WWF / WWE Wrestlemania, the biggest show of the year, is usally a place where rivalries get settled and big matches take place. There have been some great WrestleMania events throughout the years with most fans thinking WrestleMania X-7 is the greatest of all time, but I decided to poll channel viewers to see which Mania show my audience thought was the greatest of all time.
This video looks at the WrestleMania events that YOU selected as the best. WrestleMania X, for example, was selected as a favourite thanks to the brilliant Ladder Match pitting Shawn Michaels against Razor Ramon and the superb opening match with Bret Hart and Owen Hart, WrestleMania XIX was also selected as a fan favourite due to every match delivering in the ring, and WrestleMania III was chosen as a favourite due to the importance of Hulk Hogan vs Andre The Giant (maybe the first ever WrestleMania "moment").

I was at Wrestlemania 21. Fulfilled a childhood dream. One of the greatest memories I have.
I feel ya was at WM 39
Me too! Seeing Shawn vs Kurt live AND being at my first WM was too epic!
Prove it
Same but mines was 23 … Taker vs Batista was a decent rivalry
Big timeeeee
I've never been a Hogan fan, but I do love that moment when the crowd cheers for him and you can see the shock on his face. It's a great moment.
Watching WWE now makes it easy to forget they were at one time capable of pumping out 5 of the best WrestleManias all back to back 5 years in a row
Lost themselves in agenda pushing and the money
When was this?
@@brianadkins3880 17,18,19,20 and 21 I assume,I think 22 and 23 were good aswell
I haven't seen a wrestlemania since Wrestlemania 13
@All American Wrestling start with 14, it's a solid show. And go forward from there.
WM6 will forever reign supreme in my heart. I was 8 and watching Hogan and Warrior square off was just absolutely epic. Then just a few months later Sting also won his first world title in WCW and both of these moments were absolute highlights of my childhood as a die hard wrestling fan at this time. This was just a great era for true wrestling fans.
1990 was a very significant year
them blade runners
Pretty good ranking. Personally I voted 31, the most solid Mania of the modern era. A lot of iconic moments and otherwise solid matches. Rollins' cash in, the Intercontinental Ladder, HHH vs Sting, Cena vs Rusev, Orton vs Rollins, even the kickoff matches were great.
Well said
And let me say, I seen every wrestlemania from 1985 until today and let me say, they’ve created so many memories. Through my childhood, teens, early adulthood until now. I’m 48 in case you’re wondering.
Me too seen them all and I'm 59,wrestlemania is always special.
Yup, me too. 61 yo here
@@TypeRob glad us golden aged fans are still watching! Should form our own faction!
WM 14 will always be #1 in my books. It was the first PPV I ever got to watch when my parents let me rent it from the local video store. Undertaker vs Kane, L.O.D return, and Austin wins the title. What a show!
My favorite as well my dad took me to his friends house from work to watch the ppv and it felt so big. It was amazing.
Nostalgia talking lol
@@SammyNail I'll take nostalgia any day of the week over the majority of stuff that gets made today that generates zero feelings of emotion (and that goes way beyond wrestling).
@@travisgowen5044 thank you. Actual emotion over a few flips any day.
The VHS I used to have in the 2000s always ended on WM14
Sentimental favourite is 6 (my first) but WM X7 just had it all. Almost all the matches were awesome and Austin's heel turn was shocking at the time despite how it panned out.
Simply amazing that you got 4000 votes for your vid.
There's been serious sociological studies with a fewer sample size than that.
This is a testament to how amazing your channel is and if you ever get doubtful about what you're doing, please try to remember this.
Said it before but this is THE best wrestling channel on the internet. Can't wait for Thursday!

I think not.

