To save y’all time if you already saw the old interview the new one begins @ 26:22 .
You’re the MVP for that. I was wondering why I’m seeing this interview again and that explains it. Appreciate you!
Thank you
Thanks
Thank you. I kept thinking that I had seen this before.
@@celestewheeler5229 me too
Watching this person for 30mins makes me feel like I’ve been awake for a week
🤣 me too
All the people here saying he’s a “good soul”, or “I feel so bad for him”, blows me away. This guy is the ultimate victim. He admits to grooming a child. He wants everyone to feel bad for him. He’s disgusting. He takes zero responsibility for any of his own atrocious actions.
And then he tried to say that he is going to get it expunged. I'm interested to hear how that goes...
Right I couldn’t even finish it he was so damn annoying and creepy
Be better off just taking him behind the shed and giving him the ole yeller treatment
@@mariellenkapbela9805 i couldn't finish it either, as soon as he said "this behavior led me to...." i was done smh
@Teotl Tlayoalli I agree that he has issues. I totally respect your opinion. I just think it’s how he lives. I think he 100% chooses to be a victim and wants to be.
Thank you Mark interesting interview, the black & white photograph turned out really well on this one.
Best of luck for your future David , I hope you can forgive the bad things that happened in your past and start to plan a future.
Well said Blaze Fairchild, you're the 2nd person in 2 days I know from the community, saw a comment by shogun love yesterday on another interview, and today Jewels about SWU yesterday in a live, bound to see her here someday soon!
Thank you for giving people a voice, Mark. It’s been really amazing watching your transformation as an interviewer over time.
Befriending someone as a kid, and then trying to swoop in and date them as an adult is fucked up. It's damaging. The victim doesn't know how much you damaged them until they're older and they finally start questioning why they act in certain ways. Even sadder if they just go through life repeating unhealthy behaviors, that you instilled in them, making mistake after mistake.
We were all kids once. Think about why it's so easy for an adult to become "friends" with a child or teenager. Don't take advantage of that for your own gratification.
He gives me a vibe after his probation hell move somewhere in Asia where he can buy or be with a young poor girl , he is not pure or innocent . Very manipulative , have predator vibes and he is not self aware
“Be regular and orderly in your life, so that you may be violent and original in your work.” Gustave Flaubert
I feel for him but he reminds me of my abusive ex- catches your heart with the abuse story so you empathize with how hard it must've been but he can't take accountability for harmful and destructive behavior he's perpetrating as an adult
I can definitely see your point there
He admits he cheated on his ex wife a lot and that's why he lost her. He's a drug addict pervert living his delusional dreams now. She dodged a bullet.
I’m always leerie w men who want to give you their sob story n insist on telling you it’s a bat trap situation most times.
The classic covert narcissist.
A spoiled rich brat who looked down on everybody got slapped by karma bad.
To be so cracked out an fidgety he sure has a profound vocabulary and sentence structure
It’s the crack or meth that has made him articulate probably lol.
@@ericocanseyjr1406 right.!!! Lol
I mean he said he did go to college…
It's the meth.
This one really rubbed me the wrong way. For him to say that where he's at is because of circumstances out of his control, but also say he was a rich college boy... I feel so sorry for humanity. Cause many people think like this guy. It's also why many of the homeless people out in these cities are terrible people. I worked on Haight St. in San Francisco and most of the homeless who lived on that street were assholes, stole from our tip jar, attacked people, verbally abused us. Because so many of those people like this guy feel entitled, like they didn't get something the rest of us did. They got the short end of the stick. Bullshit. This guy had all the tools he just didn't know how to build with them. Instead of learning, he gave up and started doing crystal meth. Give me a break.
Yes. Agree. There's a reason some of these folks live in the dregs of society. They make poor life choices because they have deviant personalities.
The question was “what do you regret?” Not “what else should we feel bad for you about?” Lol accountability is his problem.
I love watching David and Ariel!! Very insightful that many could learn from. Thank you mark. 🥰
Not an easy person to like, the combination of dismissive arrogance, deep self pity, and admissions of abuse of others,.,
Mark. You’re the best man. Loveeeeeee your channel. I’ve gotten a lot of people to subscribe. I’m addicted to this channel
🙄🙄🙄 Ok, once you’re 45, you need to let your shitty childhood go already.
