"How did they get the arm out of the shot?"
Rotoscoping and compositing. One of the oldest tricks in the VFX handbook.
They take a static image of the background with none of the characters present (a "clean plate"), set up and take each of the pictures needed for the full animation, then "cut out" the posing arms (and probably their shadows) in each of the frames before layering that over the clean plate.
There are a couple more steps that would need to be taken if you wanted to do this with actual film, due to properties of light that you really don't need to worry about with digital compositing, but the concept's been around in some form since the late 1800s.

So to explain the meds thing A BIT (not comprehensive at all):
When a chemist first comes up with a formula for a drug to be made, the company that wants to make that drug has to patent it right away, drug patents only last 20 years (I say only because there are patents for other things like IP and media that last WAY longer) the drug then has to be actually made, tested, marketed, and shipped to stores while this 20 years runs out. Most drugs only have a patent life of around 5-6 years by the time they hit the shelf, so in those 5-6 years the companies try to make up all the money that was spent those other 14-15 years on making, testing, etc. That's why name brand drugs get so expensive.
Generics are what you get after that patent runs out, when any company can use the same formula and put it on to a shelf for MUCH cheaper than the company who had to do all the testing and marketing and such. They just have to make up the costs for creating, packaging, shipping, and some misc extras. From there, the drugstore can now make a profit by marking up the price on that generic, because by the time they get it it's usually nearly half the cost of what they'll make you pay for it, which is still usually much cheaper than the original name brand drug.
Hope this helps, feel free to leave questions or corrections in the replies, I work in the industry but am by no means an expert, just more knowledgeable than most.

Re: Prescription prices. You mentioned this in this clip, with Jeannie providing some valid reasons for high prescription prices, but here is another reason why Mark Cuban's idea would make sense.
My experience with this is out of date, from over a decade ago, but it may still be the same today, I honestly don't know. This is how it used to be with mail order pharmacies in their early days, early to mid 2000's. There were several mail order pharmacies, they will still a relatively new business model, and they were in competition with each other. The competition was not for customers, at least not directly, they were in competition for contracts from insurance companies.
The major insurance companies would negotiate with the pharmacies, and eventually choose one to be the provider for their clients. If you had a specific insurance, and you wanted to have a 90-day supply of your prescription mailed to you, you had to go through the provider that had been awarded the contract... or pay full price. Of course you could just get a 30-day supply at your local pharmacy like normal, but some people couldn't get out and the convenience of having it mailed to them was important. Back then it was unusual to get a 90-day supply at your local pharmacy, and they also weren't in the regular practice of sending out prescriptions in the mail. These days things are different.
Anyway, the contract that the mail order pharmacy signed to secure the customers from that insurance company set the "Cash Price" for each prescription. Not the insurance price, not the price the customer paid, their "Co-pay", but the starting price that everything else was calculated on. For example, the "Cash Price" was $100, the Insurance was given a "Discount" down to $80, then the customer paid a $20 "Co-pay"... with the insurance paying the pharmacy the remaining $60. This was all shown on the billing information that the customer had access to (legally, it could be requested by any customer if they wanted to go through the hassle), and was usually included in a billing statement with the medication that was shipped out.
The thing is... that "Cash Price" was not the cash price. That "Cash Price" was determined by applying a formula to an index. The index was generated by calculating an average wholesale price that the specific drug had sold for over a certain period of time, and then using a multiplier. The specifics were all part of the contract that was negotiated between the insurance company and the mail order pharmacy. Here is the shitty part. If a customer contacted us, we had to ask them if they had insurance. If they had insurance with a company that we had a contract with, we had to tell them the "Cash Price"... even if they didn't want to use the insurance... and we were not allowed to give them additional information or change the price we charged them.
I know this is long, but it's something I have a lot of rage about, so I'm being wordy. It's the internet, I assume if you aren't interested, you're not reading this anyway.
So, here is a practical example that is close to how it really was (I'm working from memory, so the pennies will be off). If someone had "Blue Star Insurance" (pretend name... at least I think it is) and they contacted us, and told us they had "Blue Star Insurance", but they just wanted to know how much it would cost if they bought something like Levoxyl (an actual medication name) out of pocket, not billing the insurance. We would have to go into "Blue Star Insurance" to do a price quote and see what the "Cash Price" was, and tell them that price... right around $87 for a 90-day supply.
If someone called us from "Majesty Insurance" (another pretend name, I hope) it would be a different "Cash Price" and we had to tell them that was our pharmacy's price to sell the drug to them, not using their insurance. For them it might be $79.
The worst part... if someone called us, and we had no record of them, and they told us they wanted to buy a 90-day supply of Levoxyl out of pocket, we would sell it to them for under $12. Maybe $9 or $10... it varied a lot, but we didn't mark it up too much. We honestly weren't interested in gouging anyone on a case by case basis. The people who worked in the actual pharmacy weren't interested in gouging anyone. The people who worked there were, in my experience, universally good-hearted people. We frequently went out of our way to help people, spending as much time as it took, so if there is a villain in this story, it's not the pharmacy employees. Maybe the suits who negotiated the contract could be viewed with a critical gaze, but not the pharmacists, pharmacy techs, customer service reps, or even management. We all wanted to help people.
So, if you had insurance you were paying almost 10x the going rate for a prescription if we knew you had insurance, because of the contracts that were signed to bring in large numbers of customers. The damning part is that this fact was hidden information. Like any business of scale, we were making money on the margins, so we needed lots of customers to generate profit... otherwise we wouldn't be able to pay our overhead, and the business model doesn't work. The reason for this is that there were plenty of medications that we were NOT making money on. I know for a fact that there were some items that we knew we would lose money on, but we would fill the orders anyway. The way we worked was that we were profitable over the long haul. When looking at all of our orders, we were profitable on enough of our business that we accepted that we had to lose money on some medications.
Like I said, the competition for the insurance company contracts was fierce, and that was all done by people who almost never saw the inside of our operation. They were corporate types who might show up once a year and tell everyone how amazing they were, and give out an award to someone to make sure that people were happy. Were they the bad guys? Well, they were business people making business decisions, and that meant maximizing profit. That's their job. When it comes to medication that seems ugly. I don't like it. I am not a fan of people making the practice of medicine or providing medication into a profit driven industry. That's really the crux of the issue for me.
What Mark Cuban was discussing, at least from what I understand, was telling the insurance companies to fuck off. Like, fuck all the way off. No contract. No price fixing. Just basing his price on cost plus margin, to keep things running. His company would not be selling 90 days of Levoxyl for $90, or $80... but $9... at least using the old prices I'm referring to. Hell, it may actually cost $80 or $90 today... or more. Jeannie's point is valid. There are a lot of elements in the supply chain for any business, and that is certainly true for prescription medication. The costs are not purely due to greedy profit seeking behavior. There is R&D, supply chain for the component chemicals that are used in making the medication, labor costs at every stage, then the insurance company has insurance (yes, really, that's true for most types of insurance, as a way to mitigate the risk of paying out large lawsuit claims and the like), not to mention every other type of overhead you can imagine (buildings, equipment, training for employees, etc).
The industry needs to generate profit to fund the research that finds the next generation of medication, and the entire enterprise is ridiculously expensive. However, the profit margins that I personally saw were egregious at times, and I have a great deal of anger and even some guilt at being a part of the business... even if I was a tiny cog in the machine.
I don't have a specific solution for how to make things better, but as I stated above, I don't think that things will get better as long as it is a "for profit" industry. That means some sort of Single Payer system, which usually means government control... and that has it's own problems. If everyone did a Mark Cuban business model for prescriptions, the insurance companies and the medication manufacturers would see their profits dwindle, and something would fall apart. People only invest in a business so long as it's more profitable than some other use of their money.
    That's my datadump/rant, for what it's worth.