20 and 21 are absolute classics. Love both of them
exactly. especially for in ring action
I love 22-24 as well, to me they are just as classical.
22-23 was good
I was at 17, what an amazing atmosphere. The whole crowd was still cheering for Austin, even after the heel turn.
Long live the Astrodome
WM 17-21. What a run that was.
Wrestlemania 3, 10, and 13 will always be my favorites
Why 13?
@Bobby Lawson the "blood on the stone" match and it was the first ppv I personally bought with my own money from my first job.
WM X classic.
13 has probably the best match of all time so I can definitely see that alone making it your fav, but outside of that it does have some simple to fun matches imo.
@@EssexAggiegrad2011Bret Hart vs Stone Cold I'm guessing
Always love these vids from Wrestling Bios! Idk how you have the time to continually deliver excellent content! Obviously you have the jam!
My favourite WM is WM6. Only because its the first one I watched, as a young fan of the WWF. I'd started watching the WWF in 1989, Summerslam was the first show I watched, thanks to my mate, and also next door neighbour, taping it for me. His parents got Sky Television when it first came out in February 1989 here in England and we were able to watch the WWF on Sky One.
I'm partial to WrestleMania 19 because I was there, floor seats. But I gotta tell ya: It was COLD. And I've lived in the Seattle area most of my life. The stadium looked good on-camera but it was a little chilly that night.
Best wrestling quality and roster depth of any mania
Even though it wasn't my vote I really expected WM8 to be on the list. The star power alone (whether officially on the card or simply appearing) was incredible. Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Ric Flair, Randy Savage, Undertaker, Jake the Snake, Bret Hart, Roddy Piper, LOD, Million Dollar Man, Shawn Michaels (first singles match at WM), Owen Hart and I'm sure there's probably 1 or 2 guys I'm forgetting.
Same. It was truly the end of the great Golden Era (at least in my book). While not the greatest WM, I'll always look upon WM8 the most nostalgically.
@@Hausbrauenit was already in general.
@@lexkanyima2195 Nah. From a fan's perspective (which was all of us watching back then), most agree the WWF Golden Era ended sometime within 1992 or 1993. Ultimately, it's entirely subjective when exactly around that time it ended.
@@rowenpugner3872 1992 in terms of era, not just Wrestling
@@lexkanyima2195 Somewhat I agree with you, though I'd place it around early 1993.
3, I kind of grew out of wrestling in 1989 I was becoming a teenager, I got into music and partying lol. But I used watch it here and there in the 90s nothing like when I was a kid though.
I liked Wrestlmania 4 personally. Randy Savage getting his day during the Hogan Era.
My personal favourites were Wrestlemania 6 and Wrestlemania 8.
I'm an old school WWF fan, just loved that era.
Bang on. 5, 6, 7, 8 are the best for me.
@@ZBR_ProXP I also really enjoyed Wrestlemania 9 despite absolutely spitting at the screen because of the way it obviously ended.
Agreed 100%. While I don't think it was "the best" one, WM8 was the end of the Golden Era (at least in my book), and I was never more into wrestling than I was around that time. Despite its low points, between its many highs, one of the most iconic rosters of all time, and the legendary commentary team being Heenan and Monsoon in top form, it'll always be my favorite on a personal level.
@@Hausbrauen I also really liked WrestleMania 9, despite THAT ending.
For a few matches only, WrestleMania 10 was also good for what it was.
I guess the main takeaway here is that no WrestleMania had ever been perfect, you just have to go for the ones that had either a brilliant novelty for a theme that year or atmosphere, or just had one or two of the best matches out of an otherwise mediocre card.
For commentators alone, the era was the best
I attended WMX7 as a kid for my birthday. One of the best moments of my young life and even better in hindsight when learning that the Hardcore Match almost caused a power-outage while I was away from my dad to go to a concession stand. That would’ve been “fun”
I would sue my parents if they took me to that shitty event

But 17 was the first one I got to order live so it has the spot for me. The only thing that would have made it better is if Austin stunned McMahon at the end too.

Now with both gone all I remember all the laughs and arguments we have pure fun and being amazed by the awesomeness of wrestling
I have to say. The Austin heel turn Wass even more unexpected and jawdropping at the time than the end of the streak
No it was not unexpected it was painfully obvious that he was turning heel one of the many reasons I hate x7
@@reddhead2948 well I was pretty young and not all that wised up. Like at the event I could see it coming and I was gutted but wow it had a reaction

