Today taught me there is much to be gained by each prayer. A covenant on both sides that I really need. I remember the first time I partook of the Sacrament after years of inactivity in the Church. The Sacrament song that day was "I Stand
All Amazed" and as I reached for the Bread and Water I was overcome with emotion as I "marveled that He would descend from His throne devine to rescue a soul so rebellious and proud as mine". I was moved to personalize the Sacrament prayers just and I have continued to do so each Sunday as I ponder His gifts of the resurrection and the atonement after partaking of those Sacred emblems.
I ponder the prayer on the bread now as: "O God the Eternal Father, I ask thee in the name of they Son, Jesus Christ, to bless and sanctify this bread to MY soul as I partake of it; that I may eat in remembrance of the body of thy Son, and witness unto thee, O God, the Eternal Father, that I am willing to take upon ME the name of thy Son, and always remember Him, and keep His commandments which HE hath given ME, that I may always have his Spirit to be with Me. Amen." I do the same for the blessing on the water. This has been such a blessing to me as I remember my PERSONAL COVENANT made during the Sacrament which helps me thru the following week.

Use of our Hands that we might bless and uplift others vs. today's culture especially with the election chaos & rioting etc of hurting others. 2). Explaining that we are Christians through our Sacrament Prayers. What a powerful and sacred way to introduce the Godhead to others.

I’ve been pondering the sacrament prayers recently and it occurred to me that in remembering His body, I can remember that he had a mortal body and has an immortal body after resurrection. In remembering His blood, I may remember that He shed it permanently for remission of sins. It’s as if in the sacrament ordinance I am being taught about the significance of resurrection and the opportunity to forever put off the corruption of mortality.

I tried a few different come follow me CZcams’s, pod cast and I just couldn’t find one that I felt was me. I thought it was just me, but I decided to look again. This is amazing, plus the ScripturePlus and KnoWhy are just flat out fun!! Went to BYU and feel like I’m going to class, it’s so awesome. My 14 year old son was watching the simpsons on the way to school but I listen to your short videos on the way to school.... last week you had some great ones and Ben put his head phones away and we talked about com and seat belts and being paralyzed in such an easy I unpushed manner.

Tyler and Taylor for an old guy (that's me) you have given me a much better understanding of the Book of Mormon. I shall be revisiting, your weekly lessons again as I study the BofM in the future. Looking forward to your lessons next year. You have a great Christmas season and keep safe.

I so appreciate the time that goes into these videos. I’m grateful for the preparation and for the Spirit that goes into these. I have never found one lacking! I would like to make a comment on the “boring” meetings. I know there are speakers and teachers that are less dynamic than others. I know that some truly struggle with the way they present their thoughts. May I make a suggestion? Maybe when we pray for those speakers and teachers that might be boring, maybe, we should also ask for the Lord’s help for us to be able to hear with our hearts, to listen to what the Holy Ghost is trying to teach us. I know there have been times I have attended a meeting with a couple hundred people where some think it was so inspirational and life changing. Some felt it was a waste of time because they felt nothing and the majority felt it fell somewhere in between. We have been counseled to prepare for General Conference so that we may be taught. I submit that we approach every church meeting like this, whether it is young women’s or stake conference. I have found most meetings I have attended are much more inspirational when I take the responsibility to learn rather than be taught.

On the bread, it says "they MAY always", on the water, "that they MAY"; both say "may". I enjoy your lessons, thank you each for the time and effort that is put into each production.

What I've noticed about the Book of Moroni is that he is laying out the ordinances and how they are properly performed. If you are a prophet who knows that their time is short what would be one of the most important things to leave for future generations...... The first principles and ordinances of the gospel. That is exactly what he did. To me that is another witness of the authenticity of the Book of Mormon.

Although one may look at Moroni chapters 1-6 as a collection of "Handbook of Instruction" appendices, I wonder if there's something more thematic. Moroni is anticipating a future time when his brethren, the Lamanites, will be more receptive to truth. At that time they will have access to gospel truth contained in the record he has abridged (Book of Mormon - Moroni 1), Priesthood ordination, power and ordinances (Moroni 2-5) and the Church organization (Moroni 6) - that's a great summary of the restoration of the fulness of the gospel. What a blessing it has been to study the Book of Mormon this year. Thank you Book of Mormon Central for the wonderful study aids you have provided.

Fantastic insight, your years of studying and teaching these sacred truths have grown into wonderful blessings for Saints all over the world. Do you interact with Robert Wahlquist at all? I'm always amazed at how awesome yours and his CFM videos are and how while usually along the same time have such a rich and equally valuable difference between them. Super awesome BofMC team!

If we go to Hebrew instead of Egyptian. Mor or Mar = "My Lord". Oni is sorrow. Benjamin (son of right hand) was originally Benoni (son of pain or sorrow). Moroni lived in a time of pain and sorrow. Just a thought

Yes, another compelling possibility. And the amazing thing is that whether Hebrew or Egyptian, the meanings work, something Joseph Smith would have never known.
