    Can’t wait for the headlight video! I need to do the same

    today, i noticed my scooter when riding in turbo mode and single dual when it reached around 55.5v or less while using gear 3 and holding down throttle half way or even all the way down my motor speeds up and then battery or something cuts off and then i have to let go of throttle and try again and it keeps cutting off....is there something wrong with my motor, battery, controller or cables on the throttle or is the scooter built to a certain point when you hit a certain voltage it just wouldn't go anymore faster??? i also noticed that later on when i hold down throttle it would accelerate quickly for 1-3 secs and then maintain a consistent speed of 15mph and wouldn't go any faster??? and as my battery goes more lower it speed on gear 3 decrease by 1mph slowly....manage to make it all the way home with 54v left and in rain but then last 2 miles it came down super hard and i still decided to ride the scooter hopefully no problems tmr when i wake up and ride...and one of the street was flooded the water was higher than my scooter wheels and i literally rode my scooter through it and i dont know if any water found its way through gaps or somehow through the scooter deck???? i wasn't in a rush or anything to get home and decided to make this decision when i could of waited which may be better for my scooter and the bolts or certain parts in the scooter may start to rust slowly over time...

      I would open the deck and check for water inside. I’ve only ridden mine once so I am not sure how it acts. On my Qpower scooter, if your in dual mode and you reach a certain voltage, it will shut off the front motor.

    are we able to install a seat on this scooter??? I saw on banggood there is a seat for a laotie but not sure if its for this model or a different model for the laotie scooters.

      Yes you are. I saw a guy did it on another video. I’m going to get one with a back rest to help with the powerful torque this thing has on dual motor mode 😮

      Don’t use dual motors if it’s too aggressive for you. Single motor mode is less aggressive. As I’ve mentioned, it’s not a beginner scoot.

      @@Desert-Ecruising i had tested it last night on road with less cars and flat....single motor and dual motor able to hit 35mph using 50% of motor power output on gear 3 but wouldn't go any faster than that. i definitely feel a difference...especially when starting off to accelerate dual mode is crazy... but at least when using single mode you dont get the feel of the torque as much...and more smoother starting off when using dual motor i feel better when i do a kick start myself to get the scooter rolling before i gently touch throttle down and slowly press down as scooter is also slowly speeding up. if i put my one leg on scooter and then press throttle while scooter is moving then try to lift other leg on floor it will feel like its about to throw me off scooter or i'm about to do a wheelie lol hahaha..and i do feel like dual motor is more smooth while using it on a hill climb...instead of sticking to single motor which was still going the same max mph of 35...oh i forgot mention both these modes i tried was with turbo mode on...

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  Před 10 měsíci +1

      I use dual motor mode as a “boost” button. I rarely start out from a stop in dual mode. Usually am in gear 3, single motor. Once I get up to about 20mph, I hit the dual mode and have max acceleration and speed available. Compared to a stop, when going 20mph, the torque pull isn’t as bad. Also, you will get used to the throttle the more you ride and will better be able to control the torque. Tip- use very small throttle movements.

    do you know if they sell special anti theft bolts for the scooter wheels or any other parts of the scooter? i like to replace all the bolts that came with the scooter before i lock it outside after riding to work???

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Not that I know of. I can’t imagine anyone trying to steel the wheels off a scooter though. I don’t imagine there’s a big market for stolen scooter motors😆

      Depends on weight, speed, mode, terrain etc.
      If kept in single motor mode on level pavement going no faster than 25mph, I would guess you could get at least 40 miles on a full charge.
