In Detroit, the game adapts to the choices you make and the story is tailored by how you play. One situation could have many outcomes, but it's only up to you which one you'll get. The game is basically like an interactive movie and barely require any input from the player, so I guess even you could handle it.

Detroit become human is a scenario based decision game where you play as multiple different protagonists. It really parallels the civil rights protests of the 60s in America where a segregated or possible subservient race of beings wants to be treated equal due to an emotional glitch in the programming thus being sentient. As you progress through the story, the way the NPCs treat you may be different due to another protagonists decisions and all of them have a different path in the game as a rights activist, one who is compliant to the status quo, and the other who is a bystander just looking for a better life like the underground railroad sort of deal in the 1800s

@@HannaHsOverInvested It's a bit more involved than just "choose option A, B or C". Mostly it's dialog choices as you see in this trailer, but you still need to explore and discover the evidence (or what ever it may be depending on situation) to even have those dialog options available to you. And sometimes it's more direct action like a chase scene where you have to run and/or avoid obstacles and whether you mess it up or not decides the outcome. You also follow three different androids (Connor being one) and their stories converge at the end.
Technically there is no "redo" and you're supposed to go with what you chose... But it is a game afterall so you can if you want to or are unhappy with how something went down.

Even though it is called Far Cry 6, it has a different story that the previous games. Though all the games take place in the same universe so they might make references to each other in game. The Far Cry series is known for having a lot of insane characters and antagonists. One of my favorite antagonists in video games in Vaas from Far Cry 3. There is a cinematic scene from the game where Vaas monologues on the Definition of Insanity. They even made a live action youtube series with the character Vaas and Chris Mintz-Plasse (McLovin from Superbad).

"I'm not a gamer so I won't know the rest of the story."
It's never too late to start. Just reach out ... and pull out your wallet for a decent next-gen pc or console.
Detroit become human is like an interactive movie. You get some scene / area. What you do or do not do in a given scene will be more or less dependent on what happens next. In the game you follow the fate of 3 androids. The super advanced Connor investigating the rebel androids. Kara that has been abused by its owner. And Marcus, who leads the Resistance. For this there is also an android that greets us on the menu and whose behavior changes with the way we run the story.
A very exciting game. Although there are people who complain about its one-dimensionality. In many media related to AI, we are asked "can a computer be a human". And the answer is often not given. And in this game it is clearly outlined.

@@HannaHsOverInvested If you ever do let us WoW players know as I think that may be something you might find interest in given the trailers. You also don't need a high end pc to run WoW.
If you get the interest though I would suggest waiting until Shadow Lands drops, near November likely, as they fix the levelling process. Currently new players run from lvl 1 to 120 which is slow and daunting enough but you also currently run haphazardly through old content about 10 lvl at a time until you hit the current expansion, BFA, never getting much story and being very confused lore wise.
When Shadow Lands drops it will be lvl 1 to 60. After lvl 1-10 which have a new levelling experience teaching you the game, you then as a new player run the current expansion of Battle For Azeroth to learn the story leading into Shadow Lands which you run at lvl 50-60. However any new characters you make after that may choose any of the old expansions (I can finally run Pandaria) and may run lvl 10 to 50 in that expansion instead of BFA learning all the story arcs and quests you missed by missing that expansion.
They also have a great new recruit a friend system so if you ever want to join pick a friend currently playing or someone cool you know plays and you get a bunch of perks together with the perks lasting a full year if you stay subscribed.

Apex: there indeed are continuation trailers (all on the list btw 😬 and all very good. Thanks to whoever recommended them, I haven't seen them before and I enjoyed them a lot, almost to the point of wanting to try the game).
Detroit: there's no way of losing in that game, so regardless of your choice the story carries on. And all the important choices you've made - right, wrong or in between - pile up and eventually dictate how the story ends.
Games from the studio that created Detroit: Almost Human are the only games I can recommend you playing since their focus is solely on the story. Gameplay is not even a secondary element of the game and it's very simplified. Best story without question is Heavy Rain (my son's mom played it twice and she hates videogames).
Stray: so far we know very little about the game but the fact that you're in a world where human went extinct and that you control the cat - which makes it very unique.
That Far Cry trailer is something else imo, so tense from the moment the grenade is in the hands of the boy.
Ubisoft is knocking out their trailers out of the park lately. They have two important studios in Canada btw, one in Montreal and another in Toronto.

