My dad took me to see Mortal Kombat in the theater when I was a kid.
At the scene where Lui Kang is told to use "the element of life" my dad immediately says "Water" and I'm still convinced he protected the Earth realm at some point in his life.
That's an INSANE thing to correctly guess haha
I mean, the only incorrect answer is fire. And I feel like fire still would work on Sub-Zero.

Am I the only one still waiting for the Bak Mei parody of Shang Tsung in a modern Mortal Kombat game, complete with a bad wig and suffocating wardrobe?
Watching this one before the sequels kinda makes it like a torture warm up. You know, stretching your muscles, getting those senses tingling and nerve endings woken up, before the real torture starts.

There's a part after Liu Kang beats all the dead soul guys, he runs up the stairs to reach Shang Tsung. It's one of the most hilariously awkward tracking shots I've ever seen. 😂

I think this video is the second best thing about the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie; the best thing is the 'chewing the scenery' competition going on between Cary Hiroyuki-Tagawa (Shang Tsung) and Christopher Lambert (Raiden).
