The fact that he immediately wants everyone on his team to be able to get a license and share his aircraft is admirable. I can't imagine having a boss that wants to do this for his people. Friends or not, Garrett is a class act.
Yes, a great team. Hopefully everyone remembers that it is his channel, and they ultimately work for him. I think he treats them right, and they enjoy coming to work each day. Who wouldn't love to work for Cleetus with how he treats everyone. Working when it is more like hanging out with friends, working on all sorts of projects, having fun.

Cleetus, you never cease to amaze me. I've been a pilot for nearly 30 years now, and I can say it takes a special kind of person to commit to the lifestyle. You have got to be sharp, serious, always learning, humble, analytical, physically and mentally fit, always thinking ahead, fearless yet respectful. It also takes a financial commitment. There are less than 1% of the population who are licensed pilots. I can see the joy flying brings to you, and the fact that you want to give that joy to your crew speaks volumes as to your character as a man. You really are leading by example. I could not be more impressed. Thank you for making this world a better place.
5 Years from now Cleetus and Crew will all be flying planes in formation over the Freedom Factory at every event there.

I’ve bought tons of merch, have watched every video since the turbo whistle days, and I still don’t feel like I’m supporting enough. You’re a good man, Garrett. Not only a man passionate in chasing what he wants, but he also leaves tons of support for anyone who wants to follow in his footsteps. The Cleetus team is the pinnacle of humble wins.
Man Garret is the most humble genuine human being out there, he just shares and wants his friends to have the fun as well. Why isn't everybody like that, world would be such a good place..

I’m a student pilot, very enamored with bush planes. I was at the drag strip in February, saw you practicing STOL stuff. Walked over & met Alan, asked what brand the plane was & if it was ok if I watched for a bit. Had no idea who was flying it, so pretty cool seeing you flying the same approach in this video. Enjoy it man!!!

Welcome to the world of Cubbin’! I own an original Piper J3 Cub. Of course, your Carbon Cub is a lot higher performance with nearly 3 times the horsepower as my 65hp and you also have flaps. As for content, fun things to do with a Cub are flour bombing, pumpkin drops, and toilet paper cutting. I’ll be looking forward to what you do with all that!

CUB, gotta be the most fun flying! My first flight was a week before I started flight school at NAS Pensacola, a classmate had a 1947(?) cub. It took off like a helicopter in a 25 knot headwind.
Cleetus is such an animal. Pilot licensing is no joke and he’s managed to pull that off as well as all the other stuff. That’s really impressive. The fact he’s involved with Mike Patey has now made all my CZcams crossover dreams come true!

Flying isn't that bad, especially in ultralight planes. The instrumentation part is the worst of it. Helicopter are the hard ones to learn to fly, and in turn hurt more people.

" Monthly Man-Date's " . Once a month, you and one of the boys from the shop fly out to a different city / town near you for a standard vlog style video + the plane. Go grab lunch or shred go carts , go fishing! But incorporate the plane!
Cletus, don’t worry about that landing, it was a pretty steep AOA so I’m glad you landed safely. There wasn’t too much space that I see on ForeFlight ~600 ft and the power lines looked to be tall, maybe 100 ft. So a 6 to 1 slope for descent. You handled it like a champ

Seeing now though everything you have done to prepare for this day, not rushing in to anything, and taking all the necessary steps to achieve your goals.... so awesome to see. It's Florida everyone flies if they can afford to. Grew up in south Florida and you'd see small planes flying around every 30 minutes. I imagine these days the skies are busier

Congrats on the new Carbon Cub!! I used to fly w/ a friend who owned an original CUB, though I am not a pilot, he would either put me in the front seat when we went flying ( he would fly it from the back seat) or of course while I sat in the back he would fly it from the front. Good times. My only concern out there by the Drag Way and Freedom Factory is (which every pilot is trained for) is SITUATIONAL AWARENESS, near those monster power lines along RT.64 !!!!!! Have Fun !!
I think the sky is literally the limit with this Carbon Cub over the Ripsaw. Things like win a flight around Freedom Factory. Aerial shots of events. Target drops. And on and on! Gonna be neat to see what you all come up with! But man brother, get a hangar built pronto! Congrats!

If you end up building a shop for it, look into a powerlift door for it. They can build it to any size you need. There is already one in Florida that is 131 feet wide. The local distributor may be interested in some kind of sponsored deal

Yup. This is literally the only channel that if I see a new video is uploaded, I will stop what I am doing to watch it because all their videos are awesome. Plus, all the guys on the channel are super cool and super funny, especially George.

I respect you for taking it seriously and only showing us when you were confident you could do so safely. At every possible turn Cleetus shows how good of a person he truly is. Always lifting the team up and giving honest credit and support to his guys is top notch. I do not know much about airplanes or aviation in general but seeing how excited George was to be flying a plane and seeing Cleet sharing experiences like that with his crew is something that cant be replaced.
Well said, it would be so easy to hate on the kind of success he's had, but the way he treats people around just makes it fun to watch.
Hope to see it at Oshkosh! That would be a good adventure for you. My son owns a PA22/20 (I-320) and a RV-4 (3 axis auto pilot, IFR, IO360/CS) we have flown both from Bakersfield to Oshkosh and back. My new daughter, son's wife :), is getting her lessons now. Son is CFI.
You should fly up to Maine this summer and come to the Loring Timing Association speed runs in Limestone Maine. We would love to have you and you have a place to stay. Love the plane, Raptor R, McFlurry, and all the content!

yasss, we had one in alaska we bought off the state troopers....had everything minus the badge and you would laugh seeing the people scram seeing us flying into the village for me and pilot to jump out. So stoked you got to experience these they're the coolest thing out there hands down

I remember being at my grandparents house in the corner by the heater building a Lego set I got the day before for Christmas when the very first video announcing he bought the freedom factory was released. I was so excited. That was 3 (ish) years ago. I feel like a senior when I say this, but where did the time go?
