Zach Miller, a 27-year-old Nike Trail Elite runner, is one of the six year-round caretakers at historic Barr Camp halfway up Pikes Peak in Colorado. Although it’s an arduous job that requires a rather spartan lifestyle, it provides him with an ideal place to train for the world's toughest trail races.
