I buy made in USA as much as I can. My Wesco boots are fantastic at $560, my Miller Bros Blades knives are both excellent $1800. I only have one issue. $$$. On some items I buy on best bang for the buck. Many times those items are not made in USA, or are only constructed in I USA, but all materials are not made in USA... when I’m buying best I can get, and the highest cost I can afford, I always look for USA made first. But that’s not always the case. My STIHL MS 461 is made in Germany, and so was my dad’s 044, 028 Super AV, and 026 chainsaw. I love my Country “USA”, and I’m still going to buy these boots!
These boots are made in Vietnam not China. I’ve been wearing these boots for over a year as a forklift operator and motorcycle rider. I’m very rough on boots. The upper and lower part of the boot is exceptional quality. I’m on my 3rd insole so far and my outsole is starting to come apart. The grip of the sole on every kind of surface is outstanding. I’ll be getting another pair soon unless Made in a China is on the label.
I just bought a pair of these today. . I've wanted them for 2 years, but put it off due to being cheap.. my feet changed my mind, as did my wife lol. Anyhow, I'm a forklift driver as well, paper trucks, box clamps ect. I also ride a motorcycle everyday rain or shine. Haven't got on the bike with them yet, but the square toe has got to be epic for shifting! Have you rode in the rain with them, How do they hold up?

I have the older version of this workhog and in my opinion they are the best pair of boots I have ever owned. I like wearing boots but never was able to wear them for any length of time. That said the first time I slipped on a pair of Ariat workhogs I was hooked. These are every bit as comfortable as my favorite pair of Nikes. Seriously the soft but firm sole and footbed make these the most comfortable boots!coming up on 2 years and it’s time to retire them. Looking forward to trying the updated model. I did want to replace the insole but have never received answers to several requests to Ariat cust. srvc emails. If someone can tell me where I can buy the exact replacement insoles I would be grateful.Thank you!
I have square to work hogs. They are just tan, but these have held up a year for me so far. I work in concrete construction. The problem with them is they squeek, and by the eight hr mark become a bit uncomfortable to me.
I have the steel toe square toe version of these best boots I’ve owned in my life had em for 3 years they got the shit beat out of em form workin in concrete to goin in the woods and goin fishin ect love these boots
love your reviews interested in maybe getting a pair of these, but one topic that is never really touched on is the weight of the boot. I'm looking for a pair that doesn't feel like im dragging a ball and chain around on my feet for 12hrs and insight on how heavy these actually feel?
Love the channel. I'm a western boot guy myself with over 40 pair of boots total. There are some Frye and Red Wing spread in there. My wife calls me a boot whore...lol
Hey boot guy, I've never bought, much less wore a pair of boot. My question is, in relation to regular shoe size, how far and which direction should I go to determine my boot size and fit. Keep in mind I almost always wear 2 pair of socks.
I have a pair and though not as comfortable as the workhog (not a work boot) they are very well made and very comfortable esp once broken in. At first I was a bit disappointed with the comfort but after a few months ( don’t wear daily) they have become my favorite non work boot. It’s too bad they are made in China. I’m hoping Ariat will look at moving production to USA. Especially with Covid-19 I think any manufacturer should do anything possible to move to US.
Just got these work hog's and let me say after the first hour of wearing them I'll never by another pull on work boot. Comfortable!!!!!!!! Seems very very well built. Not heavy like other work boots I've had recently. Ariat got these right!
As always a great detailed review. Had 2 of the old WorkHogs and they do not last at all..will Fall apart by the 6 month mark. They are also uncomfortable for extended shifts (14-18 hours) I'm in oil/gas and lots of other guys that work with me have the same opinion:Looks good but do not last or are comfortable. Thorogood,RW or Danners (American made) are the way to go if you are messing with oil, fuel or lubricants. I get more life out of a thorogood wedge sole than that Ariat garbage.
It's not the boot but the amount of time you are spending in them that is wearing them out prematurely. You should have multiple pairs and air them out between wearings. Leather, rubber and other materials need time to breath and fully dry out. Try a PEET boot dryer and that will resolve most issues.
I do alternate pairs, amost times I have 3 pairs in rotation, and you are right I should buy a peet..has been on my list for quite sometime. Now,the quality wasn't there.I had the old, first edition workhogs, honestly I dont know how these new ones will perform. They would just not keep up with RW 400 or 606 been used in the same rotation. Ariat soles and leather would not keep up with oil and lubricants on a daily basis, and the fact that they are not serviceable does not help any. Ariat just cant
Do you have any experience with Twisted X work boots? I don't see any reviews anywhere, so I'm sceptical of buying them. Im in the market for a new pair of "Western" waterproof comp toe work boots. I usually buy Ariat, Justin, and Cody James
Hey boot guy! Love your videos. I was wondering if you could help me. I got really high arches and want another pair of pull ons. Do you have any suggestions?
Nope moved on to this [ The Boot Guy Reviews ] and my real day job. I do miss working retail on the weekend's some of the best conversations with different guys from different fields of work.

