This is another one of my epic (and detailed) city guides to Madrid, Spain.
If you have found this video at all helpful, please help me out by sharing this video where you can.
It helps with the CZcams Algorithm showing it to more people! 🙂
This is SO so useful - everything I want in a city guide video! It's so great that you advise on the best travel card option AND show us the full process on the ticket vending machine screens. That's often the bit that catches us out when we travel abroad. Top stuff, thank you Ninh - I'll be checking out your other videos for sure! :)
Thanks very much, I appreciate your kind compliments.
Yes, I try and make sure you know how to get around and what to expect, so that you can focus on having a good time, without the stress of planning it all.
Thanks for checking out my other videos 😀
the best place I've ever been to and this is the best travel channel
Fantastic, thank you very much!

local here, this has to be one of thee most well done tour guide videos out there.
I appreciate that, thank you very much!
Great vid, it shows how much you care about your content and your viewers that you read and respond to every comment. Keep it up Man!
Ah, thank you very much - I appreciate your kind comments! 🙌
It's a labour of love at the moment, with minimal views and subscribers for the amount of effort that I put in.
Hopefully one day these city guides become so popular that I can make a series about them for every major attraction in the world, and be able to fund my travels through CZcams.
One can only dream! 😉
Many thanks for such an informative video. Great guide to Madrid!
Thank you! I'm happy you like this video. Please be sure to check out my channel for more like this 🙏
Seeing this in Madrid. Thanks for the easy way to sort out the attractions by easy and west. So helpful
Great, I'm glad this video helps you out! If you go from left to right on the map, you can see everything that Madrid has to offer without walking or using the Metro a lot. Saves you money and time 🙂

Fantastic video Ninh, Madrid has a lot to see and do. I have really enjoyed all your videos on Madrid.
One day Jason, you'll have to come from your home in Australia to explore all this stuff for yourself!
Spain is a cool country and you'll have an amazing time here. 😀
Thanks once again for your unwavering support! 🙌
Yes hopefully one day!@@UltimateBucketList
Coming to Spain for a month in July and have felt so overwhelmed with what to start with. Thank you. This helped a lot!
You're welcome, I'm glad this helps you plan your trip to Madrid.
I've also got a video on Barcelona if that helps?
But otherwise, enjoy sunny Spain!
@@UltimateBucketList yes! I actually watched that one as well! Thank you
So great to know Madrid via your guide
You're welcome! Hopefully if you come to Madrid - you already know your way around the city and where all the attractions are.
Wonderfully and very helpful and very informative. I love this video very much
Thanks very much, I appreciate your kind comments.
Be sure to help me out by sharing this video on your social media! 🙂
thank for this very informative helpful guide to Madrid. 😊

Your comments are absolutely histerical!😂👍👌...and the travel information is top notch!👌👍💪
Thanks very much, I appreciate that!
Thank you, the best video I've seen on Madrid so far. I'm heading out to address this October. And this video will come in handy. I am also going to spend the day in Toledo
I appreciate that, thank you very much for saying so. 😀
This video took a long time to make, and I'm thankful that someone enjoys my hard work 🙌
I would have loved to have gone to Toledo, but I sadly ran out of time. On my next trip to Madrid, I'll definitely have to spend a day there.
Excellent. Thank you.
You're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed this video. If you're visiting, have an amazing time in Madrid 🙂
Fabulous,like.🇪🇦
Thank you! 👍
Perfect ! The video ticks all the boxes, planning on visiting this summer. wanting a break from the hot indian summer. Great video
I think you'll love Madrid and all the cool attractions here. Thanks for stopping by, be sure to share this video. 😀
@@UltimateBucketList whats the best way to travel between cities in spain ( by train , by buses or should i book a flight in advance ).
planning to visit barcelona also
Specifically between Madrid and Barcelona, you can take a train.
It takes 2.5 hours and it costs about €35.
It's probably the best method to get between the two cities.
@@UltimateBucketList thanks mate !
Madrid was never on my itinery until recently but the more I see of it on these videos and research it, the more it appeals to me, the onky thing it lacks is a river going through the middle of it.
