- Some of the things Gabriel Tosh has to say.
This video does not overlap with the New Folsom choices, it's mostly just the shipboard dialogue.

Hard to believe that Jamaican culture survived this long all the way out in the Koprulu Sector
Well, the Terrans derived from convicts...who knows what culture they brought with them.
Amazingly, this game is set only 500 years in the future (slightly less, actually), so I don't think cultures so well known and spread, such as Jamaican culture, would have dissipated by then. Instead, I'm very surprised that humans have created such futuristic technology in less than 500 years.
Caleb Jaaniste i think encountering the zerg and prtoss + the minerals and vespene gas kinda supercharged the research of tech.
@@k-leb4671 500 years is a lot of time, mate. So I wouldn't be surprised if irl humans could achieve something similar in the future, maybe even more advanced. Well, given if we don't destroy ourselves first lmao.
It's not even Jamaican, just a remnant of Caribbean culture that made its way onto the penal colony ships that were exiled to Koprulu. Apparently Tosh was very different when he was younger and only started embracing the Rastafarian gangster/Voodoo warrior thing after his psychic powers were upgraded.
rofl I just read this. I find this comment hilarious. However, in all seriousness. It's sci-fi. If it was realistic, then they'd sound totally different. The further you go back in time, the more different English sounds, just listen to how the characters speak which I was surprised, if you go back in time enough, people speak like a Shakespeare play, or out of the bible.
I really do like that Raynor starts off just telling tosh to fuck off out of his head at the beginning of the crystal missions and by the end Raynor is just explaining in detail the whos, the hows, why. The only person Raynor can't hide things from becomes one he confides in about the most serious topics of them all; Kerrigan, Zeratul, Tychus, Mengsk.
(It's also striking that Tosh is remarkably fine with Valerian despite promising to burn Arcturus to the ground; guess he makes good on that comment that "Tomorrow there'll be a new Mengsk" and that ultimately his beef is a personal one, with Arcturus, and less about freedom - just like Raynor.)
Tosh talks really gives you a better insight of things, it's really nice to have him around.
By the way, my sincere thanks for uploading all these stuff from SC2 for us MML.
i feel you mon.
The human vol'jin
I feel you mom
I liked Tosh the moment he was introduced in the game. I definitley sided with him over Nova. I'm disappointed you didnt get to use him more.
I always trust Tosh and his spectres. I knew that Nova was brainwashed cuz she is a ghost. Later in the Nova campaing she freed herself from that control and decided to protect Valerians Dominion. Thats the thing that makes Spectres better than Ghosts is freewill.
After seeing the HotS trailers, I say that Tosh's ending is the "Good" ending, and Nova's ending is the "Bad" ending.
So who actually went with Nova?
Seriously it's like choosing to help a sith kill a jedi just because he has force abilities. Oh and you're a republic soldier.
Execute order 66
My brother did, because he thought ghosts were more useful in the gameplay, but to me and to Lowko, there is really only one right choice. I chose to help Tosh.
I only did Nova to get the completionist achievement. Outside of that, I always sided with Tosh.
Ignore my profile. I am too lazy to swap to my main so I'm breaking character.
I sided with Nova at first only because Tosh insisted on being so secretive. I mean we didn't even know Tosh was a spectere until we drilled it out of him. And when Nova said that they were psychopaths, Tosh didn't even deny it
@@QUEXYYEN-mz6tg it's not like ghosts aren't
By far one of my favorite characters from this series. Love his character, voice and abilities.
Gotta love Tosh's voice
De spirits be restless

Tosh admitting he was scared after feeling the Hybrid's power. When the resident friendly creepy psyker is scared of something.
You must take heed
Tosh, my favorite starcraft 2 charectar
Gabriel Tosh
The Best Drinking Buddy Ever
Man, the OST of this Saga is... DIVINE. I can tell, for sure and hands down, it is one of the best soundtrack in the Universe of videogames. The perfect mix between country, southern rock and other music gender, is pure magic. The guys of Blizzard did a magnificent job.
Dark Harbingers, maann...Tosh is so badass.
So why does Tosh disappear? Does he need to be in cool runnings?
