had a new napa put in. 6 mos later it started not cranking. turn the key and nothing. take a bar and tap the starter once and it cranks up and runs. done it to me every several days andtapping starter always got it to start. Glen, would that be bad winding or brushes stuck?

Took my starter to "A & B Auto & Truck" here in Nashville,Tn and the repair was $53.00

I blew my turbo on my Cummins 5.9 no power no oil give it a fresh filter and oil put on a new turbo don't think I adjusted the wastegate valve correctly the linkage looked a little different I've got no extra power just granny power driving down the road and back seems to smoke a little bit any ideas on proper adjustment for that way wastegate valve?
