Those look dope and I am glad that I hoard my cutoffs so I can make a few of these, great idea and video! I picked up a tip for routing small items (I think from Tamar3x3 but I have shared it and used the technique since) that may work here for the drill press as well and that is an 8 inch hand screw clamp to hold small pieces. The hand clamp acts as a vise and holds the workpiece and you can keep your hands away from blades and bits plus they are wood clamps so they do not mar the work surface.
