- So many places that Dragonball has covered over its history, but there are also so many places that Akira Toriyama and the Dragon Room either didn't explore enough or completely forgot about after their time is done. With us approaching Universe 11 and Jiren, are we still needing to revisit places like Yardrat or King Kai's homeworld? Let's talk about what has been ignored!

I honestly kinda feel like Super jumped the gun on the other universes considering how much of Universe 7 is still unexplored.
Toriyama. When Frieza is first introduced, it is implied that he and his family only rule the North quadrant. Most people in the quadrant were evil and/or working for him.
Toriyama must have got it in his head now that Frieza ruled the whole universe and almost everyone in it is under his control except for a few planets. He basically shrunk down Universe 7.
In his head, it probably is mostly explored
Heck, without Super forcing things back into a box. Battle of Gods basically implies an endless multiverse. So I'm going to say that Toriyama knew exactly what he was doing by reigning things in.
Kinda? I mean, we've seen what GT brought with multiple planets. The thing is, most planets tend to be quite boring. Even if we've seen less than 1% of all living things, considering 9/10 strongest fighters in the entirety of universe 7 had to come from earth kinda implies that it wont be too exciting. I mean, for filler or even mid-time episodes, I definitely wouldnt mind having Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu and/or Roshi to travel around space and clear up interferences. But for the main story line, there isnt really a reason to explore universe 7 much. Considering other universes actually still may have threats that actually give the strongest fighters a struggle, assuming Freeza stopped training for now, there isnt anything new and exciting in u7.
I honestly kinda feel like humanity jumped the gun on other planets considering how much of Earth is still unexplored.

Based on the title... I was expecting #1 to be Launch being a big supporting character for most of Dragon Ball.

It bothers me how they never address how King Kai got his planet back
They did in the battle of gods movie. Beerus Destroyed King kai’s planet years ago and made it smaller. Beerus said King kai could have asked the grand kai to restore his planet if he wanted, king kai said he preferred it small. So he probably asked for a new planet off screen.

It was only filler, yeah, but I kinda felt like it became even more irrelevant than it already is when the setting of the series got switched at the advent of Dragon Ball Z.

Ever since this video was published, Planet Yardrat DID return in the Dragon Ball Super manga! With the citizens resembling the designs Toriyama used with Dragon Ball Online, rather than the anime look! Although sadly it didn't end up adding much, which was incredibly disappointing.

Here's something that I would love to finally get touched on a little bit: The Metomarese aliens! The guys who created the fusion dance. We never actually even seen one of them, but according to Goku when they fused they became some of the strongest fighters in the universe. Obviously that level of power doesn't mean much, especially now, but still. An entire race that were stronger than the saiyajins, and who came up with a technique that mimic's the Kai's potarras? They should be a MUCH bigger deal in the Dragon Ball universe
I'd love more demon relm stuff personally. Also, I am so happy to see this channel's growth over the past couple years. Keep it up man!!!
As much as other universes have for us to explore, there is still SO MUCH MORE to go through in Universe 7! The Frieza Clan, the gods, etc. Seriously, people need to go back through the original DB series and even DBZ just to pick up on the amazing things you put down in this video!
How about if there is a Zamasu-like god in universe 7 or if there WERE god(s) like that in the past who weren't content with chilling on their version of Mt. Olympus so to speak and wanted to bring justice and order to the chaotic world below?!

An interesting idea: using the plot points of GT, could you extrapolate how the GT era would be if you continued from Dragon Ball Super.
Also, a What If that skips Super and goes into GT. A minor twist to the usual what ifs, like what if Nappa turned good only instead of Super we get the GT universe storyline
Yeah, GT doesn’t get as much love as Super gets and Masako has the knowledge to make it far more interesting than the GT canon.
8:10 Maybe a little out of topic and I know Turles is non cannon, but could exist the possibility that Tree of Might that Turles wanted to seed on earth, was a corrupted version of the Kaiju trees from the core planet? I mean, in the movie its told that the fruit from the tree could give you godlike powers that relates to the core people being born from the fruits. Also, the core planet, its gigantic. Maybe that's why the gigantic tree from the Turles movie is able to suck all life and nutrients from a planet.

Garlic Jr is a Makyo, pronounced mack-yo. Makaio are basically demon kaioshin.

