    I've got that same pair of boots. I was a die hard Chippewa guy for years but out of curiosity tried on a pair of ariat workhogs and man they felt great. I've had mine for about 7 months now and they still look and feel good. I'm on my feet 14+ hours a day and never feel it. Great boots.

    I have this boot with a square toe. They are the most comfortable work boot I have worn. For me they last a good while. I wear them all the time man.

    just bought my first pair. never heard of Ariat. I tried on several boots. was very impressed with the Ariat first time fit. according to the sales person it is a well built and long lasting boot. I thought it was a little pricy. but if it last as good as it feels then they have a new lifetime customer. very comfortable nice fitting. thank you for the review.

      Tim,
      I'm interested in these boots but here in Canada they were $300 (and that's on sale!) I'm wondering after 3 years if you could tell me how long they lasted for you, were they good, did the outter sole wesr quick? Any pros and cons would be much appreciated. Thanks.

    I had my Ariat workhog square toe's for 4 years now. I wear them on the weekend as well as to work, And around the yard. At home I've had them submerged in mud sprayed them off with the hose let them dry conditioned them
    And they still look good enough to go hangout with friends. The only signs of ware are on the heel of the soles. I want a new pair but can't justify getting a new pair when these are still in such great condition. One of my coworkers was so impressed by them he purchased a pair. I am by no means easy on them. I work in industrial
    Maintenance. My supervisor was even impressed with them. You keep the videos coming. And I'll keep watching.
    Thanks

    Just purchased my second pair of Ariat Workhog (ARIAT Workhog XT Waterproof Carbon Toe Work Boot square toe). My previous pair was the Workhog Mesteno (slight;y different sole construction). The boots were comfortable and easy on and off. I'm in irrigation work and they're great for jumping holes full of water and mud and staying dry. They're comfortable but not the greatest on uneven ground where ankle support is necessary. The last pair I got about 14 months out of them. The arch on my shoveling foot eventually cracked. I just purchased another pair and the sole looks like they've done some different design a little bit (much like what is described in this video, so they should work better for my shovel work). But for landscapers who primarily do irrigation work, they're great. Just plant on a new pair about 12 to 18 months. Just the nature of abuse on a non resole workboot. They are comfortable and that's why I came back. Plus I am a southwest native and western boot look fits right in here...

    “if you’re not oiling your boot you’re abusing them”
    Well Fred, when you work in the mud and dirt it’s kind of hard to keep them all shiny and oiled 🙄 we can’t all work indoors

    • @thesanfranciscoseahorse473
      @thesanfranciscoseahorse473 Před 3 lety +1

      Don't have to keep them shiny and oiled. But, I think it makes them last a lot longer if you tend to them once in a while. Maybe oil them a few times a year? Get months more use out of them.

      Hey you dont know how demanding the locksmith world is /sarcasm. I am with you man...my boots are typically covered in mud, dirt, concrete etc. I am too tired to come home and clean the boots off and oil them. Work boots should be built to be abused.

    I have these boots in square toe, I love em. I've noticed better posture as you mentioned , I pour concrete so I'm rough on them too. The best part about them is my feet don't hurt after a hard 16 hour day. I've been a Justin man my whole life and my feet always hurt, I wish I would have bought ariats a lot sooner.

  • @healthdios
    @healthdios Před 5 lety +2

    Nothing wrong with wearing them all, these are stout looking and could probably take in anything but, our feet should experience everything else. I own a pair like these, another pair with the square toe, a lace up one , and another pair of heavy duty hicking boots. They all get their turn at work with me , sparingly.....

      My last 2 pair of Ariat boots cracked where u bend. I usually get about 14 months out of work boots. I've tried several styles/brands and they all have down falls and fail in different ways. For $200 Ariat has been the most comfortable in my opinion, my only complaint with Ariat is that they are not made in the USA.
