most people don't hate godzilla vs mechagodzilla 2, and most people don't like godzilla vs ebirah and defintiely not son of godzilla. And the Heisei Godzilla films were good, but why do you think that about them?
If you keep up with Godzilla Twitter and other places these are the common held sentiments
@@Zimzilla99 well maybe in one or two groups of people, but most people like godzilla vs mechagodzilla 2 for a lot of reasons, and don't like the other ones I named for lots more reasons.
But still you didn't really give me any reasons to why some people would think that.

Lot of people on this site with a far greater reach then you or I have these beliefs and many of their followers across the internet share it
As for reasons why the other films get a lot of praise now a days comes from what is believed to be
Stronger writing
More memorable characters
More impressive effects for their respective times
These three points all having smaller points within them
@@Zimzilla99 well I wasn't talking about the liked or anything like that, I was talking about the amount of people who say they thought the movie was really good and lots of people agree with them, and I only see one or two people disagree sometimes.
Like people like brandon tenold, up from the depths, alexthehunted, Cinemassacre Clips, and Big Action Bill to name a few, hold it in high regard and up from the depths even says it's one of the finest and most consistantly entertaining entries in this long running and beloved franchise.
And the others hold in in high regard also, with brandon tenold getting half a million people watching it and him not saying really anything negative about it and even saying that godzilla jr. was done better than minilla.
so I don't know where you got that most people don't like it, maybe some people, but most people do like it a lot, and I can see why, especially compared to the showa era.

Like and dislike “nowadays” are in reference to trends and opinion nowadays. Had this video been made a couple years I probably would have come up with a different line