Tosh and the Spectres are just badass
I choose Tosh every time.
@Stheno16 As far as I remember he never lied about the purpose of the missions. You just never asked unil Nova showed up (at which point he admitted that is exactely what's going on). As far as his traspassing goes-You never told him to get off your ship, and obviously its not a reason to betray him
now i want a Jamaican friend
Thank you very much for putting these up. Editing them together must have taken such work. Thanks for the effort.
I like this guy already xxx
Tosh is the cleverest man on Hyperion.
Sometimes you almost forget what potent psionic powers some terrans can have.
Makes sense Jim didn't get creeped out by Tosh's words, given one of his earliet moments with Kerrigan in SC I he reminds us she's an actual telepath.
Oh really? Oh yeah your right that after you done the (I dont know how the aliens name that one that give you a crystal so sorry) misson and talk to tosh
Sorry spelling error don't how to spell the aliens name
@@vanillaboy-rr8dvzeratul
>you've been seeing into the spirit world
says guy who clearly looks like he does some stuff
Why would you take Nova instead of him? There's absolutly no reason
This guy could probably make some serious hash brownies if you asked nicely.
Gabriel Tosh is awesome hes a true ally n loyal companion to Jim Raynor
you missed the part where he tells about kerrigan
5:42 to 6:16 and 7:11 to 7:33 are among my favorite conversations. Tosh describing tychus was really saying something.
It'd be funny if there be a Easter egg where tosh meets vol'jin on da Hyperion or anywhere.
Evil Hermes Conrad.
Lee Everet
Thats one awsome voice :).
Tosh = Vol'jin
LOL why?
bo joe Same voice actor, if I remember right.
the funny part i was on the hero of the storm forums and their was a thread with a title like this
bo joe Why, we don't yet have a Tosh hero.
But he's right on top of my 'want him in the nexus' list only below Fenix.
nigga plz
He is a real ass kicker!
is there a way to get an HD tv 2 act like a monitor for a computer so I can play the game in hd?
We would, too!
Ahhh here is the man!
hehe what a cool guy :)
God, those lights on his suit are maddening! I'd toss him out the airlock after five minutes 0_o
what mission is he talking about (the hybrid?) at 8:07
@RuneArcN8 He's my absolute favorite character in the entire Starcraft universe.
Spectres have Perminate cloak upgrade! YEAH
@Elfandspartan Yea right, you are going to use a hunting knife on a heavily armour marine. His blade is "ornamental".
@MrShitthead The 2011 Egyptain revolution saw fewer than 900 killed. In the grand scheme of things, that's peanuts- and certainly much less than even the most half-assed of civil wars.
According to the novel Starcraft: Ghost: Spectres, hallucinations, violent outbreaks and insanity were common side effects of exposure to terrazine gas. A few Spectres were guilty of treason, but the Spectre project was ended because it was a PR disaster waiting to happen.
@Stheno16 ...although the fact that Raynor's one of the few SC1 Terrans who isn't complicit in some form of planetary genocide practically makes him the good guy by default. It's one side effect of living in a glass-half-empty universe like Starcraft, I suppose.
@Stheno16 you'll never find a revolution that just peacefully happens, especially against tyrannic leaders. Also, i was talking about the Mexican revolution against spain, the one that happened in 1910 turned into civil war because of a lot of american influence.
And Mengsk didn't lock the spectres up because they were unstable... Tosh was the leader of the spectres and when he decided to turn against mengsk, all the spectres followed him because he's pretty much a father figure to them...
@RuneArcN8 Tosh has a blade. Though I wish he got to use it in mission.
so... exactly what did he find wrong with Hanson? Was this just a little plot hole that went nowhere or what???
If you dont help her she infects herself and becomes zerg
I don't remember who said this but rumour say that tosh was a boyfriend with nova but the emperor though differently he made nova a ghost viva brainwashing so tosh got Angy with the emperor and plans hes Revenge
(Me gets shot)
(Few feet away sound of footsteps)
WTF, Hakunin escaped from Fallout 2 ?
@RuneArcN8 He does have a blade.
