The Rode Wireless Me is awesome for all these uses and more

  • Prawn here with a look at the ‪@rodemic‬ Wireless ME setup. This is a nifty little wireless mic system that's not only powerful but also fantastic sounding.
    To demo that I'm showing it off in several different use cases - one strapped to an Android phone, another connected to a DSLR camera and a final one with the Rodecaster Pro II. I'm using the mic throughout the entire video to show just how awesome it is and then I'm showing how to connect it to the Rodecaster Pro 2 (you need the latest beta firmware).
    The Rode Wireless ME is a nice upgrade to the Wireless Go that came before it. You can upgrade it with various things including the Lavalier GO microphone and FlexClip GO clip system, but even out of the box.

    Can't wait for your review of the Black Shark v2 pro 2023 edition. I went through HS80, HS Virtuoso, Siren Pro before landing on Hyperx and Surface 2 cans... then these things come out. Now I'm sick.

    Anyone have any experience using these mics in noisy environments? We record in busy locations and keen to find something to reduce background noise that but record clear audio.

    I use a Rode Wireless Me and A rode Wireless Go at Church , to 2 Mevo Cameran. They work great. One is on the Pulpit the other on the Pastor I control them in the Mevo Multcam App. on my Ipad.

    Great review. Small point, as a non-American you should pronounce "Beta" as "be-tah" not the American "bay-tar". Type "British pronunciation of beta" into Google.