WRESTLEMANIA 8 IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE WRESTLEMANIA 😍 ❤️
Same! While I don't think it was "the best" one, WM8 was the end of the Golden Era (at least in my book), and I was never more into wrestling than I was around that time. wm 17 and 19 are my favourites
I was born on March 28th, 84. Wrestlemania literally aged with me since the show is always around that day. With that said, the only one I remember falling on my bday was Austin Rock 1. I was so mad when Rock lost but nothing, nothing will ever disappoint me more than Warrior Hogan. That shht ruined my entire year. To this day, I still can't believe Warrior won.
We have the same exact birthday. I'm just a year older than you and I agree. I'm still messed up over my favorite wrestler Hulk Hogan losing to the Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania 6.
Just what I needed, an episode of wrestling bios .
Mania 6 will always be my favourite of all time. It was also my first ever WWF PPV.
17 and 21 tied second and 27 in third.
Agreed. WM6 was the first WM I watched and 4th PPV altogether at the time. The first was Summerslam 1989. Good choices with 17 and 21 as well.
@@mrkipling2201 thanks. I think having Jesse Ventura and Gorilla Monsoon on commentary was a big part of why I consider the show my favourite.
@@dafneorlow agreed. I only used to watch Primetime Wrestling for Bobby Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon. The 2 of them together were hilarious!!
17 is such a bittersweet, landmark show in wrestling for me. Really was the big finale to the biggest era we're ever going to see in that industry. I'm so grateful to have lived through that time.
I voted for 17. But I was at 17 and 19 at 10 and 12 years old. I saw Austin vs Rock twice. The classic TLC match at 17. Brock and Kurt at 19. To this day those 2 days are still 2 of the greatest days of my life.
The My Way package itself is better than a dozen or so Wrestlemanias. Go watch it. You’ll get chills like you’re watching it for the first time. Kind of sad though because while it makes me feel how I felt watching it back then, how I felt back then was that things were winding down and it couldn’t get better than this.
Wrestlemania 3 takes the top spot for me, but 6, 10, 18, and 30 were great too. Hulk vs Andre. Steamboat vs. Macho Man. Both unbelievable. Warrior beating Hulk clean...didn't see that coming. Razor and Shawn Michaels's ladder match changed the landscape forever. Hulk vs Rock still gives me goosebumps. Daniel Bryan winning the title reminded me why I got into wrestling in the first place. And of course the end of the streak. Again, goosebumps.
The only thing I didn’t like at WrestleMania 17 was Stone Cold turning heel. It kinda ruined it for me a little bit. Overall I thought it was a good show though.
same here
Yeah. It loses points with me for that alone.
I gotta go with 17, 20, and 21.
I legit can't decide between 17 & 19, I used a coin flip to decide my pick which ended up on 17.
"the last episode of reliving the war" are sad words, it's gonna suck when the series ends. ☹️
I stopped watching the series because i want to watch those episodes unspoiled
WrestleMania 17 is obviously the greatest one ever, but I have to go with my personal favorite which is WrestleMania 19 with Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar main eventing. That card was stacked for the ruthless aggression era of the company.
Yes please do this with other events, Summerslam, Royal Rumble and Survivor Series are musts. You have 10 options for King of the Ring. Even some of the B events have long and interesting histories. Unforgiven, No Mercy, Backlash, Judgment Day, Vengeance among others have happened many times and the results can be truly amazing. I have always loved most of Vengeance 2005 for example.
Wrestlemania 17 was the last PPV I watched as a kid... My time with WWE was over after that... IDK if it was Austin teaming with McMahon or me just growing out of it but anyways, awesome video as always bro.
I feel like mania 37, 38 and 39 are all great shows so it sucks that those weren’t voted as high but it is what it is
18:20 Spot on. Something about the way Austin conducted himself in the ring, including his facial expressions and body language, was unusual. Looking back, it really reflects his own acceptance towards the end of an illustrious career.
It is truly sad that because of how is life ended so many people forget how fantastic and remarkable the career of Chris Benoit was. He was undeniably one of the greatest pure technical wrestlers to ever lace up the boots, although it is understandable that WWE doesn’t want to mention him anymore.
Very talented murder. No offense.
I really enjoyed his match with Brett Hart
@@OldMovieRob He had memorable matches with Chris Jericho and Kurt angel and Bret . I was watching vengeance last night 2001 and great match he had. He made it look like a real fight. But we have the elephant in the room. I'm glad his matches are still there but what he did is .... Anyways
I don't see why people have a hard time understanding that he wasn't a murderer for his entire wrestling career. He never wrestled after what he did
Remarkable debatable. He was a Midcard guy for 20 of his 22 years in wrestling. He was a great technical wrestler but he wasn’t a great talker.
Wrestlemania 20 was my very first wrestlemania experience so I'm happy to see so many others loved it as much as I did
Ill never forget as a kid, seeing WM6 video in Blockbuster and being shocked that Warrior was going up against Hogan. Eventually got to rent it (due to having siblings we all had to agree on a film to rent - impossible when you are the only wrestling fan in the house lol) and loved every minute of that event. As there was no Internet back then, no spoilers so i got to find out the result there and then whilst watching. Happy days, genuinely happy days!
A big group of friends and I went to Hooters for 19, just to see HBK vs Jericho. The whole place was filled with wrestling fans. The pops in the restaurant were deafening, and they played it on every screen, plus a massive projector about 8 feet wide. Next best thing to being there. Great night, loads of fun.
My favorite WM was 19. The 2nd half really helped elevated the event and IMO it has the best Rock vs. Austin match.
