TRC has sold that green brush for a very long time, I think this one was designed to complement it rather than replace it. With the wide variability of wheel designs, you're never going to have one brush that can clean them all.
I have a set of wheels that this new brush is a perfect fit for, and it is the perfect companion to my other wheel brushes. No fraying issues here yet either.

I just ordered that green n red brush. I got this rag co brush a few weeks ago it's decent but after my first use the bristles frayed pretty bad. I'm still using it but not stoked.

@davidboyce6427 is yours getting sideways bristles too? I wanted to love it. I've probably done about 20 cars wheels with it already, but literally after the first car they went wonky.

I got this brush and although it’s soft and nice- doesn’t play with my carpal tunnel at all haha. Grip is just too thin and not ergonomic At all. Think I’m going to stick with the ultra utility brush

I think the DETAIL FACTORY PROGRIP WHEEL FACE BRUSH is a much better competitor to the green brush.

I have used the green one with ONR before with no apparent scratching concerns, however every paint is different so I wouldn’t advise using any brush on paint.
