    Warming up is crucial because the discomfort felt during first 10-20 minutes of a workout isn't true physical discomfort. Its mostly mental/emotional. Its your brain trying to pull you back into a comfortable state. Best to get that out the way in the warm up and not the first 50 of 500 burpees. Haha

    • @cplbird8179
      @cplbird8179 Před 3 lety +8

      @farorin ain't that crazy. Lol. Even with a thorough warm up the first ones are the hardest. I find its mostly because my flexibility increases after 10-15 minutes. Even a good warm up is still just a warm up, finding your groove in a workout such as these is much like an athlete in a sport.

    • @rainbowsludge660
      @rainbowsludge660 Před 3 lety +10

      I follow that principal with the 2000m row. I make sure the warm involves 10 mins at medium pace with the last 500m at race pace. And that 500m makes all the difference because it tells the CNS " this is the standard we're going for and you've already got over a big hurdle" because most people start to lose their pace after the first 500m. It seems like overkill but it works and is a good example of the importance of the warm up. I've gone from 07.29 to 06.42 over a period of 7 months due to this and better breathing techniques.

      @@adjithwk257 there is a very big difference between what our bodies can do and what they will do. Iron Wolf has an advantage... why is he training? At the root because he is a U.S. Marine that might one day need to fight for survival. So he is fighting terrorism and what not while many of us our fighting belly fat. Which evokes more discipline? Depends on the point of view.

    Key Notes:
    1) Never forget to Warm Up and do it Properly
    2) Have a Proper cooldown
    3) Never forget to hydrate the night before, present, and future.
    4) Control your Volume
    5) Train your mind and body to work together . Your body will adjust to what your mind tells it.
    * joints and ligaments takes longer to adapt to high volume workout.

    Man this is exactly what I was like back when I first started out would barely warm up . Just wanted to jump straight into the workout , but I quickly learned that's a recipe for disaster joints were stiff all over for days on end . Always warm up first and cool down after = longevity. I've gradually built myself up through out the months by going through the different levels . I'm at advanced stage now but it's taking me a lot of time to get to this level of reps. Whoever is reading this especially if your new to this godsend of a channel , please listen to every single word iron wolf says it will save you a lot of time and you will progress a lot safer. If your starting out do only low reps , you can build up to the high reps in due time . Trust me I was that guy who was trying to do the high reps starting out a big no no. I'm here since July and it's only the last 2 months I'm doing high reps workouts. This man is knowledge. Listen. You won't regret it. Take care everyone be safe.