The WM I have the most nostalgic for was 2000. It was the first WM I ever saw live and the McMahon in every corner angle and match is a guilty pleasure of mine.
So many significant memories from these Manias. And alot of nostalgic love that doesn't necessarily hold up if we rewatch with todays goggles.
I recently rewatched the Hogan/Warrior match with my older cousin whom hadn't seen it since it happened live. I told him to count how many actual wrestling moves they do and he was baffled by the time it was over 😅
Anyways, superb list here and a good way to start off my Sunday.
I was at Wrestlemania 6 in Toronto! I had so much fun as a child!
Voted for WM XX purely for nostalgia reasons. It was the first Mania I watched in full, at 14 years old. I was a massive Undertaker fan, and his return was so exciting for me.
One of my favourite Wrestlemanias ever too. Such a stacked card. It was the only Wrestlemania I’ve ever watched live. It was also after this wrestlemania that my interest in the current product started to fall off. I’ve seen every wrestlemania up until wrestlemania 21.
About Booker/HHH, yeah the buildup gets brought up a lot with good reason BUT for me the worst is it took Hunter 1 pedigree and a 20 second break between the move and the 3 count to win. Thats the thing that bothers me still to this day.
Another great video: I agree with the production around takers loss at 30. Best part imo is Haymans immediate response of complete shock after the pin. It one of those things that don't get talked about much but made it an even bigger deal
A legit
Mania 17 was my favourite. That needs its own in depth video as the series finale for Reliving the War.
Have been to 3 live WWF events. First one was wrestlemania X7, went to raw the next night, then a couple months later went to a house show in Dallas. All three had Rock/Austin main event.
I’ve been good just watching on tv since…
Many great selections here, but being an 80's kid, for me nothing really tops Hogan and Warrior in their showdown from WrestleMania 6.
Definitely do more of these. This was fun asf
When I discovered this channel, I went back and caught myself up on every, single Monday Night Wars video. I have been nothing but entertained. It's amazing how far you have come with every part of your presentations. I wish you all the luck in the world. You deserve it.
I was bias in my selection fo 18 as I was there live at the Skydome, but if I was being honest I enjoy the matches of 17 the best.
Haven't seen 19 in a long time, so going to go rewatch that as I forgot how great it is. That said, I'll always be fully bias to 3 as I watched that with my dad as a kid on repeat.
Great topic and insights as usual Ryan👍
WM17 is truly a well deserved number 1 here. Everything leading up to the show was just perfect. I was quite surprised that WM31 didn't show up, that would have been my number 2 pick.
WM19 was special. Every single match delivered the goods.
I agree mostly and if either Booker T would have beat Triple H or if the build up to the match would have been different, it could have had a chance to be better than WM X7.
I’ve been enjoying all of different videos I have my own favorites there’s a few matches in wrestle mania please keep up the good work on these videos 😎👍❤️
We love wrestling bios keep up the good work!!!
17 just can not be beat the build up to the biggest stars of the attitude era facing each other at the time it felt like the rumble in the jungle and the limp bizkit soundtrack still gives you chills
Mania 19 was definitely my favorite as well. Taking place in my neck of the woods, I saved up my money to get a ticket that night. Little things you could nitpick like Booker T not getting the victory but man, great show and great memories.
I remember people talking about WMXXX back in 2014 and finally got to watch most of it about a year later and that scene with Bryan lifting those belts in front of that massive "Wrestlemania XXX" banner and the crowd going wild is easily one of most iconic shots in WM history.
I was at mania xix for a stag do, greatest live experience of my life, but I agree with 17, I still watch that one with 18 and 19 on a regular basis for how good that era was. WM17 with savage vs Steamboat would've been perfection. If only that match was on a modern day card. My fave match ever
Mania 19 is one of my favorites, I loved angle and lesnar, michaels and jericho, and mcmahon and hogan. What a great show
No one knew who was going to win the WM6 main event. That made WM6 super damn cool.
I attended #4 and #9 , both in Toronto. I also watched WM3 via closed circuit pay per view @ maple leafs gardens. I grew up in Toronto and was buying magazines, hanging up posters , good ole days
Best channel ever! Wrestlemania X was my favorite because it truly felt like a year-long story and “season/series finale.” That could have been the last WWF show and I would have been satisfied. However, I was a kid and still watch it with my dad once a year. I’m curious as to whether there’s a correlation between age and favorite Mania- I bet most people picked the best show as the one that induced the most nostalgia berries of a time when things were simpler and better. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the content! I shattered my ankle and can't get out of bed.
WM 17, 3, 6, 10, 20, 30, 19, 23, 22, 21, TOP 10 WM OF ALL TIME, WM X7 GREATEST OF ALL TIME,
I can't point to a technical aspect of 17 that makes it better than 19. In my mind, they are both equally great. I always go with 17 as my favorite because of that main event and its significance. It'll be a sad day when Reliving the War reaches WM 17 and ends, but it'll be awesome at the same time. Kind of like watching the actual show: Sad that those days aren't coming back, but still incredible that it happened at all.
You're right, as a kid watching WM6, I was so torn between my two favorites. Warrior Rules!!!!!!
A best ever summer slam would be awesome
Great list. Mania 14 felt magical to me back then. It completely felt like WWF got the spectacle back, manias 12 and 13 felt like they were missing something.
12 is really good and 13 kinda just felt like a 1 match show.
Surely mania 14 was my favorite..shot Austin into legend status...u make great videos..love the channel..👍💞💞