Yes, it's surprisingly a cool place to visit. It's not on the top of anyone's list, but it definitely is worth visiting once in your life. I hope this video inspires you to go! 😀
It does have a river in the middle of the city 😂. The Madrid Rio area is just five minutes south of the royal palace and it is really cool. Check it out czcams.com/video/Koy-ImZC6lM/video.htmlsi=9O7kYfa7cOw2xaBq
Amazing video! 👏 So informative and what a great sense of humour you have! Love the delivery method! Thank you for your time and effort making this awesome video!!! Can’t wait to get lost in Madrid 🤩
Thanks very much! I'm sure you'll have an amazing time out there in Madrid.
Fortunately if you get lost, it's such an easy city to navigate around that you won't be lost for long.
Enjoy your trip!
Thanks for an interesting and informative video! Another European city to add to our list!
Oh definitely! Madrid was a fun city to visit and explore.
Probably come in the spring and summer months (not December like me) and I think the weather will be on your side most of the time.
I hope you come visit!
Great video. Thank you
Glad you liked it - thanks for watching!
Very good succinct overview and appreciate the "tips." Look forward to you doing Barcelona as well
Thanks very much! I already did a video on Barcelona: czcams.com/video/uqtxL7pUqfA/video.html
this video was way better than one I viewed several weeks ago on another site, would now be interested in visiting Madrid, cheers
Fantastic! I'm happy you like this video. I hope this inspired you to come to Madrid. 🙂
looking at either Madrid or Lisbon for 7 day stopover later in the year.
@Briskiwi07 you could do both places in 7 days. There's definitely a lot more to do in Madrid, but Lisbon is worth checking out (I have a video about that too)
very informative. thanks.
Appreciate your kind comments, thanks 😊
magnifique video, merci 🗳
De rien! Je suis content que tu aimes cette vidéo :)
Another great video from you. The standard is so high. You should have your own travel show on a major UK network. Bring Back Holiday or Wish You Were Here...
I would love that!
Nothing would make me happier than being a well-known TV Presenter for a travel programme.
And not having to spend days and weeks editing it myself 😅
Thanks very much! 🙌
Interesting and informative!😀
Thank you very much!
Thanks ❤
You're welcome 😊
Be sure to share this video if you've enjoyed this video :)
Well done , thanx !
I appreciate your kind comments. :)
My dream Spain🙏
I hope you visit one day!
Nice informative video - well done.
Thanks very much! Appreciate your kind comments.
you're welcome - we always enjoy your content. @@UltimateBucketList
Its so detailed
Thanks!
fantasitc vidoe madrid looks amzing i really need to get a passport and travle to these amzing places
Thank you Stuart - Madrid is definitely a place you'd enjoy!
Especially when it's nice weather (which it almost always is) - it's a pretty laid back city that's full of charm and the people like to take life easy - way more chilled out than England.
Get that passport and start ticking things off the list ✔
Fantastic mate! Do you think you'll do a video on the other two teams in Madrid which you havent covered yet?
Thanks bro. And realistically; no videos will be made about Getafe or Rayo Vallecano. The views and shares (a grand total of 2) have been terrible for the videos of the bigger two teams, the smaller two Madrid teams will get next to nothing. Not worth my time to painstakingly film and edit.
I love the churros with the hot chocolate
They are really good at San Gines.
Again, nice video as usual! Leave a like here.
Ninh, from all your tour, which capitol is your favourite? I really like your tour on Rome.
And is Madrid really that expensive? Let say with London? I am planning my tour, and Spain or Portugal is one of my top bucket list, alongside Italy.
Thanks again as always!
I think Rome was one of the better capital cities, for sure.
Madrid isn't that expensive compared to London, but to do absolutely everything - it adds up quickly.
Doing anything at Real Madrid is definitely expensive though.
If you visit Rome, Madrid and Lisbon (another video on my channel) - I think you'll have an amazing time.
Baeutfuile❤
Thank you!
Hi Ninh, I was wondering if the videos about the palaces in Copenhagen and Stockholm are coming out
Hi Gabriel - yes, I've been meaning to do the other Royal Palace videos. Because of my day job, I'm way behind in editing these things. It also doesn't help that I keep going to more places!
I'll try my best to get them done as soon as I can. 👍
Loved your video, just wondering about how you get some of your footage? I have read there are no photos in some places. Is that a hard rule?
Yes, photography is prohibited inside the Royal Palace and strictly forbidden inside Liria Palace. For those bits, I just used their stock footage from their websites.
Hi! I LOVE your videography. A lot of work went into your filming and editing. Excellent job!
How many days would you recommend to be able to visit all the places on your video? Thank you.
