Janemba. I love Cooler, he's my favorite movie villain, but I think Janemba is better suited for Super. Janemba would be the perfect villain, something that even the angels and Gods of Destruction couldn't ignore. I could see his reality warping powers effecting and altering the entire multiverse. It would give an excuse for characters like the Pride Troopers and Universe 6 Saiyans to get involved. Maybe connect him to the demon realm somehow. That way they can use lesser demons to act as subordinates and canon fodder for lesser and side characters to beat up. Maybe since demons aren't exactly of the multiverse they are immune to Zeno's powers making him a non factor and helping to ramp up the tension a bit. There's a lot that could be done with a character and concept like Janemba.
Broly and Paragus' colors look familiar? They're actually part of Cooler's army. Also among Cooler's ranks? Turles, whose first mission was to recruit Namek's strongest warrior who was--you guessed it!--Lord Slug. Frieza wouldn't let Cooler get a hand on his tech, so Cooler had to look elsewhere, eventually finding what he needed in Dr. Wheelo, who built Android 13 in this universe. And that's only the tip of the iceberg. This film will be the most ambitious crossover event in recent history, featuring every last DBZ movie villain! Bojack? Space pirate, Frieza's fiercest rival and Broly's first target. Janemba? Created by King Yemma to combat Golden Frieza, but ends up going rogue. Garlic Jr.? He joins the good guys and sends Broly to the Dead Zone. Hirudegarn? Why, that's where we have our romantic subplot, as his torso searches the universe for his other half. We've got a little something for everyone in DBS: Broly!
Interesting idea about them being part of Cooler's army, but the fact is ever since Super / Resurrection F the Freeza army's armour has changed to be more squared, less rounded, and brighter colored. It's like they took Freeza's death as an opportunity to finally redesign everything.
Yoshidraco S.A. they could just say the bojack movie is canon since it fits perfectly into the timeline. It's right after the cell saga and the movie even says that trunks came back to visit. It has few plot holes.
Thor Nelson the first movie definitely since it fits perfectly like masakox said, the second I say is crap, but best used for like a noncanon enemy in games like xenoverse, wrath of the dragon takes place after the buu saga or after Z but before super so it also fits perfectly.
They could even make Cooler more of an anti-hero. If it is a monarchy in the Frieza Empire and Cooler isn't the ruler or in line for it, he would have to be sterile. I think there was a mention of this somewhere. If handled properly he could become a compelling character.
I think he means more is that Freeza is relaxed as he does it and he takes his time and more precise and Cooler is more aggressive and will make everything hurt
In Frieza's defense, Vegeta was just a grunt to him at first and he ended up taking out Frieza's top generals, destroying Frieza's hopes for immortality, and constantly taunted him with the Super Saiyan form that Frieza's race was supposed to fear (plus or minus retcons). Considering Frieza probably had it easy all his life, getting brutal on Namek was probably more of an exception than a rule for his character. Then again, I can't remember Super rn.

I didn't say anything about "Frieza shouldn't have beaten Vegeta" either. I was just explaining why it's possible what happened on Namek wouldn't apply to all the other times Frieza's destroyed his opponents.
Fair, because its been said many times that Frieza's polite and debonair demeanor is very much just a facade for his barbarity. It's a face he puts on. If anything it'd be fun if Cooler thinks he's childish and weak for even bothering with the facade. Indeed the sibling rivalry idea is very much a good one.
@@SetoShadowVT Not only was he the first "evil Goku," but there's a lot of mystery to his backstory. Like, is he a blood relative of Goku's and how did he get the Tree of Might in the first place? Hell, even his Crusher Corps got backstories in supplementary material!
I would love to see Cooler in a different light as a villain. Something that makes Cooler a stark contrast to his younger brother, like making him into someone who fights respectfully and has a code of honor but still retain his villainous status. He could be someone who does not have any interest in leading an empire, he instead seeking new heights of power (which eventually led him to achieve his fourth transformation) and challenging worthy opponents.
God, I want Cooler to be canon. And seeing Broly getting canonized, this gives me hope to see my favorite villain return as well and in canon. I can see Cooler be easily integrated into the story thanks to his background as Frieza’s big brother and have the potential to become something great (with his fourth transformation and such).
Nexo Cooler would've been great idea because I always had in mind that their race could be from another universe that got destroyed and they could tell the reason why freeza is a product of the environment. All this time cooler was in Prison so the Galactic patrol let Cooler free due to freeza helping universe 7,Cooler comes to freezes so they could find out their race since they don't have memory of there race ...Cooler mention they could go into a nightmare dimension to see what happened to their race it and who was behind it and how freezes race lived to and go in a Dream dimension to see how their race would be living if nothing catastrophic happens.It would be something similar to the matrix where they are hooked up through technology .But they have to go to a different universe to use and find this technology.....They can't use any of the Dragon balls to see happened since beerus nor Vegita won't let them use them and they don't know where new Namek is at.
Cooler is being a main character in the dragon ball heroes anime and getting another form and also is being a dlc character for dragon ball fighterz so all that do have to mean something more then just character cameos
He can't be. Toriyama flat out said anyone who is related to Frieza and who is ridiculously powerful and evil, other than King Cold, do not exist. And thank god, the Frieza race idea is stupid and Toriyama's idea is better.

