Excellent review, man! Glad you think it’s a good mower. I received mine early this week and used it for the first time today. I had a little difficulty using it to mulch, but I’ll try it with the bag next time and see if it has any issues. I look forward to using it for many hundreds of hours more.
I have not done too much mulching with it. I am more of a bagging set up and it has proven to be a nice bagging machine.

I still like them we have both the older/ newer models of the Turfmaster as well as the Exmark. I like the older Turfmaster the best.
Nice review. I only used the Timemaster. Personal Pace is nice rather that one speed bar. I had a commercial toro recycler a while back for maybe a couple months before I sold it again. It was too heavy. The wheels would leave mohawks on lawns. That is when I decided just to stick to residential walk behinds as they are lighter. Great video Chuck!

I always go with Honda engines. I like this engine.
to help prevent that cable freying, regularly spray some lubricant down there

Put thin layer of duct tape on the filter cover male or female side piece and it will snug up better, especially if it keeps falling off
We have done that as well, we haven't had any issues with them in the other mowers since then.
Can you get the wheel moving without having to engage the blades? And between for the bald tires, staple some bicycle tire tread on them.
Yes, you engage the transmission without the blades as far as the tires go they have plenty of tread on them especially for being at this amount of hours.
I want the time master but I want it with a bigger engine because of all of my big hills.
The newer time masters has a larger engine. I have not used it myself, but if your looking at a 30 inch mower for your own personal use. Timemaster is the sure way to go, the turfmaster would be overkill for homeowner use.
How do you lube the transmission? Mine is starting to squeak
Sure it isnt the belt that is squeaking? If your actually getting noise coming out of the transmission it maybe time to swap in a new transmission.
Where did you get the maintanance kit from?
I just order them from Amazon. FJ180 tune up kit.
Will this fit in all back gates ???
The 30 inch does fit in most. I fond very few and far between gates that are too small
Remove that ziptip it’s the reason your cable keeps breaking.