Thank you so much! I'm happy you enjoyed this video and hopefully it'll help you plan your next trip to Madrid.
To answer your question: I'd recommend 3 or 4 days to do absolutely everything. Do 5 days if you want to take your time.
I think you'd be bored if you stay 7 days or more.
Hope that helps?
@@UltimateBucketList Thank you! I just checked out your links. Impressive! I sent you a message through your website. Thanks.
@@JV-pd8wg thanks again Judy, I just replied now 🙂
Looks very nice. May have to go there soon! What’s the best place to visit there?
It's definitely a place you'd love to go to! Add this to your bucket list if you have one 😉
The coolest attractions were probably the Royal Palace, the football and just exploring the streets and eating the food.
Even if you didn't do any of the attractions in this video, you'd still probably enjoy it due to the sheer amount of stuff that there is here.
VERY well done & useful video - despite the overuse of the term “iconic.’
Thanks very much.
Didn't think I overused the word 'iconic' though.
EDIT: Okay, maybe you have a point. Didn't realise it was that many times.
@@UltimateBucketList It’s all good. Might even make a good drinking game.

❤
Thanks.
Which Asian country and city would you prefer to go to. Tokyo in Japan or Seoul in Korea?
Good question. Out of the two, I'd probably pick Tokyo just for the sheer craziness and things to do. Then again, I'd happily visit Seoul.
I'm sure I'll make it to both one day?
So how did you get pictures in some of these places where no pictures are allowed?
Just by being stealthy.
Hi can you take videos and photos inside the royale palace?
There are certain parts of the palace where photos and videos are not allowed.
@@UltimateBucketList thank you for the response. Very informational video! Keep it up!
Task 10
Why is there a Madrid British airways 747?
1:33
It's just stock footage.
We've been to the Mediterranean but not to Madrid Spain .
I hope you get to go one day!
Where do you prefer? Madrid or Barcelona
That's an excellent question!
Given that they're both large Spanish Cities, you'd think they'd be similar but they're totally different.
I personally preferred Madrid, it was easier to get around, it felt safer and I preferred the attractions. But Barcelona wasn't bad at all.
I'd say visit both, but if you only had to pick one, go to Madrid.
Years ago in madrid you could go to a bullfight and later on that day visit a restaurant and feast the parts of the bulls thst had been killed. Went down well with the local red wines.
Yes I believe so. I'm not sure if that still happens or not?
Don't worry about thats
Okay?
How hot was it there?
During winter, it's about 9°C during the day. In the summer, it's blisteringly hot and can get up to 42°C.
@@UltimateBucketList good God, that's a scorcher
Come to Africa
I've been to Tunisia last year, but that's the only African country I've been to so far.
Madrid is amazing, but Barcelona is way better. Fancier streets, La Boqueria >>>>> Mercado de San Miguel, La Sagrada Familia >>>>>>>> Almuneda Cathedral, and, of course, beaches!!!
I actually preferred Madrid personally.
I just felt that it was a lot easier to get around, a lot less cramped in general (except for the Madrid Metro, that can be painful at times) and the attractions were a lot more interesting. Plus it felt safer and I wasn't fighting off pickpockets here.
The Sagrada Familia was epic though - I've never seen a church that colourful. I'd go back just to see that again.
Another great city guide. No sympathy from me when bullfighters get gouged though🤬
Well, that makes two of us. But I at least understand why they do it now.
Thanks.
I’m already running from india to catch a flight to uk and espana😭😭
I think you'll enjoy Madrid.
Are the food that you have tried and the churris with the hot chocolate halal in Madrid? 😀😃😊🙂 I am a muslim.😃😀🙂😊
I assume so? They don't contain any meat based products.
@@UltimateBucketListThe fried calamari as a sandwich too is also my favourite.
@@YasinZayan-Rashid109 I think you'll love the food there.
Im actually not planning to go but when Allah gives me the money and my heart from Allah swt desires inshallah i will go on holiday to madrid inshallah.❤
I watch all your videos.
Can you do more sports videos
Id love to, but my last 4 videos were sports videos, and they're all flaming out (barely any views) so the motivation to make more isn't there right now.
@@UltimateBucketList I know but everyone is wonder where you are
Indian summer😭😭😭😭
Yes.
I would never go to Madrid as a tourist, because the law allows pickpockets get away with it
Sadly pickpockets are a problem everywhere these days.