I loved the contrast between him and Freeza, how Freeze seemed to prefer a nuanced toy with my food attitude, while Cooler was more kill on sight and get the job done.
if all characters have to undergo a process to make em canon like broly is, i think maybe garlic jr. with a fresh coat of paint and a backstory revamp..... and Kuriza. Garlic could take place during the tournement of power while people are offworld, he comes around lookin for Kami, finding Dende, thinking he wished himself younger or something, and could be a fun little moment for popo, yajirobe, korin and dende. Kuriza could be a poacher for Goten and Trunks, showing up to the island looking for neko majin, complaining about revenge, only to find himself making friends with gotenks. when his dad shows up in a later episode he starts to act tough again.
I always liked the movies that fit in the best with the main time line so these are my favorite dbz movie Dead zone, cooler's revenge, broly, and wrath of the dragon and also fusion reborn even though it doesn't fit in as well
I’d like Cooler, Tapion and Janemba to eventually become canon. Cooler could be the lost brother Frieza never knew existed and there could be a brotherly fight to claim the title of space emperor. Tapion could have been from the Trunks future timeline but Zeno destroyed it... The ideal Janemba could be a fallen Angel on par with Whis and the others, therefore triggering a fight that could show what angels can do.

Cooler yes, but also Super Janemba, and for another non-canon character, TOWA. Especially because this builds Pikkon and Dabura by extension. I'd love to see them again.
Janemba makes the most sense to be canon. His origin can happen at any time because it's not contextual to any other characters except an absent-minded oni. Cooler being canon inherently comes with the question: "Where has he been?". Tapion comes with the question, "How did Future Trunks get his sword given the Androids were around?"
Explaining where Cooler was all this time is easy, he wouldn't be a brash idiot like his brother and father were and he would have gone into hiding after hearing about Super Saiyans being real. He would know how brutal saiyans tend to be so he would have waited to get more information on the one that beat his brother in the first place, and after hearing that both his brother AND father were killed on earth he would have stayed the hell away from there. If he were to come back in Super he could have been leading his own empire in some far off reaches of the galaxy avoiding any and all contact with earth, that is until Frieza comes back into the picture and shows off how much stronger his race can become just through simple training and he gets to work trying to catch up with his brothers ability. Bam, now you have a reason for Golden ( Or Diamond Cooler if you want to do a sort of nudge nudge to metal Coolers colors ) Cooler to be a thing and why he didn't come to earth even after attaining the stronger form with his 5th transformation. He may believe himself stronger than his own brother, but he wouldn't find it to be worth the trip to possible die to even stronger saiyans than before. He would only need to come into the story after the ToP seeing as Frieza is alive and ruling the universe again.
+Riko I like your idea, Riko. I wanna tweak it slightly so Cooler's scared of Beerus instead because he was put into a coma and crippled the last time the two met. It took him years to fully recover physically and mentally. He _doesn't_ have an empire anymore because he's afraid that the next planet he visits will have Beerus there. This is why no one talks about him - he's a recluse. So you have the running theme of fear between the brothers but each reacts to it differently. Freiza actively exterminated the Saiyans, but Cooler passively ran away from Beerus. This goes into the next contrast between the two - their underlings. Freiza has an army of jobbers he doesn't care about, but Cooler has his 3-man Attack Squad who he considers family because they're the only ones who waited for him to wake up, helped manned his recovery and fed him information about Freiza (this is how he'd learn about Golden Freiza). The Attack Squad would be god-tier level strong because, after his recovery, Cooler would train _with them_ as opposed to Freiza who trained alone and used his underlings as punching bags. Thus, it would have to be Gohan, Vegeta and 17 to take them out while Goku has to fight Cooler. Cooler would then unlock his 5th Form (to defeat Golden Freiza because he's bitter than Freiza usurped his empire rather than overlooking his recovery) _and_ Diamond Cooler (love your idea) to deal with Beerus himself. Cooler can even willfully use omen ultra instinct a) to mirror how Meta Cooler had Goku's transmission in the movies; b) Cooler's fear of death was a catalyst to his body instinctively dodging. He has just overcome the fear, he's weaponised it; c) because his race is proven to evolve and learn at astonishing speed so OUI would be feasible to unlock in a short time span and d) ....OUI's aura would look gorgeous on Meta Cooler.
If they keep similar stories to the movies when adapting them into canon then they can totally make a new Janemba or Tapion movie/arc. Also I think it’d be cool if there were a little storyline where the Frieda forces had a civil war on whether they should follow Frieda or Cooler
Hm, I remember back in Z when Goku was fighting KidBuu with the final spirit bomb, when the others wished Goku's power back I was like "Oh he's gonna go SSJ3 for this final push!" ... My young self was saddened it didn't happen! lol
I want to see Janemba, just to see his interactions with Buu "You me!" "Nuh-Uh! You me!" "You want pudding?" "Yeah!" "We friends now!" "Friends!"... I'm just assuming that's how it'd go...
Garlic Jr., opens a big door to a future story, especially after the explored lore from his movie and filler saga, a possible escape from the Dead Zone once again, it could involve the Mayko Star and Evil Containment Wave (what better villain to use it on). And retread old ground by expanding and tweaking his past with Kami and how his father's rivalry with him for position of Earth's guardian. I think Garlic Jr. is pretty slept on, so this could reintroduce him to the public image, while providing an interesting tale that isn't about the Saiyans all the time
10:02 I've always had that impression of Cooler from the get-go. Freeza was the prodigy son while Cooler had work for everything he had (the way Cooler treats his henchmen, how thorough he conducts himself, and how he tries not his movements while he fights, and how he discovered his Final Form). I don't like that Heroes gave Cooler a Golden Form as, basing on his trope (bringing more to the table than Freeza), it should have been Platinum Form Cooler.
Well after going through the Dragon ball wiki for info on more movie villains, I picked the following characters to possibly be integrated into canon, after Broly and Cooler. 1. Lord Slug - We haven't really had a Namekian villain since the original King Piccolo. Plus I think Slug could act as a mirror for the new Piccolo we all know and love, a reflection on what he could have been, had he not not grown out of the mindset of ruling the world. At the very least, a namekian villain would be refreshing, after all this time of seeing them as peaceful farmers and warriors. 2. Janemba - He has a cool design, his second form anyways. So that's one point in his favour, but I also see a few ways he could be integrated into the canon. He could be brought in as a powerful figure in Hell itself, like the king. Maybe make him a key part of the universe, similar to Beerus, Weiss and the Kai's. He could also be a former God of Destruction, maybe even the original one, before Beerus dethroned him? Maybe he's an ogre/oni from King Yemma's race who went rogue or was imprisoned in the otherworld for trying to usurp him and the Kai's? 3. Hatchiyack - I find this guy, kind of interesting. He's built to be a weapon to avenge the Tuffles, after their genocide at the hands of the Saiyans. I think in the Dragon Ball series it's easy to forget that the Saiyans, behind the gold, blue, green and red hair transformations, also only got this far, by wiping out the Tuffles. Not conquering, but obliterating the unlucky aliens. I could see this guy being introduced as a project by a group of Tuffles that escaped their planet and were working on him in secret. Or maybe a Freiza Force project, inspired by creatures like Cell and the Androids, to finally destroy the Saiyans that keep killing their leadership.
