This made me cry. My Lola passed away 3 months ago. She was a rescue pup, left tied to a pole in the street, and by some miracle, I got to adopt her 19 years ago. She was my baby, my princess, my whole world. She was a mixed breed, a perfect creation only nature could make.
Don't support dog breeding! Dogs have souls and souls are not for sale!

elchucofried no they won't die, it doesn't work like that. The breeders would have to give them away to ppl FOR FREE and once they realize they have no way of profiting from breeding they'll stop doing that. See how simple that is? I wasn't saying don't adopt a pure breed, I was saying don't *BUY* them, bc then you'd create an incentive for breeders to keep breeding dogs.

I love these clips. I just wish they would focus more on some of the older dogs, who need the help more.
While I appreciate the sentiment in what he's doing, it's not really hard to get a puppy adopted. Small puppies like the ones featured here usually have a 99%+ adoption rate with or without his help. It's the adult dogs and cats who have a hard time finding homes. If you are planning to adopt please don't forget about the wonderful adult dogs and cats who also need loving homes, too!

Shigemi Notoge Amen! I adopted a six year old cat from my vet office last year. His name is Jeff and he is the sweetest most affectionate cat I have. He looks like a rag doll mix. I'm sure he is not a pure breed but I love him. 😁

I agree entirely. My dog was adopted at 3 (I know that's not OLD, but he wasn't a puppy... okay, dogs are always, the way the act, puppies, but you know what I mean!)

those puppies also need a home, and it's easier to get attention when being young pups. it's sad for the older dogs, but at least he is giving all those puppies a chance to not grow up in foster care or shelter

The segment should have been temporarily renamed to “Rescue Cat Rescue”.
Here is my criticism of your "Rescue dog rescue" segment Stephen... They are all young, cute, and thus REALLY easily adopted animals. The rescue dogs that actually need your help are the older ones when nobody people refuse to adopt. They are the ones looking at living in a cage 'till the end of their days with not one person to give them the love and care they need. Shelter workers will care for them, but it is not that same as a dog having their very own person. Help dogs that REALLY need it dude, not just cute young puppies!

The majority of puppies and kittens are adopted out though, so this segment is not really saving puppies it is just filling a few min of airtime with cute dogs.

I have a similar but less sever allergy. You will be fine as long as you only touch the dog with the palms of your hands. It's easier said than done though.

What I really like about this segment is how you have to remind people to love other things, and feel empathy, because humans don't do that by themselves normally. That's actually why Hitler rose to power.
You should feature adult dogs, since this is called "dog rescue." It's easy for puppies to be adopted.

I have, several chickens. They each have their own personality and quirks, and there is no reason why their life is so low a priority as you put it, certainly not lower thana dog's.