This is the first interview I've watched where I didn't like or believe the person being interviewed and I've watched a lot of these. I feel like 90% of what he said was B.S. and everything that's happened to him has been someone else's fault. I wouldn't trust this guy as far as I could throw him. I hate feeling like this toward another human but there is just something off/creepy/etc. about him.
Probably because he’s calling BS on the “progressives” of LA.
Intuition is a gift!
I get predator vibes.
The classic covert narcissist.
@@lynnsmith4 no, I think he's full of shit and completely deluded about his talents and life. Tragic really.
I believe him
Check out his most recent one Joseph….this one is a straight up demon
euuww. he is so full of crap. he is saying exactly what he thinks people want to hear in order to feel sorry for him. he really gives off skeezy vibes
He’s a whole creeper lmao
He is absolutely right in that fundamentally, people have the right to be who they are as long they don’t harm others
From my own perspective:
People don’t want to be judged but will judge others, we’re all hypocrites to some extent.
What I head him say is that people that don’t agree with him are ignorant or don’t understand him. Not really a fair statement if someone’s beliefs are different. We can all agree to disagree and still respect one another.
So much artistic talent is unseen due to mental struggles🥺
This guy could do a Ted Talk!!! Well spoken and intelligent. Best wishes to you sir.
I’ve known quite a few “ functioning” addicts… ones who don’t keep increasing their use but basically maintain it. It’s not a desired lifestyle that is for sure.
As far as I can tell the mechanism behind methamphetamine's role in rapid decay of dental status is related to the dehydration that naturally occurs from the drug itself and that is then exacerbated by the typical neglecting staying hydrated. You do it-- you do not even feel dehydration. It wreaks havoc on the gums which are designed to keep teeth hydrated.
You are 100% correct
Absolutely zeo accountability
Love your interviews!
Watch the covert narcissist in action of the pityplay: "I'm such a victim but I don't seek therapy to do anything about it because I get validation and empathy from playing the victim" They will do ANYTHING for validation and this is where they end up; Skidrow doing drugs to kill that inner pain.
His story is jumping all over the place don’t know what to believe also I lived in a tent for 2 years and there’s no great freeing feelings living in that situation I think he’s a story collector
absolutely. I knew those stories about his dad were someone else's.
Hoping for the best for you. Just remember, wherever we go, there we are!
To offset all of the negative comments, who are we to judge him? His biggest regret should be not filing grand theft charges instead of buying back his things over and over until homelessness. Everyone deserves compassion and empathy.
Somewhat agree. However, and this is a big however, the best predictor of a person's future is their past.
This is giving me major Pick-Me vibes but for drug-addicted homelessness. He's on that "I'm not like all the other drug addicted homeless people....I'm special" shit.
Didn’t this already get posted? Ive watched this before but now it’s back in my inbox. Maybe I’m mistaken some how🤔
Definitely shows not to judge a book by its cover! This video in particular & channel in general shows there are more to these ppl. Thank you Mark!
Pros to living in a tent : I don't have to make my bed
Cons: I don't have a bed
Can DAVID "Ariel" share his artwork? How do we get access to see his artwork? If I can help, please let me know. Thank you.
This was a fantastic interview mark ❤️ I’d love to see his art
Such an interesting interview. Thank you Mark and thank you Ariel for your brutal honesty and amazing insight into your own personal psyche or brand of gender identification. Freud would have been delighted to have you as a .clients. Quite frankly, you probably would have blown his mind. LOL! It was definitely fascinating to listen to you. I hope that you are able to rise above your current circumstances and find some joy and peace Peace within.
Akiko Yoshida ? The girl from "American Dad" the animated TV show?? (about 43 min)
43:41 "Akiko Yoshida"
Why is he talking about the little girl from American Dad?
Idk this dude sounds like a pathological liar. Illusions of grandeur to the extreme and talking about how special he is despite being literally on skid row. People at the bottom always talk themselves up
And people on the top talked themselves up there, maybe? I think there are lots of special people everywhere.
@@thematriarchy2075 absolutely but nobody that's special has to tell you about how they're special because of their family or the people they've met, they show it through who they are.
I also suspect he's lying about certain things to come across better. A lot of people think the homeless all have hearts of gold. I suspect the dominatrix pawned his instruments to cover his half of the rent
@@Illjustwait I am not too worried about it. I watch, i appreciate and i hobble along.

