Thank you for taking the time to make this video and post it. The information was very helpful and I got the power washer up and running. The gas had dried up and left deposits in the jets. My local repair shop wanted at least a hundred dollars and is backed up three weeks to repair so this was very helpful to me!

How do you remove the pull cord cover on this model? It looks like it is kept on place by 4 ribets. Our was it Allen holes that were stripped?

I hit a vine on a tree and my string came out. Now when I put new string through holes and turn the bumper, the string won't wind in, but bumper turns easily. I have the exact same Homelite weed eater. I wonder why string won't wind in and the bumper turns?

I have the same engine on a tiller and I just bought a new carb for it and I can get it to idle but I can't get it to adjust. It goes up and down up and down in rpms and I can adjust that out but when I open throttle it it wants to bog down . I'm about to throw it, I hate carbs on 2 strokes. Correct mixture 40:1 new plug, Ive done ever combo on the pac man screws and fine tune and it still wont run right. Any thoughts? I have the idle perfect but as soon as I touch the other side it sounds like a rev limiter up and down ,up and down I adjust it back perfect idle but when I open throttle it's dies or does the rev limiter shit. Super aggravating

Since the fuel line is on one side of the carb and the primer is on the other, does the primer bulb suction side connect to the carburetor to pull fuel through, or does the discharge side of the primer bulb connect to the carburetor?

So instead of pushing fuel through with the primer, you're suckling it through? Not sure I trust my primer bulb to do that reliably. But good video explaining everything you're doing. .
