I’ll save you 20 minutes of your life. I bought a mower and it didn’t work so I made a 20 minute rambling video about it.

I like belt driven machines because if you blow a hydro line, you got a lot of lawn to fix, especially if the hydraulic fluid gets on the lawns, it kills it. You gotta dig it all out. You gotta take out the soil and replant grass, that's why I like the belts they run good for me. I bought 2 Skaggs. They need tires. And A. Little cosmetic work, but I bought a 36 inch. And I bought a 48 inch. I paid a $1000 for both and I. Ended up putting maybe 500 into the 2 of them. So I got 2 machines for $1500 and they made me more than that.

A neighbor's mower has the same problem. As an electronic hobbyist, I was curious that it could fail so soon - his description was that it just didn't start after sitting in the garage. It appears that the grass was wet on the last usage. As another commenter says, wet grass apparently brings moisture into the controller where it will fail. It should be designed to withstand high humidity like that however. Mowing wet grass is not preferred but does happen frequently and it should fail because of that.

Its basically a trash lawn. No uniform flow, busted rocks, trash, stumps, lawn furniture, bald spots, weeds etc. You need to threaten to charge them more. You'd be surprised how they'll correct the issues or either pay you the upcharge.

Looks like a $65-$75 yard given the amount of cutting, trimming, and edging