I feel so bad for this person. I wish I could help. God bless and much love from Philly PA!!💙
Does anyone have any info about his sex offense?
He’s got a great level of mentalization but all the self insight don’t seem to help him in his choices at all
i understand very much this is the best explanation ive ever heard also each person is indivudal and different
Very difficult to watch. I don't know why, but there's just something very uncomfortable about him. He is I'm so much denial
Praying for you David. I hope you get blessings, happiness, peace, love, because you deserve it. You are smart, talented, and you have potential. I’m glad you know it also 💜
I feel for this person. Seems so smart and sensitive. I wish for you to get well and find happiness.
He needs to stop blaming other people for his mistakes

Wait, wasn't this already posted?
The new update (part 2) starts at 26:22.

I feel like I saw this. Is this a reupload?
It's part 2, its inthe description box 🤗
Ya I read it after. But thanks for being nice about it 🙂
I remember this one
Very bright individual- he gave alot of insight to his own experiences meaning he is pretty far along in the process of working thru traumatic events- it takes alot of heart and understanding to work thru horrible trauma..... for some it's just to hard. It rarely happens fast either. Usually 1/2 a lifetime or maybe a whole lifetime- sometimes never.
Good luck brother. I'm wishing you all the best, stay safe-
Mark, with all due respect, you should probably turn off the comments on this particular video.
I like David. Hope he can get his career back. Good luck to him.
IS THIS REUPLOAD?
The new update (part 2) starts at 26:22.
It's really sad to me seeing someone so clearly in desperate need of help, just play down how much their addiction effects them. He constantly compared his drug use, amount of drugs, method of using it, sleeping schedule to others. What any addict does should be irrelevant and it's horrible to deflect and compare yourself to others and justify that you aren't as bad as so and so.. I pray he finds his way to sobriety. I also prey he doesn't ever speak to another minor again. Another justification with that too and it's just disgusting and wrong. Wake up dude. Get help. Admit your wrong doings and stop blaming others for your misfortune. It's because of you that you're where you are. Shesh. Sad.
This does seem to be true and thoughtful assessment that I also hope he pays attention to. Hopefully since it is thoughtful and not an attack it will cause an honest look at himself.
Mark has surely opened eyes many of what in society regard as weird and unacceptable around the globe.Hope it does not influence young minds negatively coz habits are contagious !
He's totally right about the clothing thing!!! And the 'scared little boys' thing...
I’m confused? I thought we already saw this interview before? Either that or I’m having a weird deja-vu/saw the future.
Someone said the new one is at around the 26:00 mark
@@Josh_you_uh yea I saw that a few minutes after I posted this. I just finished the video so it makes a lot more sense.
What a beautiful human - it freaks me out what monsters people can be - this is a sensitive poet thrown to the wolves -- heartbreaking. Many blessings
Game Of Thrones fans, doesn't he look like Jaqen H'ghar in the black and white photo?
🖤 you do have so much to offer.
David you can start your life over again at any point. Only you hold onto the will power to be able to decide when that is.
You need to take accountability for your actions.
he speaks so well & is very good at telling his story.
Because that’s what he’s doing. Telling a made up story. He’s. He’s a pathological liar

I thought so too till I read the description box, it's part 2 🤗
I thought for sure I had seen the 1st 25 mins
New update (part 2) starts at 26:22.
But he explains himself with a level of intelligence you don't usually see on this channel. Interesting
I'm a dental hygienist and I want to confirm the route of administration (IE smoking vs. shooting up) is what causes meth user's to have their teeth destroyed. In addition, I have found that drug addicts don't always have pristine hygiene habits and sometimes go days without brushing their teeth, which would be an issue for any healthy person.
@Tennessee Coats sorry but no it doesn't!!
I’m hearing lots of excusing. Also that’s called grooming my dude
Can you interview a carb and sugar addict please? I’m struggling with that right now myself so it would be great to learn from that conversation
If this series is to toughen the under belly and David's artwork truly is good then maybe using this platform to exhibit it for them would have been helpful or life changing with 2.2million subscribers.
Ariel, I think you’re awesome. Thank you for all of your honesty here. Gender and sexuality is such a complex and personal topic. Truly a pleasure to hear your thoughts. Wishing the best for you.
So sorry these things happened too you!

Does he have a GPS monitor from the police on his left ankle? It looks like it to me. When he does the full shot of his body that’s the only time you can see it.
I don’t think so, although I could be wrong.
@@Lisasanti1 - I looked at it again and there’s definitely something wrapped around his left ankle. It looks like it might be a leather little bag like a purse type thing you can wrap around your ankle I don’t know, but I pause it when it’s on his ankle and then I Zoom in with my phone and I see something wrapped around his ankle, but it doesn’t look like a house arrest anklet, so I don’t know what it is but it’s there.

Yessss!!!! Total Donald trump vibes
Such a kind, intelligent and insightful soul.
Any ones wasted drugged out life is tragic..we all have gifts to make the world a better place.
I wonder if some of the inspiration he gives people, comes from some amount of ableism on the part of the viewer?
Perhaps it is assumed that a homeless drug addict isn't able to create, so when they do, it exceeds an expectation and seems inspiring?
Love u Mark 💓💓

Stop placing blame. Only you can get your life together
Let's hope you never need a bit of compassion.
@@krisquigley4497 it common for us heads to blame other's to take the focus off us. Only when someone is real with us and honest can we get better. Coddling has no place in addiction
@@travisreed4070 My brain knows that, but my heart still feels empathy.
@@krisquigley4497 it's a hard balance keep it honest and show compassion, but it has to be done. I see so many codependents in the name of compassion.. my wife is codependent and has no clue.
