My man, thank you for posting this video. I used it to replace the thermostat on my 2013 CTS 3.0. I didn't remove the entire cowl, just the passenger's side. Took me 3 days to get the housing free, but I had (what I believe to be) fuel lines blocking my full access, so my left hand got a killer workout! Just got it all back together today and took it for the maiden voyage around the block, followed by an hour drive to put it under load. The thermostat was the final hurdle I had to clear after repairing and reinstalling the driveshaft after the stock bolts sheared off, then replacing the water pump then finally the thermostat. So thank you for showing the way! Big thumbs up!
    Mike

I followed the instructions in the shop software, it says to remove the upper stabilizer bar, wipers, wiper motor cover, and the wiper motor, then the fuel injection cover and insulation and then you have access to the thermostat.... Sounds easy but hell no, each pipe has hidden bolts against the cylinder heads and the o rings on some are pretty stuck. And I don't even know how I took the heater hose off lol
