I still use a heavily modified windows 10 with a start bar like back in Windows XP, I can access all of my files and never need to deal with this BS.
Also Windows Subsystem for Android. That was hella cool. Microsoft shoulda never removed that.
"Taskbar was centered like in mac". Brother, we always had an option to put it in the center, most people just don't like it that way 😂
Don’t worry we are keeping the ability to change this behind a setting
- Windows 11 for anything
At this point, most of us use windows of work requirements.
Anyone remember how perfect windows 7 was
Suddenly I am glad that I got used to linux years ago and now I use it as fluidly as people use Windows.
The hardware requirement isn't hardware related. It's privacy tracking allowance.
linux is starting to look REAL good
And this is why there's a Windows 12 in development 😂
I would get this if they did it on unactivated Windows installs. But for people who pay for their licenses? That's dirty.
Me, on Archlinux: “uh-huh, one more argument for switching to Linux”
I don’t think anyone ever paid the actual windows activation key.
I refuse to believe it
You only pay that much if you're pretty much clueless about licenses...
Remember when Microsoft automatically installed sponsored apps and games?
We need Windows 10 'second edition'
Man I wished it costed 140 bucks where I live. For some sick reason, in Mexico it costs around 300 dollars directly from Microsoft.
There's lots of good consumer grade linux versions out there. I have a system running Rocky and really like it, it's a redhat based os. Linux is also great for revitalizing old, slow systems as its much lighter weight than windows
the beauty is that youre all free to use linux or better yet make your own OS
R.I.P Terry Davis
The moment microsoft forces me to update to windows 11, I'll start using Linux.
I'm mostly pissed off that I can't move the physical task bar anymore
Windows debloater tool is a must in these days
Windows 7 still suited me the best
Remember everyone, the software works without being activated.