Hey Masako, Can we have a video that shows the entire Dragon Ball timeline drawing from as many official sources (games, books, shows etc) as possible? There's lots of stories and interesting details that I've missed such as the whole Makaio thing you talked about. It'd be awesome to have it all in one nice video.
Something that is of central importance to the Dragonball story that has had almost no exploration are the Metamorans. The species that created the fusion dance have only ever been verbally mentioned but we know nothing about how the fusion dance was created, where the homeworld of Metamorans resides in Universe 7, or even what they look like at all. Now that Gogeta has finally appeared in the main story it would be nice to learn more about fusion and the beings that originally mastered it.
Frieza planet 419 I can see the future
I'd like them to revisit some of the forgotten earthling characters like Launch, Lime, Sharpner, Erasa, Snow and all of the others that had a few episodes of screen time.
I can't begin to imagine how many fights would have been made trivial if Devilman stuck around.
mariochaosspear up until Cell and Buu, honestly, since they have regeneration abilities that go beyond simple dismemberment can impede. Unless if the Devil Beam makes them explode on a cellular level, in which case even theyd be destroyed.
I'd say the most obvious reason for the yadrat to go to earth is plain and simple the instant transmission.
And Goku might just be the familiar ki that's far enough away. So it seems like a logical emergency evacuation plan.
He was ahead of his time with the Yartrat stuff.

Will be interesting to see demon parallels with the angels (Whis, etc) if they decide to go there.
It's really weird that Toriyama hasn't even bothered to delve into the concept of the demon realm more in the series considering that I'm pretty sure at one point in time he wanted the series to go into a more fantasy oriented direction.
A excuse for the demons not causing trouble is they could be locked in a civil war for control of the realm, with the previous king dying/turned into candy and eaten by Buu, there could be a power stuggle going on and many of those trying to become king were close or at similar level to the previous king and as a result of their battles they could get stronger and more powerful and evenly turn their attention once the civil war is over towards the rest of the Universe.
We've seen the absolute limits and heights of power between UI Goku, Jiren, and Broly, I'd love to see the Demon Realm explored as a way to give credible threats to overcome that are based on something other than raw power or a brand new form. The Realm could have all sorts of weird rules, and you certainly get the idea that Mekikabra and Mira aren't exactly about their raw power as a threat.
It only makes sense to expand upon the other universes presented in the tournament of power unless we're going to go the demigra and Morro route.

Hay masako would you consider doing a video on picalo. Everyone loves saiyans but I have an idea for a video. The idea is that picalo has a son of his own you know besides gohan, as we have seen picalo has some paternal instincts and after fusing with nail his personality became a little bit kind . I think that the kids name should be chanter witch is a smaller version of the bagpipes continuing with the whole instrument naming theme. : )
Dabura is actually the Demon King from Toriyama's other manga Sand Land. It was a short run manga but is very entertaining. It follows his son Beelzebub. You should read it if you haven't yet.
I definitely agree that we need the demon realm expanded upon. Another thing they can bring back which goes with this list and I know that everyone is tired of Saiyans taking center stage but supposedly King Kai said in the Tree of Might movie that the fruit was meant only for the gods. This was expanded/retconned in Xenoverse 2 when Elder Kai said that only Kaioshin and other gods are meant to eat the fruit from the Tree of Might. So how did Turles acquire something that only the Kaioshin are suppose to posses?

There is a couple things that I want to see more of in Dragon Ball super that is pointed out in this video.
1) I want more stuff of the various Makaiō and Makaiōshin as well as The Demon Realm as a whole as a actual theme for a future story arc.
2) I also want more stuff about the planet Yardrat and the Yardratians for a future story arc as well.

Personaly I would like to know more about the metamorans and how they live. Maybe visit them if they exist? I can't remember if they were ever shown in any media at all or even if their homeworld still exists seeing as Goku meet them in the afterlife.

Has anyone ever pitted Devilman against Dabura in DBZ: BT3? They have a unique dialogue that states that Dabura is the king of the demon realm, but that Devilman rules in his absence. Just thought that might be food for thought.

Bro I don't know why you've apologized for anything you've said on this video 😁 I've gotta say that I agree 100% with EVERYTHING you've discussed here, especially that good bit you mentioned about Frieza ( my personal favorite DB villain) and Broly. I think it would be SO cool to find out more of his origin and maybe even *cough* the actual name of the Frieza Race *cough* LOL And I would Absolutely LOVE to see DB Super Anime continue and with much of Broly in said anime! I think that would be very exciting along with, as you mentioned, seeing what the everyday life is actually like for many of the universes, in my interest especially universes 6 and 11.
Another thing Dragonball has forgotten about is that Elder Kai isn't really an elder at all. He's only like that because a witch unintentionally Potaro fused with him and, as has been stated a few times thanks to the Goku Black and Universe 6 and 7 Tournament arcs, fusing with a Kai is permanent unless you wish on a set of Dragonballs strong enough.
If Kabito Kai could use the Namekian Dragonballs to unfuse himself from Kabito, surely Elder Kai could do the same by wishing to unfuse with the witch

I just watched DBS: Broly a couple weeks ago and I still didn't remember the name of the planet until Masako said it
