I can't thank you enough. I tried to remove the carb and clean, adjust, re clean carb adjust more, , new gas lines....everything on my Crapsman leaf blower. I saw your vid, it took me about 5 mins to remove and clean the exhaust port and have it running full power. I never knew! I wondered why it seemed to lose power over time , just like my last one. I bet that's all it needed too. The exhaust port was choked about 50%. Thanks.
I have cleaned the screen. i will remove the muffler and see if that area is clogged or not tonight. it is still bogging down after cleaning the screen.
I clean the screen but couldnt get the two screws out to scrape the cilinder. I torched the screen and put everything back. Working good again. If happens again will take screen off. Thanks
I'm having similar issue with my echo. I looked at the parts and they are clean. It will idle but when I try to throttle her, she dies. Not sure what else to try. Any advice would help, thanks in advance!
first make sure its new bought today gas. 3 week old gas will make them run funny. there is an adjustment screw this is the same kind of carb and what youll do more than likely youll need a new carb and fuel lines but its worth a shot czcams.com/video/gCwd-4uTHxI/video.html
@@smallengineguys So, when she's idle she's fine, if I open her slowly to about 20% she revs and head does not spin, the moment I go any further, she just dies. I watched you other video, Thanks I give it a try.
the blocked muffler is not always the cause for the bogging down, the reason could be a partially blocked carb as well. where when rev'ed the mix goes lean and hence power loss. taking apart the carb and flushing it will remedy the problem.
first i usually check the plug make sure it isn't wet if it is dry squirt a tiny bit of gas in the carb mouth. hold throttle wide open pull till it fires. if it does and shuts off its the carb if it doesnt check spark and compression.
Why not cut a new piece of screen.. whatever that is made out of, I am sure it can be purchased ... Where are the machinist or metal workers with the info..... Hell, I should be able to find out what that screen is made of
Thanks man, I’ve replaced everything. Was literally fixing to trash this thing. 👍🏻🤘🏻
great work!

Thank you for the video. Now it works great
Great to hear!
Fuel question.
Must I mix fuel or is ethonal free sufficient? If not, should I mix with ethonal free or regular?

Nope. It was a blocked muffler. If it can't exhale it can't inhale.
Mine started up fine and run fine and then when I go to cut it cuts off is this the same remedy to fix that
Possibly. Worth a try. If not then probably carb.
Mine wont even start? should i swap my plug first? or make my fuel richer?
