INSTALLATION & REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS:
- STEP-1: Avoid static discharge by grounding yourself using a wrist grounding strap or by touching a bare metal surface like a connector on the back of the laptop and remove all the power including the battery and power adapter.

It is located under the heatsink and soldered directly onto the motherboard.

Hi there. I have the same model with 128gb mSATA. I want to upgrade the space. Is it possible to install another 128gb msata in the slot next to wifi adaptor? Where wwan is supposed to be installed? Or the only option is to replace 128gb with 256gb?

I am pretty certain the WWAN slot is mSATA compatible. Putting an additional SSD there should work fine.

Start by checking to make sure you don't have any loose cables. Check the display cable in particular.

Hey I have a question. So I have the dell latitude e6420 with a intel core i5 and integrated graphics. I was wondering if I could replace the motherboard with the nvidia graphics motherboard that this model also has to give my laptop more graphics performance. Would it be okay? I thought it would be fine since the motherboards are literally the same but different graphics and I would transfer my i5 cpu to the new motherboard.

Yes you can swap the motherboards and the CPU will transfer too.