Hearing you mention the final episode of RtW makes me sad and its still years down the road.
Great work here my friend. Video well done. My personal fav mania in my (bias) opinion is between WM 6 and 18... only because I was at both of these Manias.
To experience Hogan/Warrior as a kid and Hogan/Rock in my 20s live in person was energy on another level from the crowd. I have been to countless music festivals, big time concerts and events through out my life and nothing compared to that. Thunderous energy and pops.

Remember when these numbers are set out theyvare adding in all the staff backstage no one sees, vendors, resupply guys, performers, wrestlers, etc so that 80k is preovably correct for fans but there was a lot of others counted as they were in the building
I was one of those that happened to be done with the day to days of wrestling in 2002. Real life responsibilities took over. Outside of a couple things ("ECW" and Summer of Punk), I haven't watched since, and I don't think I've missed much.
I will never understand the appeal of wm 30. I turned off my TV watching it the first time as soon as streak was broken. It marked the end of my time as a religious WWE viewer. I used to watch raw SD and nxt in full during the time.
Too funny I fell asleep during the taker Brock match because it was slow and I thought take is winning. I wake up and see Brock’s hand raised 😂😂
Agree I always thought Mania 30 was the most overrated Mania or events ever

As someone catching up on your Reliving the War series, I would be interested in the consensus of the best WWF/WCW ppv's of the Monday Night Wars era!
WM17 was a winniner due to the matches put up and for the Rock/Austin Promo.. The moment My way from Limp bizkit chimed was the best Promo for a match ever produced. The Song the video, the talent... perfect. I love just watching that promo vid.. Its actually better than the match. The hype it instills, the moves, the timing of the video to the song. Perfection
It was the ultimate climax for the attitude era. After this things started to switch towards “the invasion”. Then the ruthless aggression era.
And the build
Wrestlemania 8 is the most underrated one because people focus too much on the disappointing Mainevent- forgetting about the amazing Macho Man vs Ric Flair and Bret Hart vs Roddy Piper matches and also about the huge crowd pops.
It was a equivalent of Wrestlemania 3 and 8
