Incredible video. FYI...Zach ran a 7:10 pace for that 50 miler. The last 3 miles were under 16 minutes. INSANE!

Finally a trail film the likes of which I could only dream of. My favorite bit besides the conclusion of the race (of course) would be the silent moments on the trail with just the ambient noise. I could watch that for hours.. Exactly why the Headlands is at the top of the world's running destinations. GREAT FILM!

This is my absolute favorite running video. I watch it from time to time just because. These guys are both animals and to hear Zach cheering for others from 1st place with Hayden right on his heels.

This is the BEST trail/ultra film I've ever seen. Makes Unbreakable look dull. I DO wish it weren't called "Miller vs. Hawks," implying Hawks *lost* when he is nothing but a winner here. Especially given that it was his first 50 miler. Also, kudos to Jamil (and others) who ran along with them! And HOW did you keep your video so steady? Incredible.
Tim Smith I appreciate the comment Tim. My thinking in calling it that was to highlight the duel and the fact that it was really a two man race, which is pretty crazy with how stacked the field was. We didn't know what would happen but it was pretty clear after a few miles this was a two man show most of the day. We used mostly cameras with a stabilizing gimbal. -Jamil
I wasn't that serious about the name. Miller vs. Hawks does capture what's going on here. That gimbal works impressively. So smooooooth.

One of the best trail ultra vids ever. Un-freaking believable. WHO THE F DOWN VOTED THIS!?! If you have ever ripped down a trail trying to get a strava segment CR you can appreciate the amazing performance of Zach and Hayden and you are probably in awe of Jamil's camera work. Damn!!!