There's only one way you may live, you have to become a Far Cry from who you thought you were, pushed to the edge, having to make choices you don't want to be have to if you want to survive. Most story sections of the game are full of the stress you felt while watching the trailer, you never know who's you're friends are in those games or who's using you to climb up so every convo is guessing if they will try to kill you.

Far Cry Games in a Nutshell: You play as a character that's isolated in an unknown location and you have to either topple the government that is in control and rescues your allies.
Far Cry 3 is when it got really good the plot revolves around Jason Brody and his friends, rich kid American tourists who arrive on an unmarked set of islands in the Pacific and are abducted by pirates who lay claim to the land, led by the insane Vaas and Hoyt a dangerous South African Crime Lord. Jason escapes after his older brother is killed in front of him and must learn the ways of the jungle to survive and rescue his friends before they are sold into trafficking by working with the rebels led by the sister of Vaas named Citra.
As the saying goes "Fight not with monsters less you wish to become one yourself"
As the story goes on Jason soon matures into a fearsome and skilled warrior and, revered by the rebels, begins to enjoy all the killing while growing more distant from his friends. When you get to the end of the game you have two choices
A: Kill your friends and stay on the island, get Citra pregnant, and then she kills you.
B: Jason freeing his friends will result in him leaving the island, despite Citra begging him to stay. An outraged ally named Dennis tries to stab Jason, inadvertently stabbing Citra as she jumps in front of Jason; she proclaims her love for Jason as she dies in his arms, Jason and his friends then leave the island by boat, with Jason narrating that despite becoming a monster from all the killing, he still believes that in some place in his heart he is better than this.
Far Cry 4: The game is set in the fictional country of Kyrat in the Himalayas region, ruled by a despotic self-appointed king named Pagan Min. YOU The protagonist, Ajay Ghale, is caught in a war and has to overthrow Min, when he is instructed by his late mother to travel again, from the U.S. to his homeland to spread her ashes there. This game while it is good, the endings suck because they are terrible choices. Either the country becomes a drug country with child soldiers, OR it becomes an isolationist nation.
Far Cry 5: Set in Montana where a Doomsday Christian Cult has taken over the town. The player takes on the role of a sheriff's deputy who becomes entangled in a violent conflict between a doomsday cult called Eden's Gate led by "The Father" Joseph Seed and his siblings, and the resisting residents of Hope County who have seen their friends and family taken or killed by the cult.
Far Cry 6: Set in a fictional country that's basically Cuba. Your fighting against a dictator.

If you've ever watched/played Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, it's pretty similar, just more interactive. You make choices as you play through, but the more investigation you put in and the different choices you make with interaction affects how things progress. David Cage of Quantic Dreams constantly makes these cinematic games/universes (Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy, Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, etc.) that offer a lot of replayability, especially in the games with multiple playable characters who can live or die.

It's all about the separate stories of three android protagonists whose stories eventually merge, but every decision you make can have anywhere from minor to extreme consequences in how they merge and how the overall story plays out. In its entirety, its an allegory about civil rights and equality, and while it can be a bit tone-deaf at times, I've enjoyed the few playthroughs I've had. It explores a lot of issues both regarding AI intelligence and human morality. Hello Hannah, I hope this clears your doubt, Revenant used to be the best hitman the Syndicate had, until he eventually got killed on job. They brought back his brain as a simulacrum, basically a robot controlled by a human conscious, but they reprogrammed him so he didn't know he ever died. Every time his robot body dies, they wipe his memory and bring him back in a NEW robot body. When he got the glass caught in his neck, every death he ever experienced over 280 years as a simulacrum came rushing back to him in one single moment.
P.S : Your smile is really contagious :D

Oh yeah, that Apex Legend trailer is (sorta) expanded upon with the Season 5 trailer, although that one doesn't really have a conclusion. It follows up with the now orphaned girl, Loba. The Season 6 trailer doesn't have anything to do with either of these other stories though, and the Season 7 trailer is fun to watch if nothing else. What I really recommend is the "Voidwalker" cinematic from Apex Legends, it's great, and also self contained enough that you should understand what is happening by the end of it without context.