I have always felt that some of the Movie characters could be made to fight in the main Dragon Ball universe with a little work. Cooler could be readily added in and I feel could be used to help explore what has been going on in the greater universe since Freeza's initial death. After all, why was the army still active if both its primary leaders had been killed? Sorbet did try to keep together those loyal to Freeza, but the army was still fragmented into various groups. And I suspect Paragus had taken control of one groups to form his own faction. Now, where would Cooler fit into this? Well, if the family consisted of Cold, Freeza and Cooler, then it'd be safe to assume that their forces were divided into three sections with each of them in control of a third of the total army. When Freeza died, Sorbet tried to keep Freeza's faction together. When Cold died, Paragus may have taken over that section of the army or those splintering off from both Freeza and Cold's factions. But that still leaves Cooler and his faction of the Army. So what has he been up to this whole time? Well, with each faction fighting over power and territory, Cooler may have retreated quietly to consolidate his power and avoid diminishing his forces in needless fighting. Cooler, to me, always seemed to be the more intelligent member of his family. He shared their arrogance, but in "Revenge of Cooler", he wanted his Squadron to make absolutely certain that Goku had been killed and not leave things up to chance. Cooler wanted to be thorough and didn't want to repeat the same mistakes as the rest of his family. Unfortunately the movies didn't leave him much room to develop as a character. But if he were to be brought into Super, it could help answer some question as well as expand upon the lore and history of Freeza's race. I don't believe their entire race consists of the three of them. Just that their family had been the strongest for many centuries, so their rule had been unquestioned. But with the demise of Freeza and Cold, their families power and influence was severely diminished, which could allow for other families to rise to power during the in-fighting between the three main factions. Which is why I feel Cooler would stay out of the fighting and instead focus on keeping the other Frostdemons or Changelings in line. Though I feel their race should have a name more reflective of what Toriyama pictured Freeza as. Freeza was likened to a Loan Shark, as talked about in one of MasakoX's videos. Freeza is also a space tyrant and can breathe in space. So a name reflecting these two traits would seem more appropriate. Such as Space Shark. I am not versed in the kanji or katakana for these two words to best combine them. Maybe something like Kuusamejin (kuu frok 'Kuukan' for space and 'same' meaning shark). I feel Cooler would be more involved in the political theater behind the scenes. Rebuilding their empire quietly while the other two factions fight it out and, perhaps, building more of a trust and hierarchy among the Kuusamejin, with Cooler as Emperor and other's taking on the ranks and titles of Nobles like Greater Noble, Duke, Grand Duke, Baron and so forth. This would create a new social and political structure within the Empire and may even allow others of their race to make appearances throughout the show or even show up in other works. But things don't go as well when Freeza is revived after the Tournament of Power. While he was revived before in RoF, he didn't focus on reclaiming and rebuilding his resources. He focused on getting stronger to kill Goku. But now though, as seen at the end of Super, he was rebuilding his army and we'll see more of them in this upcoming movie. Which will pose a problem to a new Empire under Cooler's leadership.
Honestly I love the idea behind Jambea, but he would have to be either a last min bigger bad of an arch, or something that goes on throughout an arch with the living heroes being unaware, until they are clued in and come to help. The second way could mean cameos from plenty of dead characters, or more of the gods and other world staff. Slug also could be worked in pretty easily, or other banished Nameks that didn’t fit the status quo. A separate colony, or a gang living on a space port planet. See some of Vegeta’s past as the hero’s help or fight the outcasted Nameks. Basically , more races and planets/locations outside of Earth and New Namek! Less Rocks!
Watch there be a after credit scene for the broly movie and then you see frieza reuniting with his brother realizing he would need help to take care of goku, vegeta, and broly(if he either survives or becomes good). And maybe you see them have a little fued like goku and vegeta to see who is truly the strongest of the family
No chances are if we go with canon bardock and king vegeta and not there time breaker versions they would most likely try to invade earth and get slaughtered by the z fighter
I came up with a pretty dope concept. What if Gohan, Goten, and Trunks were there a little before the time Bardock attempted to fight Freiza? Preferably before Goku was put into the escape pod. Hear me out. Goku and Vegeta are training with Whiz(Probably spelled it wrong). Whiz then tells them that they're moving on to a new training phase and ask if they can handle it. Goku is super excited and Vegeta says "Of course. Something something prince of all sayins something something something not a challenge." Goku suddenly realises that he never knew the whole all the details about Vegeta being a prince and ask about it. Vegeta's Father ends up in the conversation and Whiz joins in too.(I think he couldn't help but provide some details even Vegeta may not know about.) Then Goku starts thinking about his biological father. Goku then ask Whiz if he could go back in time to talk to his pops and, let's be honest, possibly sparr with him. (Idk if Vegeta should still be within earshot at this point because if he is then he'd want to get in on it. Don't worry though, King Vegeta isn't gonna die this time :T) This is where I'm pulling a Toriyama and making Whiz basically say "Sure. Why not." *Toriyama started it* Long story short, Bulma crafts a time machine but it's not a pod this time. I'm steal that super monkey ball design. (well I guess android 17 did that already........*whatever*) Trunk and Goten go into the lab. Gohan see them. Trunks shows Goten this dope, newly designed capsule. It has numbers on it representing the amount of time you want to jump backwards or forwards. Gohan appears directly behind them and ask what they're doing with that capsule. The two kids get startled and Trunks presses the button without realizing it. The button doubles as a start button *how convenient* and off they go!
I think introducing Cooler would be dope. It would give Freeza someone to directly compare to and maybe push him closer to a true G.O.D. form when he and Cooler reach a draw in strength in golden form.
I'm with you on everything. I think it can be done. And just cause of the time the movies these characters were introduced in takes place. In Xenoverse 2, time is being changed through the use of movie villains, or villains from 'alternate timelines'. But when certain characters appear, people actually recognize them, like when Cooler shows up on a dying Namek, Frieza literally says "Is that you!?" Even in the DLCs that happens, like in Future Trunks's timeline Fu gives Trunks an ally, Tapion himself, and I don't know about you, but I think he knows who he is. Meanwhile, there's Gogeta. He's another story. In fact, to this day I'm convinced he's canon and has all the tools he needs to become canon if he really isn't considered already. Goku and Vegeta probably just haven't gotten around to the requiring moment to perform the fusion dance, not to mention Vegeta's unwillingness to 'move like a river' if you know what I mean.
Well, I wouldn't at all say that Gogeta isn't going to happen in canon - If you look at the 3 movies that are coming out in theaters remastered before the Super movie, we've got the first Broly movie (He's the main villain), The Bardock special (possibly saw him in the trailer and it adds to the "history of the saiyans"), and then we have Fusion Reborn. I think that heavily points to Gogeta happening in this upcoming movie, which im hella excited about. There was also a tweet that said something along the lines of "If you think Goku is going to be the victor this time around, you may be disappointed". That's not verbatim, but it was along those lines. Otherwise I'd love to see Bojack, Tapion, and Cooler come into the canon. I know you already said two of those but man, Cooler is my favorite villain and Tapion is super cool. I also love the idea of him providing Kid Trunks with the character development he's long since needed.
I definatly agree with you here masako. some movie characters should become canon and I think that Cooler, Tapion and Gogeta would be the best choices. (also Jenemba could work too).
Interesting! Myself, I have hunch that they will try to redefine what a Dragon Ball movie is. Whereas the older movies are very self-contained, where all the elements that impact the plot are all on screen and explained, I think the new movie will definitely display a much bigger world, where the universe doesn't just serve as a backdrop, but are key to understanding the plot
BTW, I love your re-imagining of Cooler. Having him and Freeza fighting over who gets to control the Freeza empire is such an interesting idea! Now, if you make Cooler the stronger of the two, maybe give Cooler an OP power-up later in the story, then this gives the Z-fighters a reason to join sides with Freeza,

