Hello. I have Wireless Me already but I want to add one Wireless Go II transmitter to my setup. (I couldn't find single ME transmitter in shops thats why) As I know go 2 support internal record. But it records on transmitter or receiver? May I able to use that feature even when I add Go2 transmitter to my Me Receiver?
I don't have Go 2, but my guess is it records on the receiver. I think you can add 1 Go to as a transmitter but not as a receiver.

Try connecting RX to your device first. It should pair. I think there is a glitch. Sometimes they don't want to pair and you have to keep trying.
Thanks for the guide. One question - since they don't have the buttons and everything is controlled by the app, do you need to connect them to the phone and app every time you switch them on? Does it at least remember the last setting and keep it or switch to some default?
You don't need to use the app for day to uses. Last time I opened the app was 3 months ago. Settings will be saved until you change them on app.
No, you don't even need to use the app if your happy with the default settings. I found its plug and go! So cool

That should not happen. Try recording on another devise and see what happens. If still issues, you need to contact Rode for help.
Question is there a way that you can only use one and record off of your phone and it still pick up the mic. I have a phone that doesn’t have a jack so I’m wondering if you would just use the iPhone cable it comes with. Great video though!
You can't use only one piece. I use my phone as a recorder as well. It works with any type of phone.
At about 14:00 you made a mistake about what is "merged" option. I've recently bought Rode Wireless Me. The interesting thing is that the receiver has a mic and can record. So the split option records the transmitter on the one channel and the reciver on the other channel. Thus you can adjust the levels in post-production. If they are merged, they cannot be separated in post-production.

Thank you for this video. I love the explanation about the RX (Record) and TX (Talk). Now I only hav one problem. I have an Oppo Reno and my internal microphone is recording the voice instead of the Wireless ME. What am I doing wrong?
Most likely you haven't changed settings to make external mic your recording mic.
Thank you for your quick reply @@ADawn I did change that setting. I assume it has to do with the connection port. The Wireless ME is connected to the phone via the USB C port and normally my lavelier mic goes into the headphone entrence. What do you think?
If your phone has audio input port and USB C, both should work with Rode Me. I tested on my phone and I can use either way. I have a feeling this is an issue with phone hardware or settings.
Shoot@@ADawn I think it is my settings too but I just don't know which one. First I had a problem connecting to the app. But I fixed that one, I had to change the OTG connection. Then there was this problem which I cannot fix. I am travelling to Nepal on Thursday so than there is only one option left, to send them back. ;-(
I just purchased this specifically for an untreated space where I record content. My internal I phone mic made my audio so quiet. So I just tried recording directly into TikTok after following your video. The sound still felt very low not much difference. I was wondering if you had any suggestions. Thank you in advance

You can charge with any charger or USB-C cable. Manufacturers stopped giving separate chargers these days to cut cost.
Is the clip magnetic? I am looking for one that isn't as its annoying and I also want to keep all my kit in one bag (which inlcudes hard drives)

When I’m behind my iphone and record the audio is actually very poor for picking up my voice. Can a lavalier be plugged into that?
It should work, but I Havnt tested it. I also noticed that the voice sounds low.
Can anyone pls tell about how you charge these batteries.
Did you have to buy MORE cables and things to be able to charge both at once?

Use any regular USB C cable.
So do you need to use the audio (TRS) cable to record audio into your phone, or can you record to your phone using the usb-c cable?
You can use either one. I usually use the USB C.

Hello Ahmed, can you pls teach how to connect Rode WIreless Me to a macbook pro?
I never used a MacBook, but I can try to help using Windows knowledge. If you have a USB C or 3.5 Audio Jack, you can use any one of these cables Rode provided to connect to the receiver. MacBook should detect it as an external mic. If not, you have to check the settings for the external mic. Then you should be able to use the recorder to record.

How can I make it work with no headphone jack? If I plug in the usb c cable I cant get it working until now. Any advice could be helpful. Thanks!
You don't need any headphone jack. 1. Turn on both Sets and pair. 2. Connect to a recording device such as phone or tablet. 3. Open the video or recording app. 4. Change settings to use external mic. That's it.
I have connected Rx & Tx. But how to record the video using it?
You have to record as you would normally record on your phone. Hit the record button on your phone camera.
Just had mine delivered and even after a few hours of charging the TX and RX don't hold any battery.. As soon as you unplug all the lights go off!!

Yes, that's why the USB C cable is included.
What size jack should the external mic be? 3.5mm?
It can use either 3.5 or USB C.

That was just an example. You can use anything.

It won't be able to record if not connected to the phone.

idn why but, i paired perfectly and now when i'm connecting the RX to the phone with the app opened, i nothing happens. It says "Please connect a RODE device". No wonder if i connect the cable again, nothing, and the RODE reciver is fully charged and with the lights ON.
That makes no sense! Try restating the phone.
@@ADawn it doesn't matter. didn't work even using the PC like other users did it, but in my case (and it seems a lot of people have the same trouble) this device has a lot of problems.

For me it’s not pair
I can only see one unit on the app, I've uninstalled reinstalled can't see the two units
You need to connect each separately with USB C

Charge it the same way like any other devices. You can use powerbank, charger, USB output, etc.

No USB B cable. All modern devices use USB-C.
