This is a primal movement beginner video where I demonstrate some simple movements and a flow you can use to start natural movement training. The first part is a tutorial of various positions and movements you should practice regularly, then the last part is a follow along beginner flow that I repeat 3 times.
I recently started following a program called Animal Flow created by Mike Fitch from Global Bodyweight Training (animalflow.com/) and I'm REALLY impressed with the strength, stability and mobility benefits I've gained in the short month or two that I've been doing it. I highly recommend the program if you're interested.
Primal movement is all about keeping low to the ground and doing natural, animalistic movements that challenge your strength, stability and mobility. It's not about doing sets and reps; it's about learning to move in new, creative ways and gaining control in those movement patterns. Part of the fun of natural movement is the creative factor. You get to learn (and even invent your own) new movements and then try to connect them all and develop flows. It's really a fun and different style of training.
I hope you enjoy this video and it opens your mind to this new type of exercise. I'm hooked, if you can't tell :)

Just like to say something about it. (I‘m a physical therapist).
It‘s almost impossible to have a stiff lumber spine surely for a woman. But your lower thoracic spine could be.
Either way the movements will help that.

I like it because it's really familiar. I do most of these stretches naturally almost everyday. I like how there is a structure and folks have named these poses for us to benefit. I appreciate how he repeats his sets for us to see. Those wrist stretches being a delivery driver is really going to change the game for my circulatory system. Thanks man!

So helpful! There are a lot of animal flow videos that move too quickly into motions and positions that are impossible for a true beginner who has never done anything like this. But this video helps a novice slowly build up a foundation for more advanced positions. There's more than enough in the first 5 minutes to keep me challenged for weeks...

Eagerly awaiting your level 2 video ;-)
This level 1 you shared was just a gem. Currently doing this, followed by the "easy" variations of burpees you present in your videos now, twice a day, for 40 days. Based on my progress, I'm going to make more use of the harder burpee variations (but keeping a max of 30 burpees per one sitting).
Thank you so much, you made a yoga teacher really happy dong "other" movements than his usual ones.