Seeing as how the Broly movie will go back in time and show events surrounding the destruction of planet Vegeta I feel like a Cooler cameo is totally possible in the film.
Actually their is something i just noticed about broly and paragause's clothes, the more you look at it it seems to look even similar to cooler's squadrons colors
During the time that DBS introduced the Gods of Destruction, the Angels, and etc. Janemba and Dabura came instantly to mind on who they could bring in next (and to me, it makes perfect sense.) Just in playing DBXV2 alone I had no idea that Dabura had so much depth to his character to where I feel that he was a bit "under utilized" in the show. It would be a crime not to have Cumber canon, I actually could see him being hidden away in some undisclosed location in Universe 11... and lastly: Baby, in hindsight, had the best backstory / story arc from GT and that could very easily could be fleshed out in a full-length featured film.
Does anyone want to discuss the striking similarities between the Tree of Might and Beerus' tree? It's even mentioned in the movie that the fruit is where the gods themselves draw their power.
Janemba has my favorite villain design by far. I think the show could tap into more of the Demon /Devil world. I'm surprised MaKaioshin haven't been introduced in the show
Bojack could be brought back too, just have some plot involving Hit. Maybe Bojack copies Hits powers somehow or finds a way to nullify Hit's abilities so Hit comes to Goku for help... only to find the strongest person on earth atm is.... Gohan. *Together* Hit and Gohan put their strategic genius minds together and defeat Bojack and his gang before something terrible happens in Universe 6. I think there could be some jaw dropping fight scenes with Hit utilizing his abilities with Gohan, moving Gohan, phasing Gohan to another reality to avoid being struck. There's so much potential there!
I think cooler could make a comeback , like Frieza decides to gather some powerful fighters to take on Goku and he turns to his big brother (who could’ve been In prisoned by Frieza himself possibly so Frieza could rise to power unrivaled , Frieza could’ve framed him in the past so his father would take his side ) . He tells cooler that the saiyans killed their father and erradicated his army , he then persuades him to forgive his past actions to team up . They train together for awhile , recruit some other fighters possibly from other universes , new tech to make them stronger , genetic modification etc etc and attack earth . I would like to see a Vegeta and Goku vs Frieza and Cooler , while the other Z-fighters take on other grunts
Cooler and Broly both deserve canon status the others though deserve to be fired out of a canon, except for turles and slug xenoverse 2 made them super likable like cooler, unlike broly who is just super cool looks and power wise, personality wise he deserves to be a canon ball as well but, he's so cool so you know