Even if u do what is best for the masses the ppl may yet hate u for it becouse of what u hade to do to keep the country running. 1 more subtle thing is that what he is saying and what the trailer is showing is conflicting with eachother. The trailer shows him as this evil power hungry dictator as the ppl trying to take him down. But what he is saying is the opposite. The country is on the brink of collapse and instead of telling the kid to use force to solve it he is saying to contain it so it dosent blow up. He is saying throw the grenade and be the monster the ppl think he is. Or hold the grenade tight and do what must be done for the country despite that the ppl will hate him for it.

Hello from Czech Republic. I am fan of games and know all of them from video, but i am big fan of Apex Legends and always was interested in lore (story in background), so i am going to write somehing about Apex Legends. Apex is just simple game, which is called Battle Royale, in these game such as Fortnite, Call of Duty Warzone, etc are games, that put a bunch of players on map with no equipment and last man/team standing is going to win game, when you trying to find better stuff to win easily. ThatÂŽs it, games are different use different machanics, etc and i have my reasons why i like Apex Legend, but there is few thing that are nice about this game and one of it, which i think you are interested is lore, or story. At first look the game is about just killing each other in arena, but developers always hidding a lore or story into trailers, loading screen or their website, which start to be a really big. The story is connected to Tintan Fall game story, which i didnt play, but simply its about 2 fractions, that were waring over bunch of planets and you, as player were a Titan pilot, which are big combat mechs. In Apex Legends war is over and most of places where fighting take a place is sacked and ruined. After war in Outlands which is lands that is destroyed by war, were created Apex Games, which have same princip as people play in game. First it was a Blodsport of surviving the fittest, but later itÂŽs change into a show something like Hunger games. People are not acually dying in games but are somehow after they are healed in some "respawn chambers". So its something like Gladiator fihgts whitout a real dying of competitors. Game its currently in season 5 soon season 6. Every seasosn they add other legend in games. Every legends have their own different story and reason for joining the games. There are now 13 legends and one is coming in next week. Durring the seasons, they add story, how legends are connected to it, creating theories and other stuff and giving somewhere thats now shown in game, such as loading screen, their website, trailer, and other.
Very interesting videos are stories from OutLands: where is short/long backsttory to characters: czcams.com/video/BvEJ4BXV9xs/video.html
(Not all are good for telling story, for someone who never know about apex, so its up to you if you are going to look at them.
I liked long one such as Voidwalk Wraith about senior pilot, that lost memory and can travel through dimensions,
The Old Ways is about Bloodhound. His/Her parents die in explosion of Epiccenter and was raised by his uncle in clan that dislikes technology and living in some ways like vikings,
other are something like inroducing characters
first one is about Natalie (Wattson), which build technology behind Apex Games and circle and was raised in arena,
Fover Family is about Crypto, ones employee and broadcaster of games, now hidding hacker,
Up Close na Personal is about Forge legends that should joined games but get murdered, but there is a theories, that the guy that was killed was just his double because he looks different in game posters, he was acually killed by Revenant same robot in video,
Legacy of Thief is about Loba a little child from video that becomes like her Father a great well known Thief
and last one is 2,3 days old is about Rampart which we dont know a lot about, but its a very skillfull a gun-modifier, that fights in Gauntlet Rounds, so its up to you to chose or do all)
A litte about characters in video:
Revenant - its robot in the video. He is Simulacrum the human mind inserted into machine, where is head saved with i gues some lifesupport and source code is inserted to simulate how it is going to behive. In human form he was hitman i think and in robot also. Hammond robotics created everything and give to organization called Syndicate to killed anything that stands in they way. Revenant was first created Simulacrum and served 280 years of listing a killing targets. He was program to see himself as human being. But one day, in trailer there glitch happening and he realize who he is reall and take revenge into Hammond robotics an Syndicate. He join Apex Games same seasons as trailer in video is introduce him. Every time Simulacrum die i gues it spawn somewhere in facility with new body and fleshed memory. Simulacrum is very expesive a deadly program, that is known in world. This season 5 there was guest about Broken Ghost where legends went into alter dimension where Reventant acually enslave Kings Canyon and turning all legends into shadows. In end you bring all part of Broken Ghost and deliver it to spot where Hammond Robotics tell and you discover that there were reparing other Simulacrum that should replace Revenant call As, which is also able to pilot Titans.
A for Revenant in game with mechanincs and some line is this: czcams.com/video/mBc5W96BYNE/video.html
Loba - its a little girl in video, she grow up in adoptive family and same as her father going down the road as thief. Not much know in background but she is excelet well know thief. One she is told that Revenant joins the game so she is going after him for revenge. Now i try explain about quest and last season things. Loba have meeting with someone in Hammond robotics. They give her coordinates to undeground facility, where Revenants head and source code is located, because only thing how to kill Revenant is source code. She go there, lost temper a shoot Reventants head behind protective glass, that cause teleportaintion into other facility somewhere on Olympus, which seems to be a new season planet from which they are 2 legends and their famalies, which they dislike because they profit our of war crimes (Octane guy with robotics leg and Lifeline combat medic). Facility is then blowen up. Loba try to conntact again Hammond robotics and trying to get location for new facility, but they first want to put together other Simulacrum call Ash and create her lost head, for replacment for Revenant. Loba care about only revange to Revenant. At end of quest in this season Loba and Revanant go to face to face meet up, where Revenant acually want to help Loba to finally put him into rest, because he is already tired of dying over and over. In his system there is bug, which cause he is remebering all of his deaths in last 300 years as hitman assassin for Syndycate. He is scared or really dont want to die over and over again so he decided to help her on her hunt for his head. He said he wanted already get some information about place of his head, but him programing dont allow do harm or destroy his source code, so someone else have to do this. Story end so far when Octane and Lifeline talking how Octane dont want to get his family and parents. Hard to say why, but thats when this season end storywise Also we dont know if revenants is just playing with Loba and really want to die, but that is all in future of Apex the game that si only multiplayer fun game where players fighting in Apex Gamesm but is telled a complex story in background of these big universe.
    Loba game trailer: czcams.com/video/iRzZGQEPwY4/video.html
Good launch trailers that is a little about characters, that i think are fun sorted how they where realesed from last to first:
    Season 6: (Week old) czcams.com/video/qzdGo7FBndA/video.html - Legend - Rampart
Season 5: (Kind of interesting trailer if you want to know a litlte continuetions of that trailer that you watched is this): czcams.com/video/lwp429eqER4/video.html - Legend - Loba
Season 4: (Its one in your video) Legend - Revenant
Season 3: (New map, new planet) czcams.com/video/NEAWC9eK1Ts/video.html Legend - Crypto
Season 2: (Old map Kings Canyon) czcams.com/video/ThSKocfe5QE/video.html Legend - Wattson

