there's Who Wants to Be a Monado Heir...I absolutely LOVE the series! Not only is it a good pun, but it's exactly in my vein of preferred entertainment.
Overall, I'm so glad your channel exists and that I've been able to watch all of the videos you've put out. Whatever else comes next, I'm rooting for you!

Congrats on the milestone! Your Xenoblade content is a pretty big reason that I started making my own videos. It was also a pleasure to get to work on a video with you in the past. I think it's awesome how open minded and patient you were. Here's to five more years!

been watching for a few years and have always appreciated the quality and effort of each of your videos. I especially love the Zero Escape essays and felt you had really interesting analysis of the games. Also a huge fan of the Monado Heir series so I hope we get more this year!! Only reason I even know that exact date is because the day after, I made a post on Amino recommending your videos. I outright said your videos "gave me chills." You've definitely remained one of my favorites since then!

you sound so much diff irl lol
I've noticed I vary the speed of my speech a lot when I talk off script, so my scripted videos certainly make it sound more refined than it actually is haha.