Talking about gorgeous backgrounds and doesn't even mention the Tree of Might? With the tree towering over everything and looking like a regular tree but with an alien design with weird holes and giant roots? That was one of the best looking DBZ shots for just an entirely bleak atmosphere.
With the official introduction of the multiverse, actually every previous movie could be canon now. They just need to say things like "character XXX is from a different timeline of a different universe and happens to appear because of something happened".
And also, something with Cooler if he gets integrated into the show: They maybe could rewrite his character to be someone much smarter than Freeza but not necessarily stronger. He could maybe be like Frost except better. He wears this mask of being friendly and kind unlike Freeza but behind the mask hes a scheming evil person. He could be fueled by his parents neglect of him and focus on his brother and maybe he wants to kill his brother. So he hears all about what happened to him with Goku and how Freeza obtained his final and Golden forms. When he hears this he trains hard to reach that level and then travels to Earth. He meets Goku and, like Frost, befriends him and all the Z-Fighters and others (maybe except Vegeta idk). So, when the time comes to kick Freeza's ass again, the Z-Fighter and Goku and Vegeta beat down Freeza but then Cooler swoops in and kills Freeza for himself. He then proceeds to unmask his true potential and motives and basically kicks the Z-Fighters ass including Goku and Vegeta. He then proceeds to take over Freeza's army and starts his universe conquering. So then the Z-Fighters are now training to get to new heights of power and beat Cooler. Not only would this set up for a new arc in Dragon Ball Super, unlike any we have seen before, it will set up the Z-Fighters to reach new heights in their power and maybe Goku unlocking Ultra Instinct for good. I think this would be a great idea and something new for the series. P.S: Final fight has to take place on either Earth or New Planet Namek. The movie villians I want to see made canon are Cooler and Bojack. Cooler can provide a more interesting story now that Frieza's back, but I'm honestly more interested with Bojack. I would love to see more "Galaxy Soldiers" like him and his crew in the anime because they were just so damn cool to me. Also, I agree wholeheartedly with Masako on the whole secondary characters getting more love thing, especially the Earthlings. I know Saiyans are the poster boys of Dragonball because the main character of the whole damn franchise was revealed to be a Saiyan back in Z, but I think showcasing some new school Earthling fighters would be a good way to try and recapture some of that old school Dragonball magic. Maybe a good idea for a spin off series could center around a new generation of warriors who look after the Earth. I came up with a similar idea which revolved around an older Future Trunks, his students, and possibly even his child/children. But what if Trunks died without having kids and the responsibility of protecting the Earth fell to his students? Seeing as Trunks was their master, these new warriors would dedicate themselves to becoming as strong as possible and fight to end any threat as quickly as possible. That's pretty much why some fans say Trunks can't be the main character, because then every fight would be over in five seconds.
Janemba. I love Cooler, he's my favorite movie villain, but I think Janemba is better suited for Super. Janemba would be the perfect villain, something that even the angels and Gods of Destruction couldn't ignore. I could see his reality warping powers effecting and altering the entire multiverse. It would give an excuse for characters like the Pride Troopers and Universe 6 Saiyans to get involved. Maybe connect him to the demon realm somehow. That way they can use lesser demons to act as subordinates and canon fodder for lesser and side characters to beat up. Maybe since demons aren't exactly of the multiverse they are immune to Zeno's powers making him a non factor and helping to ramp up the tension a bit. There's a lot that could be done with a character and concept like Janemba.

Broly and Paragus' colors look familiar? They're actually part of Cooler's army. Also among Cooler's ranks? Turles, whose first mission was to recruit Namek's strongest warrior who was--you guessed it!--Lord Slug. Frieza wouldn't let Cooler get a hand on his tech, so Cooler had to look elsewhere, eventually finding what he needed in Dr. Wheelo, who built Android 13 in this universe.
And that's only the tip of the iceberg. This film will be the most ambitious crossover event in recent history, featuring every last DBZ movie villain! Bojack? Space pirate, Frieza's fiercest rival and Broly's first target. Janemba? Created by King Yemma to combat Golden Frieza, but ends up going rogue. Garlic Jr.? He joins the good guys and sends Broly to the Dead Zone. Hirudegarn? Why, that's where we have our romantic subplot, as his torso searches the universe for his other half.

Interesting idea about them being part of Cooler's army, but the fact is ever since Super / Resurrection F the Freeza army's armour has changed to be more squared, less rounded, and brighter colored. It's like they took Freeza's death as an opportunity to finally redesign everything.

They could even make Cooler more of an anti-hero. If it is a monarchy in the Frieza Empire and Cooler isn't the ruler or in line for it, he would have to be sterile. I think there was a mention of this somewhere.

In Frieza's defense, Vegeta was just a grunt to him at first and he ended up taking out Frieza's top generals, destroying Frieza's hopes for immortality, and constantly taunted him with the Super Saiyan form that Frieza's race was supposed to fear (plus or minus retcons). Considering Frieza probably had it easy all his life, getting brutal on Namek was probably more of an exception than a rule for his character. Then again, I can't remember Super rn.

Fair, because its been said many times that Frieza's polite and debonair demeanor is very much just a facade for his barbarity. It's a face he puts on. If anything it'd be fun if Cooler thinks he's childish and weak for even bothering with the facade. Indeed the sibling rivalry idea is very much a good one.

I would love to see Cooler in a different light as a villain. Something that makes Cooler a stark contrast to his younger brother, like making him into someone who fights respectfully and has a code of honor but still retain his villainous status. He could be someone who does not have any interest in leading an empire, he instead seeking new heights of power (which eventually led him to achieve his fourth transformation) and challenging worthy opponents.

God, I want Cooler to be canon. And seeing Broly getting canonized, this gives me hope to see my favorite villain return as well and in canon. Garlic could take place during the tournement of power while people are offworld, he comes around lookin for Kami, finding Dende, thinking he wished himself younger or something, and could be a fun little moment for popo, yajirobe, korin and dende.
Kuriza could be a poacher for Goten and Trunks, showing up to the island looking for neko majin, complaining about revenge, only to find himself making friends with gotenks. when his dad shows up in a later episode he starts to act tough again.