@RuneArcN8 Good comparison, except that the Dark Templar's motives are pretty clear, survival and cultural autonomy from the Khalai Protoss. Tosh... we'll have to find out later, won't we?
@1113stve Butterfly knife that is.
@TemplarX2 First things first, that aint a hunting knife, it’s a Balisong.
Second of all, those pieces of armor move, which means they have joints. Now, back in the middle ages, you killed a knight by shoving your blade in where the armor articulated, because that was the weakest point.
But most of all, am I the only one who would have liked to see him Tosh and Nova get in a knife fight?
tosh be jammin'
how do these guys know about honey and bees...?
SKELETON KING
LOL you're so right xD !!!
GET OUT OF MY MIND TOSH.
Tosh alive is canon to me.
@therockana Being in the future doesn't mean they don't have bees. They probably have GM bees. LOL.
@MartinKiller88
More like Sulik, consulting spirits and stuff.... :)
@MrShitthead Key word: require. And since youu want to use the Mexican revolution as an example: if ten years of internal armed conflict doesn't constitute civil war, what does?
It's true. Spectres aren't conscripts. Their abilities are much, much more valuable. Mengsk can brainwash people into doing his bidding. If he prefers to have them rotting in a cell instead of out working for him, it doesn't say much for their stability or reliability.
I just lost my shit.
Tosh a bro, almost better than little jacob
@Stheno16 lol half assed civil wars, thats the funny. Regardless, i missed the part where that revolution turned into a chaotic civil war.
And about the side effects... Its been made very clear in the novel and game that terrazine (a key component in increasing psionic abilities) is only dangerous when abused, which some spectres did. btw, in a tolatarian regime, treason means nothing about your morals, raynor's the most treasonous of all, is he now a useless scum too?
@senthereborn Maybe because he lied to you about the purpose of both the missions he sent you on? Inviting himself onto my bridge unasked doesn't get him many kudos points either (though, in fairness, boundaries of trespass seems to be a concept that most Ghosts have difficulties with...)
@senthereborn Deliberately misled, then. He implied that he was after the Terrazine in order to make a profit on the black market, and that the Redstone minerals were, well... valuable as minerals. Sure, that's within his rights as a mercenary client, but comrades share that kind of relevant information with each other. And if he doesn't consider himself to be your comrade...
@Stheno16 He "Implied" it, but he didn't lie to you. Even if he did, there's no reason to beliave Mangsk's ghosts that this "Spectre" project is dangerous. Point is - Tosh presents absolutly no threat to you, or anyone else, except for maybe Mangsk and his goverment. And that is a very good reason to help him out. The only reason not to however is -Nova is hot (and the main character of a game they never released)
@senthereborn Well... I'm going to limit myself to what Raynor knew at the time: no reference to Psionic Indoctrinators and the like.
Nova has good reason to mislead Raynor. Which makes his choice one of picking between that, or someone with a proven history of doing so.
Next, historically speaking, successful revolutions have a habit of degenerating into civil war between victorious factions. Thinking in the long term may be good reason not to give him an army of psychic convict assassins.
Why does Tosh seem to distrust Dr. Hanson?
Nicholas Johnson too light hearted, he also told Horner that simply kill leader won't work.
It is hint / foreshadowing of a possible outcome with Hanson. Depending which path you take during the story.
@MrShitthead On revolutions: not really, A revolution need not require bloodshed- merely change. Civil wars are almost inevitably very bloody. Compare the Russian and Spanish revolutions to the civil wars which followed them.
You'd be right about the political prisoners, if it weren't for the fact that the Dominion conscripts criminals directly into the Marines, and uses neural inhibition as standard... suggesting Spectres are even less stable than the usual rapists and murderers.
@Stheno16 what do you think a revolution is? its just a civil war, and a lot of times one that is warranted, how do you think the US was created? Also, in a totalitarian regime, prisons are packed with people who are only guilty of thinking too freely or simply being a political threat. Btw, spectres are more human than ghosts, ghosts have memory whipes, and the turning process to spectres actually brings back their memories, that's why they're all so pissed off. Besides, Spectre > ghosts
