Wonderful. Having been a regular visitor to Hong Kong since my early childhood, in the 1950s, I've been playing with the idea of the HK Marathon in 2024, but I'm now wondering if I can tough myself up enough to attempt this Ultra?

HK100 is such a great race, bottleneck after the start really sucked, but it gives motivation to do speed training while preparing for ultras

Love this video! I really want to do the HK100 some day. You should also consider coming out to South Korea to do an ultra (or better yet, combo SK and Japan!). Similar style mountains, but not so many stairs!

Great video. Are you using a gopro 5 and Feiyu G5? I've been having issues with mine and reverted back to my gopro 3 and Feiyu g3. Anyways great edit.

aside from the toprunners lots of people seem to start a way too hard tempo here for a 100 K imo, an almost classic mistake
I think when you see how clogged up the trail gets it makes sense to get ahead of the pack to avoid being trapped at the back but it is a risky move