Well, an actual semi truck costs as much as a house does. Plus, you have to have a special license called a Class A CDL or a variation of such depending on what type of rig your driving or what you're hauling cargo/trailer wise.
For you to get the CDL you have to go through MASSIVE amounts of special training on the basics of how to drive a semi and the trailer, which most of the time is a dry van, (you can be trained in other types but each trailer/tanker type requires even more specialized training because of what can or can't be hauled inside, proper warnings and signs for different cargo types like hazard vs non-hazard, turning radiuses of the trailers/tankers, etc) of which either you pay for or you become indentured to a company for. Then you've gotta constantly check over your truck before you take off at the beginning of your shift, during your break in the middle of your shift, and at the end of your shift to make sure your rig is safe for the road (and so you don't get a ticket that will take your CDL away). Don't even get me started on the Hours of Service stuff
If you go Owner-operator it gets even more complicated - you've gotta be able to manage and handle the fact that you're gonna spend $1500 or more on fuel depending on what you're hauling and how far its going, maintenance on the truck, tires (which can cost $500-$750 per tire), you've gotta do your taxes different, and more. And that's not even covering how you GET the loads.
Soooo... yeah, if that guy just wants to deck out a video game set up so he can experience the driving aspect of being a truck driver without dealing with all the headaches I don't blame him lol 😆
    Edit: I'm a truck driver

12:30 Most of biology is based on extracting energy from sugar, because that's how plants store energy. Sunlight is used to make sugars, chains of sugars make starches, chains of starches form carbohydrates, and chains of carbs form cellulose (wood). The longer chains are difficult for biology to break apart. That's why termites rely on specialized gut bacteria to digest wood. And herbivores have 4 stomachs and chew the grasses and leaves they eat multiple times - its a lengthy process to break down the cellulose chains into shorter links, which their bodies can then break down into sugar to use as fuel.
Petroleum also has energy (that's why we use it as fuel), and there are microbes which can eat petroleum products as food (unlike sugar, petroleum is a bunch of different molecules). The problem with plastics is that they're very long chains of petroleum hydrocarbons. As with cellulose, until those chains are broken down into shorter lengths, the microbes can't digest it. Plastic waste is a problem right now because the only we have to break down the long plastic chains is via ultraviolet light in sunlight. But bacteria seem to be developing ways to break apart the longer chains which form plastics. Once they can do that, any animal with these bacteria in their gut should be able to eat plastic as a food source.
This is a bit of a catch-22 however. The reason plastics are so useful is because they don't biodegrade. That roll of plastic food wrap in your kitchen lasts for years in a drawer without losing its qualities. Plastic food containers do not develop holes from bacteria eating them like they would the food inside. The plastic used in your car lasts for years without corroding or degrading. If biology develops the widespread ability to eat plastic, then suddenly plastic loses much of its advantage over wood-based products (e.g. cellophane). Which will probably lead us to develop new plastics that biology can't break down. Putting us right back in the situation we're in right now, with widespread plastic waste that won't break down naturally.

When I was in high school on my way home from hockey someone’s house was burning down the road from my place. I ran in another guy ran in behind me met the 2 kids running down the stairs inside. After we got them out I drove down a couple houses to get them to call the fire department. When I got out my truck to run inside I slipped on ice and damn near knocked myself out. I was really surprised that the house didn’t burn to the foundation. Only reason I think it didn’t the fire started in the upstairs bedroom. One of the very few houses that the FD actually saved from burning down.