Janemba makes the most sense to be canon. His origin can happen at any time because it's not contextual to any other characters except an absent-minded oni. Cooler being canon inherently comes with the question: "Where has he been?". Tapion comes with the question, "How did Future Trunks get his sword given the Androids were around?"
How do you know they're different? GT isn't canon and we're not talking about making Janemba canon to GT.

Explaining where Cooler was all this time is easy, he wouldn't be a brash idiot like his brother and father were and he would have gone into hiding after hearing about Super Saiyans being real. He would know how brutal saiyans tend to be so he would have waited to get more information on the one that beat his brother in the first place, and after hearing that both his brother AND father were killed on earth he would have stayed the hell away from there.
If he were to come back in Super he could have been leading his own empire in some far off reaches of the galaxy avoiding any and all contact with earth, that is until Frieza comes back into the picture and shows off how much stronger his race can become just through simple training and he gets to work trying to catch up with his brothers ability.
Bam, now you have a reason for Golden ( Or Diamond Cooler if you want to do a sort of nudge nudge to metal Coolers colors ) Cooler to be a thing and why he didn't come to earth even after attaining the stronger form with his 5th transformation. He may believe himself stronger than his own brother, but he wouldn't find it to be worth the trip to possible die to even stronger saiyans than before.
He would only need to come into the story after the ToP seeing as Frieza is alive and ruling the universe again.
+Riko I like your idea, Riko. I wanna tweak it slightly so Cooler's scared of Beerus instead because he was put into a coma and crippled the last time the two met. It took him years to fully recover physically and mentally. He _doesn't_ have an empire anymore because he's afraid that the next planet he visits will have Beerus there. This is why no one talks about him - he's a recluse. So you have the running theme of fear between the brothers but each reacts to it differently. Freiza actively exterminated the Saiyans, but Cooler passively ran away from Beerus.
This goes into the next contrast between the two - their underlings. Freiza has an army of jobbers he doesn't care about, but Cooler has his 3-man Attack Squad who he considers family because they're the only ones who waited for him to wake up, helped manned his recovery and fed him information about Freiza (this is how he'd learn about Golden Freiza). The Attack Squad would be god-tier level strong because, after his recovery, Cooler would train _with them_ as opposed to Freiza who trained alone and used his underlings as punching bags. Thus, it would have to be Gohan, Vegeta and 17 to take them out while Goku has to fight Cooler.
Cooler would then unlock his 5th Form (to defeat Golden Freiza because he's bitter than Freiza usurped his empire rather than overlooking his recovery) _and_ Diamond Cooler (love your idea) to deal with Beerus himself. Cooler can even willfully use omen ultra instinct a) to mirror how Meta Cooler had Goku's transmission in the movies; b) Cooler's fear of death was a catalyst to his body instinctively dodging. He has just overcome the fear, he's weaponised it; c) because his race is proven to evolve and learn at astonishing speed so OUI would be feasible to unlock in a short time span and d) ....OUI's aura would look gorgeous on Meta Cooler.

Garlic Jr., opens a big door to a future story, especially after the explored lore from his movie and filler saga, a possible escape from the Dead Zone once again, it could involve the Mayko Star and Evil Containment Wave (what better villain to use it on). And retread old ground by expanding and tweaking his past with Kami and how his father's rivalry with him for position of Earth's guardian. I think Garlic Jr. is pretty slept on, so this could reintroduce him to the public image, while providing an interesting tale that isn't about the Saiyans all the time

10:02 I've always had that impression of Cooler from the get-go. Freeza was the prodigy son while Cooler had work for everything he had (the way Cooler treats his henchmen, how thorough he conducts himself, and how he tries not his movements while he fights, and how he discovered his Final Form). I don't like that Heroes gave Cooler a Golden Form as, basing on his trope (bringing more to the table than Freeza), it should have been Platinum Form Cooler.

Well after going through the Dragon ball wiki for info on more movie villains, I picked the following characters to possibly be integrated into canon, after Broly and Cooler.
1. Lord Slug - We haven't really had a Namekian villain since the original King Piccolo. Plus I think Slug could act as a mirror for the new Piccolo we all know and love, a reflection on what he could have been, had he not not grown out of the mindset of ruling the world. At the very least, a namekian villain would be refreshing, after all this time of seeing them as peaceful farmers and warriors.
2. Janemba - He has a cool design, his second form anyways. So that's one point in his favour, but I also see a few ways he could be integrated into the canon. He could be brought in as a powerful figure in Hell itself, like the king. Maybe make him a key part of the universe, similar to Beerus, Weiss and the Kai's. He could also be a former God of Destruction, maybe even the original one, before Beerus dethroned him? Maybe he's an ogre/oni from King Yemma's race who went rogue or was imprisoned in the otherworld for trying to usurp him and the Kai's?
3. Hatchiyack - I find this guy, kind of interesting. He's built to be a weapon to avenge the Tuffles, after their genocide at the hands of the Saiyans. I think in the Dragon Ball series it's easy to forget that the Saiyans, behind the gold, blue, green and red hair transformations, also only got this far, by wiping out the Tuffles. Not conquering, but obliterating the unlucky aliens. I could see this guy being introduced as a project by a group of Tuffles that escaped their planet and were working on him in secret. Or maybe a Freiza Force project, inspired by creatures like Cell and the Androids, to finally destroy the Saiyans that keep killing their leadership.

