Great work Mr. Curtis what a nice 👍 mower sir can’t wait to see it in action I bet it will help a lot when you run into a wet property love ❤️ your work and videos keep up the good work sir and thank you 🙏 for sharing 😀😀
OoooWeee MrCurtis looks like you work hard all day knocking yards down and your reward was a monsoon lol that new mower looks awesome it should help with wet and lawns. 👍
Hey Curtis I have the exact same mower. It's a really good mower engine and transmission are very strong. The only negative is that it's not well in wet grass. Because of the baffle under the deck. One trick that will help is remove your front baffle. Only 4screws.
Nice looking machine and I hope she serves you well! I've been very pleased with my 2019 Timemaster (new last July) but the Turfmaster is more my style having been in commercial lawncare since the 80's. These dirty 30's are great for bagging leaf clutter in Spring and Fall after my 52" has done it's thing. Cheers to good health and good business in this screwy 2020 season!

Nice mower mate. Wish they had that one here in Australia. The reason I went for the Timemaster instead is because they still only have the 179cc model here
That's a nice mower. I got 2015 exmark 30. I get beat up after 3 small yards. It gets too heavy to turn especially lawns with a lot of obstacles. Now it's my backup mower.🙂

so for 8 years you have mowed 25 yards a week with your timemaster? so it never broke down? does it have briggs motor? i ask because i am considering doing a small lawn care business..i think people like small mowers on there lawns more than big ass ones...Plus the quality of job is always better with a nice small cut machine imo. thax
@@roadstar499 I've got a 2012 Timemaster too and I do 1 yard twice a week (mine) and yes it breaks down. No engine problems but replaced pulleys, springs, cable, 3 sets of blades, idler tension pulley arm and spacer, 3 belts, etc. So I know if he's mowing 25 yards a week he's repaired it many times.
Hello Curtis, Enjoy your vids. Look like you could of brought the cutting height down 1more inch to give it a cleaner cut and yet cutting it high for that type of lawn. Sometimes you do have to cut different sections of the property at different heights, it's impossible to get a clean cut at the same height on some properties. Enjoyed seeing the rain pour at the end with a little hail, glad you made it home safely. I like the Toro 30", it should pay over and above. I've seen some give bad reviews about the product, which I understand but also it's how you maintain your equipment, how hard you run your equipment and knowing how to use your equipment in various conditions and the type and conditions of the blades.
Don’t know where you are from but that’s st Augustine grass and most varieties should be cut between 3-4 inches. You can see how thin the lawn is and one of the reasons is how short it’s being cut. There’s actually a part in the video where the neighbors lawn along the side of house by sidewalk is longer and thick. It also looks like somewhat new sod. He’s doing it probably-you want this grass to grow up and fill in sideways. This grass grows sideways also and can grow across cement especially when it’s cut higher. You don’t just keep cutting it shorter so you think you have a clean cut. It will be an amazing cut if he keeps cutting it high and it fills in. These 30 inch toros and exmarks have issues unfortunately and it has nothing to do with maintenance. I’ve had many and i wish they would get this figured out already-just many dumb issues that could be resolved easily.
Get it done curtis I have a 30 toro timemaster I love that mower I use it quite a bit you will be impressed with the turf master and how much time it will save you
The Toro 30"' mowers are like having a zero turn push mower. Power to mow through the tall stuff with ease! The biggest problem with the Turfmaster for me was the handle not raising for trailer storage. Now that I traded it in for a Timemaster, I can load a zero turn and two push mowers(1 always is the Timemaster).
Do not hit any roots. It will bend the blade shafts and throw the blade timing off. Our company used to use it. It's nice if you treat it right and don't beat on it. Congrats on your new mower though.
Would this be an overkill for a homeowner who loves his St Augustine? I now every 3-4 days in the growing season and like it high. I like the fact that this can cut upto 5” high.
Enough of the excuses Curtis, show us some stripes brother.😉😁 If the lawn looks good and the customer is happy, that's all that matters. Good God, that storm.😳
Have you ever tried the Exmark version of the 30 inch mower? I have been looking at 30 inch mowers I looked at the Ferris version and the one thing I don't like on the Ferris 32 inch cut mower is that it only goes 2 inch 3 inch 4 inch or 5 inch cuts no half inch cuts.
Yes, I have tried the Exmark version of the 30 inch mower. I like the all wheel adjustment on the Toro Mower. Now SCAG have a 30 inch coming soon. I think the adjustment system is good on the SCAG. I'm looking to go and check one.
This is currently probably the best 30"mower out there. I know, I know.. Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one.. But I'm sticking with my proclamation.. I'm on a market for a 30" mower as an upgrade for my small lawn care business but I can only dream of the Turfmaster, and especially this HDX model.. Way way above and beyond my current financial construct. So I'm eyeing the Turfmaster's sibling - the Timester. Given that I'm gonna put 2-5 hours on her weekly the so called residential Timemaster will run like a pro.
I have too much trouble with the Toro push mowers bogging down and dying with over 2-3 weeks of growth. I have a few 9f them now and they are good at one week of growth in the summer but not more. Thats why I decided not to get their 30".
If you had to buy only one Turfmaster HDX, which motor would you buy? I was all set to buy the Kohler version, but my dealer says I should buy the Kawasaki as the motor will last significantly longer and be a quieter and smoother engine. His Toro rep said he sells 8 Kawasaki to 2 Kohler. Other lawn pros on CZcams seem to like the power of the Kohler. It looks like the Exmark version now has the Kohler, so I am not sure what to do! Thank you!
I like the Kohler engine for the power. I would go with the Kohler engine. I have both engine and they both are good. Now thinking back there were a lot user from the first gen asking for more power. That is why I waited to get one.
