Omggg thank youu!!
i just wanna make sure, when im bleeding the system i take the bleeder valve cap off, turn the car on and once it starts bubling over i turn my car off let it cool down then tighten the valve bakc down and take the funnel out?
Really excellent video - Thank you! How long did the job take from start to finish?
what was the reasoning you leaked some of the fluid from the botton? was it just to save some from the top hose from coming out?
Did you go with a oem alternator or a Duralast or something aftermarket from autozone?
Which brand alternator did you replace it with
how fid you know it was the alternator that was bad because my car will crank but wont start im so confused i replaced the bank 1 camshaft sensor and still wont work
Alternator was/wasn't charging intermittently. This caused the battery to die on me intermittently. I used a digital battery tester, ran the charging test and found that the charging system was not working. The bearing also happened to be bad on my alternator which was causing smoke and burnt bearing smell after running the engine for a while. Alternator went on me at 190,000+ Miles
Do you really need the tensioner tool?
Up to you. Under tightening could lead to belts slipping, over tightening could lead to wearing out bearings on pulleys. Who doesn't need an extra tool to use once and say you have it years from now.