3:00 They can be resoled I just had my Ariats workhogs Patriot boots resoled in Mexico....
I have had many ariats and most of them with hold the water. My black pair of cowboy boots are extremely waterproof I stand in the creek to go crawfishing. So I wouldn’t doubt it if they are.
Most likely not. But don't let me discourage you from trying to pair on. I once worked on a site with a guy who had a similar operation. He would have a shoemaker install a zipper into the side of his pull on boots to help him get it on and off.
I’ve got the older model and it says China in the shaft sadly. It’s really difficult to find a similar style booth made in USA but I’m looking for it in my next work boot. Might even fork out the money for Nick’s… just wish they did a pull-on. Really trying to make the shift to everything USA made as much as possible.
I love cowboy boots but i can’t wear my cowboy boots on a concrete factory floor all day. Can these boots take a concrete factory floor for 11 hr shifts without killing my feet ? P? My cheap tennis shoes I currently wear have almost no arch support are killing by the end of the day. I feel like I’m getting a painful heel spur in my right heel. I have a pair of comfortable Ariat Cowboy boots for the weekends but I don’t want to mess up my out on the town boots as work. I wonder if theses work hogs can handle a factory floor?
so I want em but when k try them on my left foot seems bigger and is actually snug in the ankle. while my right is more loose on there a fix or am I just chuck with laces
Been trying to pick my next pull on work boot. Now I’m getting these boots, Because of this video! Thank you
The nicest, good looking, well done and comfortable boot I ever own... I love so much this boots that I had to buy two pairs 💪😉👌
Love the channel man keep up the good work, just bought a pair of these and loving them way more then Justin’s

I love the inside cloth it’s very comfortable no more leather blister burns :)
About to get some Big Rig composite toe since they offer the extra wide eeee now.
Just bought mine 2 days ago. They are tough to get on so far but are very comfortable. I like the sole having grip. Seems to be well made.
Hey I want those exact kind not to be rude how much where they
I have mine just got them love them!!
Just picked myself up a pair and so far loving them supper comfortable, good quality. Half I got them
Hey man I just ordered a pair can I have you opinion on them after all this time?

You should make a review about the Ariat relentless, they seem very good.
I have a pair sitting next to me. I have a few other boots to do first. But they are a true step above the competition.
TheBootGuy Awesome! can't wait.

How's the inside holding up? I'm hesitant to buy these ventek fabric boots, just feels like it would start to tear from your heel after a while.
@@mitchellgardner2193 still going strong. The outer rubber soul is worn out but holding together well
@@deereman45ful Cool, thanks man!

Ariat just cant
I think I have about 50 +/- pairs of boots and shoes! LOL
I've had a pair of these since Christmas last year. Still wear them every day, and they still look pretty good so...
Do you have any experience with Twisted X work boots? I don't see any reviews anywhere, so I'm sceptical of buying them. Im in the market for a new pair of "Western" waterproof comp toe work boots. I usually buy Ariat, Justin, and Cody James
Love mine..need to wear em tho
Junk boots made in China,as of now double h is the best American boot made today for work boots
Hey boot guy! Love your videos. I was wondering if you could help me. I got really high arches and want another pair of pull ons. Do you have any suggestions?
Cowboy boots from whites or Wesco.
I like those pants what brand are them
Type of pants?
Hi. Great Video. Have to go Buy me a pair.
Longest lasting boot I've owned. 2 years 5-6 days a week in oil, grease , water, dirt and concrete.
Are these shoes made in Vietnam
I get the old one
are they waterproof
The stability shank would it work on support in stirrups I ride a lot and find my soles start to hurt.
It will help but not as well as a thick leather sole
How much do they cost?

No reviews on this boot since 2018
cant wait to get these for my bday
Water resistant?
Q. What's difference between a "western pull on" as stated and a Wellington boot?
Usually the toe and heel. Wellingtons have shorter heels and rounder toes. "Western Pull On" is like a working cowboy boot.
Thanks, John.
Are they waterproof? I know they say they aren’t.. but they have a gasket around them. So testing them wise are they waterproof?
No water as of yet but I have yet to really stand in anything deeper than a few puddles.
I have had many ariats and most of them with hold the water. My black pair of cowboy boots are extremely waterproof I stand in the creek to go crawfishing. So I wouldn’t doubt it if they are.
My left foot is operated stiff after a work accident is this boot wide enough to get that foot in?
Most likely not. But don't let me discourage you from trying to pair on. I once worked on a site with a guy who had a similar operation. He would have a shoemaker install a zipper into the side of his pull on boots to help him get it on and off.
Too bad it's made in China :/
What isn't tho
Made in Vietnam actually!

China is good now and days... then again everything is made in china
Yahoo boots

Can you use those boots just for dressing up or just work
Both, I have a pair for work& a pair for dressing up and they look nice either way

I have no problem with them on my power room floor during an 11 to 15 hour shift.
Happy 4th of July btw haha
One of the most uncomfortable boots I’ve ever worn
Are they good for tow truck drivers??
Depends, I wouldn't do any repo work in them.
@@TheBootGuyreviews nah I work for AAA so I tow flat tires or accidents stuff like that
They will be fine.
Is this boot waterproof?
no there not
Look a bit homemade tbh
