How do you guys bypass the emissions? Here in the states we have EPA 2010 emissions standards, that require DPF,SCR and Diesel Exhaust Fluid(AdBlue am I correct?) Most drivers just don't bother with it. You cannot enter the State of California without emissions compliant trucks. We do however have glider kits, trucks that are 100% brand new without and engine, transmission, or rear ends which the owner or manufacturer puts a rebuilt older engine and transmission in it. So Just curious how the Europeans bypass emissions standards?
We don't bypass emission laws, every European manufacturer has to comply with very stringent laws. I have been out of the industry for 5 years now, retired, but when left the laws were up to Euro5 , and I think it is either Euro6 or even 7 now. Each year every truck has to go for an MOT, Ministry of Transport test and safety exam. It is very strict, even a light bulb out can fail you. The emissions are measured at the test, 1% over can fail ,So no, European trucks do not bypass emission laws.