Each decision has an effect that will decide later decisions in the game and ultimately which ending you would get. Basically Detroit is about a world where humans and androids live together. Androids are meant to serve humans but there have been more and more cases where androids have become sentient, and ignoring their programming. There are 3 characters you play as simultaneously in the game, each one playing an integral part of the stories ending. Connor, the android who you see in the trailer, hunts these sentient androids (called deviants) and must figure out why these robots are... becoming human (see wut I did there :) )

@@HannaHsOverInvested you respond a lot like she did. I helped her establish her inner-nerd. I encouraged her to do a 'Reaction Tube, or just get her ideas out. But, she bottled a lot of them up. So, in a way, you are accomplishing what she never got to. Its one of the things I enjoy about your reactions.
But, not just games, movies, books, history, social norms, etc. Keep it up Hannah!

If you ever have a boatload of time and want some incredible game cinematics, I would suggest this: czcams.com/video/edSI2F-PTuE/video.html It's a compilation of all "The Elder Scrolls Online" cinematics (about 40-ish minutes long, so it might not be workable all at once) Even if one-shotting the entire lot of them isn't gonna work, I'd still suggest the ESO Cinematics individually. They're pretty fantastic.

ou fuck! The Farcry one was intense but I hate cliffhangers! XI
Detroid Become Human is an amazing game and I am pretty sure you'd find the story interesting. This trailer basically showes you how different the story can turn out based on your decision in the game. The prototype trailer for the game was emotionally INTENSE! I feel like you should watch it! (czcams.com/video/j-pF56-ZYkY/video.html). Also just watching a gameplay of this game could beinteresting, sinc eit plays like a movie (but of course you will only see the story the person playing made with their decisions :3)

You would be disappointed even if you did play Farcry. They're always downer endings that's basically a crap sandwich unless you choose not to play the game at the first cutscene.
    Farcry Blooddragon is great, though.