I have always felt that some of the Movie characters could be made to fight in the main Dragon Ball universe with a little work. Cooler could be readily added in and I feel could be used to help explore what has been going on in the greater universe since Freeza's initial death. After all, why was the army still active if both its primary leaders had been killed? Sorbet did try to keep together those loyal to Freeza, but the army was still fragmented into various groups. And I suspect Paragus had taken control of one groups to form his own faction.
Now, where would Cooler fit into this? Well, if the family consisted of Cold, Freeza and Cooler, then it'd be safe to assume that their forces were divided into three sections with each of them in control of a third of the total army. When Freeza died, Sorbet tried to keep Freeza's faction together. When Cold died, Paragus may have taken over that section of the army or those splintering off from both Freeza and Cold's factions. But that still leaves Cooler and his faction of the Army. So what has he been up to this whole time? Well, with each faction fighting over power and territory, Cooler may have retreated quietly to consolidate his power and avoid diminishing his forces in needless fighting.
Cooler, to me, always seemed to be the more intelligent member of his family. He shared their arrogance, but in "Revenge of Cooler", he wanted his Squadron to make absolutely certain that Goku had been killed and not leave things up to chance. Cooler wanted to be thorough and didn't want to repeat the same mistakes as the rest of his family. Unfortunately the movies didn't leave him much room to develop as a character. But if he were to be brought into Super, it could help answer some question as well as expand upon the lore and history of Freeza's race.
I don't believe their entire race consists of the three of them. Just that their family had been the strongest for many centuries, so their rule had been unquestioned. But with the demise of Freeza and Cold, their families power and influence was severely diminished, which could allow for other families to rise to power during the in-fighting between the three main factions. Which is why I feel Cooler would stay out of the fighting and instead focus on keeping the other Frostdemons or Changelings in line. Though I feel their race should have a name more reflective of what Toriyama pictured Freeza as. Freeza was likened to a Loan Shark, as talked about in one of MasakoX's videos. Freeza is also a space tyrant and can breathe in space. So a name reflecting these two traits would seem more appropriate. Such as Space Shark. I am not versed in the kanji or katakana for these two words to best combine them. Maybe something like Kuusamejin (kuu frok 'Kuukan' for space and 'same' meaning shark).
I feel Cooler would be more involved in the political theater behind the scenes. Rebuilding their empire quietly while the other two factions fight it out and, perhaps, building more of a trust and hierarchy among the Kuusamejin, with Cooler as Emperor and other's taking on the ranks and titles of Nobles like Greater Noble, Duke, Grand Duke, Baron and so forth. This would create a new social and political structure within the Empire and may even allow others of their race to make appearances throughout the show or even show up in other works.
But things don't go as well when Freeza is revived after the Tournament of Power. While he was revived before in RoF, he didn't focus on reclaiming and rebuilding his resources. He focused on getting stronger to kill Goku. But now though, as seen at the end of Super, he was rebuilding his army and we'll see more of them in this upcoming movie. Which will pose a problem to a new Empire under Cooler's leadership.
Honestly I love the idea behind Jambea, but he would have to be either a last min bigger bad of an arch, or something that goes on throughout an arch with the living heroes being unaware, until they are clued in and come to help. The second way could mean cameos from plenty of dead characters, or more of the gods and other world staff. Slug also could be worked in pretty easily, or other banished Nameks that didn’t fit the status quo. A separate colony, or a gang living on a space port planet. See some of Vegeta’s past as the hero’s help or fight the outcasted Nameks. Basically , more races and planets/locations outside of Earth and New Namek! Less Rocks!

Goku is super excited and Vegeta says "Of course. Something something prince of all sayins something something something not a challenge." Goku suddenly realises that he never knew the whole all the details about Vegeta being a prince and ask about it. Vegeta's Father ends up in the conversation and Whiz joins in too.(I think he couldn't help but provide some details even Vegeta may not know about.) Then Goku starts thinking about his biological father. Goku then ask Whiz if he could go back in time to talk to his pops and, let's be honest, possibly sparr with him. (Idk if Vegeta should still be within earshot at this point because if he is then he'd want to get in on it. Don't worry though, King Vegeta isn't gonna die this time :T) This is where I'm pulling a Toriyama and making Whiz basically say "Sure. Why not." *Toriyama started it*
Long story short, Bulma crafts a time machine but it's not a pod this time. I'm steal that super monkey ball design. (well I guess android 17 did that already........*whatever*) Trunk and Goten go into the lab. Gohan see them. Trunks shows Goten this dope, newly designed capsule. It has numbers on it representing the amount of time you want to jump backwards or forwards. Gohan appears directly behind them and ask what they're doing with that capsule. The two kids get startled and Trunks presses the button without realizing it. The button doubles as a start button *how convenient* and off they go!
I think introducing Cooler would be dope. It would give Freeza someone to directly compare to and maybe push him closer to a true G.O.D. form when he and Cooler reach a draw in strength in golden form.

I'm with you on everything. I think it can be done. And just cause of the time the movies these characters were introduced in takes place. In Xenoverse 2, time is being changed through the use of movie villains, or villains from 'alternate timelines'. But when certain characters appear, people actually recognize them, like when Cooler shows up on a dying Namek, Frieza literally says "Is that you!?" Even in the DLCs that happens, like in Future Trunks's timeline Fu gives Trunks an ally, Tapion himself, and I don't know about you, but I think he knows who he is.
Meanwhile, there's Gogeta. He's another story. In fact, to this day I'm convinced he's canon and has all the tools he needs to become canon if he really isn't considered already. Goku and Vegeta probably just haven't gotten around to the requiring moment to perform the fusion dance, not to mention Vegeta's unwillingness to 'move like a river' if you know what I mean.

I would definitely love to see Cooler, Tapion, and Janemba appear in canon. Bojack would be cool for a short "mini arc" villain as well.
Well, I wouldn't at all say that Gogeta isn't going to happen in canon - If you look at the 3 movies that are coming out in theaters remastered before the Super movie, we've got the first Broly movie (He's the main villain), The Bardock special (possibly saw him in the trailer and it adds to the "history of the saiyans"), and then we have Fusion Reborn. I think that heavily points to Gogeta happening in this upcoming movie, which im hella excited about.
There was also a tweet that said something along the lines of "If you think Goku is going to be the victor this time around, you may be disappointed". That's not verbatim, but it was along those lines.
Otherwise I'd love to see Bojack, Tapion, and Cooler come into the canon. I know you already said two of those but man, Cooler is my favorite villain and Tapion is super cool. I also love the idea of him providing Kid Trunks with the character development he's long since needed.

