    This looks so simple, but I am getting a hell of a sweat doing it - and I've been doing calisthenics for several years. Feel like primal movement could be the 'yoga' that I can really get into. It's a lot of fun to do!

    @hansimeier6587 Před 5 lety

    Very boring, just another great video, as always!😉Please go on to bore me this way! 😅For my understanding just one more, kind of conceptual question: Movement seems to be somehow opposed to the regular exercise regime in fitness and bodybuilding, where very often you do exercises (in other words regulated movements) and count repititions or time (for example counting time for static exercises). If I just for example do the bear walk, count the steps and try to progress, I feel I am still following the regular exercise regime, although the bear walk, of course, is a great exercise. Where does movement start for you? How does it connect to flows? What are the building blocks or principles of movement workouts/routines? What would be a movement workout on rings/sling trainer like?
    The reason why I ask this: I am physically disabled ( very week hips, range of motion for hip flexion around 60-70° etc). Therefore I have to adapt a lot of exercises and routines around this condition. In some regards I can do some bodyweight exercises on intermediate level, on the other hand I cannot do some basic movements. If I better understand the principles of movement, it would be easier for me to adapt the routines/exercises to my needs. By the way, I think that principally this kind of exercise, would be very helpful especially for handicapped people, if the process of adaption is successful. People who have short term injuries and are not disabled would benefit from this information, too. They could learn how to train around an injury.

    • @Vahvafitness
      @Vahvafitness  Před 5 lety +4

      In movement training the steps should really be for knowing when to transition from one movement to another.
      Movement training should be as simple as possible: pick 2-6 different movements and combine them into a flow. Continue doing the routine until your body starts to lose the vigorous energy and the muscles start to burn.
      It should get a bit hard and feel uncomfortable because you need to support yourself the entire duration of the flow.