Interesting! Myself, I have hunch that they will try to redefine what a Dragon Ball movie is. Whereas the older movies are very self-contained, where all the elements that impact the plot are all on screen and explained, I think the new movie will definitely display a much bigger world, where the universe doesn't just serve as a backdrop, but are key to understanding the plot
BTW, I love your re-imagining of Cooler. Having him and Freeza fighting over who gets to control the Freeza empire is such an interesting idea! Now, if you make Cooler the stronger of the two, maybe give Cooler an OP power-up later in the story, then this gives the Z-fighters a reason to join sides with Freeza,

During the time that DBS introduced the Gods of Destruction, the Angels, and etc. Janemba and Dabura came instantly to mind on who they could bring in next (and to me, it makes perfect sense.) Just in playing DBXV2 alone I had no idea that Dabura had so much depth to his character to where I feel that he was a bit "under utilized" in the show.
It would be a crime not to have Cumber canon, I actually could see him being hidden away in some undisclosed location in Universe 11...
and lastly: Baby, in hindsight, had the best backstory / story arc from GT and that could very easily could be fleshed out in a full-length featured film.

Turlus would be cool to re-explore. Bring Bardock back too. That would be awesome to see Goku react to his dad and vice versa.
Bojack could be brought back too, just have some plot involving Hit. Maybe Bojack copies Hits powers somehow or finds a way to nullify Hit's abilities so Hit comes to Goku for help... only to find the strongest person on earth atm is.... Gohan. *Together* Hit and Gohan put their strategic genius minds together and defeat Bojack and his gang before something terrible happens in Universe 6. I think there could be some jaw dropping fight scenes with Hit utilizing his abilities with Gohan, moving Gohan, phasing Gohan to another reality to avoid being struck. There's so much potential there!
I think cooler could make a comeback , like Frieza decides to gather some powerful fighters to take on Goku and he turns to his big brother (who could’ve been In prisoned by Frieza himself possibly so Frieza could rise to power unrivaled , Frieza could’ve framed him in the past so his father would take his side ) . He tells cooler that the saiyans killed their father and erradicated his army , he then persuades him to forgive his past actions to team up . They train together for awhile , recruit some other fighters possibly from other universes , new tech to make them stronger , genetic modification etc etc and attack earth . I would like to see a Vegeta and Goku vs Frieza and Cooler , while the other Z-fighters take on other grunts

Cooler and Broly both deserve canon status the others though deserve to be fired out of a canon, except for turles and slug xenoverse 2 made them super likable like cooler, unlike broly who is just super cool looks and power wise, personality wise he deserves to be a canon ball as well but, he's so cool so you know

As a recent fan of Cooler I have to agree. After interacting with Cooler in Xenoverse 2, I really appreciated his character and motives. So I respected Cooler over Frieza.

Talking about gorgeous backgrounds and doesn't even mention the Tree of Might? With the tree towering over everything and looking like a regular tree but with an alien design with weird holes and giant roots? That was one of the best looking DBZ shots for just an entirely bleak atmosphere.
With the official introduction of the multiverse, actually every previous movie could be canon now. They just need to say things like "character XXX is from a different timeline of a different universe and happens to appear because of something happened".
What if Tapion stuck around
And also, something with Cooler if he gets integrated into the show:
They maybe could rewrite his character to be someone much smarter than Freeza but not necessarily stronger. He could maybe be like Frost except better. He wears this mask of being friendly and kind unlike Freeza but behind the mask hes a scheming evil person. He could be fueled by his parents neglect of him and focus on his brother and maybe he wants to kill his brother. So he hears all about what happened to him with Goku and how Freeza obtained his final and Golden forms. When he hears this he trains hard to reach that level and then travels to Earth. He meets Goku and, like Frost, befriends him and all the Z-Fighters and others (maybe except Vegeta idk). So, when the time comes to kick Freeza's ass again, the Z-Fighter and Goku and Vegeta beat down Freeza but then Cooler swoops in and kills Freeza for himself. He then proceeds to unmask his true potential and motives and basically kicks the Z-Fighters ass including Goku and Vegeta. He then proceeds to take over Freeza's army and starts his universe conquering. So then the Z-Fighters are now training to get to new heights of power and beat Cooler.
Not only would this set up for a new arc in Dragon Ball Super, unlike any we have seen before, it will set up the Z-Fighters to reach new heights in their power and maybe Goku unlocking Ultra Instinct for good. I think this would be a great idea and something new for the series.
P.S: Final fight has to take place on either Earth or New Planet Namek.

The movie villians I want to see made canon are Cooler and Bojack. Cooler can provide a more interesting story now that Frieza's back, but I'm honestly more interested with Bojack. I would love to see more "Galaxy Soldiers" like him and his crew in the anime because they were just so damn cool to me. Also, I agree wholeheartedly with Masako on the whole secondary characters getting more love thing, especially the Earthlings. I know Saiyans are the poster boys of Dragonball because the main character of the whole damn franchise was revealed to be a Saiyan back in Z, but I think showcasing some new school Earthling fighters would be a good way to try and recapture some of that old school Dragonball magic. Maybe a good idea for a spin off series could center around a new generation of warriors who look after the Earth. I came up with a similar idea which revolved around an older Future Trunks, his students, and possibly even his child/children. But what if Trunks died without having kids and the responsibility of protecting the Earth fell to his students? Seeing as Trunks was their master, these new warriors would dedicate themselves to becoming as strong as possible and fight to end any threat as quickly as possible. That's pretty much why some fans say Trunks can't be the main character, because then every fight would be over in five seconds.
An interesting video, though I think Cooler was much less cruel than Frieza and a lot more efficient.
