    I build Highways ; and I usually wear out a pair of your average Tractor Supply Store ARIAT boots about every 6 months . ... these boots just might be what My feet have been dying to have on those 14 hour days ; trudging along , constructing a road like a Roman , going insane from the fire whose flames can’t be seen , but which are devouring My feet and peace of Mind every day ... thank You for this video : It gives Me hope.

    As a deckhand on towboats for the past 11 years these boots might last me eight months to a year I’ve bought expensive boots and really good ones they don’t last that long because we walk about 16 miles a day and do rough work with them. Most your cheaper boots don’t last three months they get ripped to shreds

    I bought a pair of these last weekend, I absolutely love these boots!!!!!
    I have noticed it seems like my feet stay a lot cooler and I can’t begin to tell you how comfortable they are, hardly no break in process. I have wore J maxx Justin’s for the last 7 or 8 years, as long as my ariats hold up these will be my new go to boots!!!!!

    These will usually last me a solid year. Best and most comfortable boot I’ve ever owned. The insert and tread of the boot are worn pretty well after a year but the leather is always still in immaculate condition, makes it a shame to get rid of them. I do not buy other brands as I get 3 to 6 months out of them.

    I alternate boots at work with each shift but I have a pair of these in the orange leather upper that's over 3 years old. Now I condition the leather regularly, clean them when dirty, and buy new insoles, it was every 6 months when I was rotating two pairs but now I'm rotating 3 pairs and just bought insole for the first time since May of 21. No issues. Ariat is all I wear. The only problem I've has is with the Venteks with the brown skull. If you notice the Intrepids have a liner down the inside, the brown skulls is just the Ventek mesh lining the boot. Well the Ventek, in various places on the skulls, have started wearing holes through like at the mouth and chin of the skulls. I guess the shaft flexes and these places rubbed, chewing holes in the material. I just purchased the Green skulls last year and noticed they went back to a cloth liner. I guess Ariat discovered this was an issue and corrected it. If i didn't rotate so many boots they wouldn;t have lasted two years. i'd avoid the tan skulls if you see them. I contacted Ariat to see of they knew of anyone that could sew some cloth around the skull to reinforce it but they didn't. They only could recommend there NU-Shoe resole program which isn't the issue and couldn't fix this. Since they were two years old they just offered me a 25% code and sent me on my way. I hate it because they are still in great condition otherwise.

    Bought the green ones after I got laid off from running heavy equipment and driving heavy haul semi for oil amd gas so now they r just farm boots but wear them every day, i remember how hot my old boots got and an old pair that back fell apart and had to be hog clipped back on to make it through the day. Def love these boots and I've cleaned , waxed and polished them up 2 times so far so they clean up very nicely.

      @SCRAMBY18 Před 4 lety

      @@hlozano6231 there's a ton! Some of the bigger names like Tony Lama, Dan Post and Lucchese have certain models made in the USA. Then there's companies that are strictly made in the US like Black Jack, Fenoglio, and my favorite Rios of Mercedes just to name a few.
      There's also good boots that come out of Mexico, and very cheap ones as well so you just got to do your research.

    Great vid and very informative. I just bought these ventTEKs a few weeks ago and so far so good. I also (long night of Amazon) bought a pair of Ariat Rancheros (I know TOTALLY different boot and I will not use them for the same purpose). All on the advice of a long time friend that drives a Bud truck (lotta walking and moving). I am a LONG time Redwing guy for construction boots, but I thought I would try something new. Any advice on break-in,conditioning, care or waterproofing would be great. Thanks. Was a little disappointed they are not US made, but my last Redwings weren't, either.

  • @leoramirez7583

    Barley got them size 14 ee. First pull on boots I never use Boots of any kind. But as soon as I found out a way to slide them on I felt that they were very comfortable. I also have a broken Big toe, unfortunately my big toe doesn't bend so I always struggle to find boots hence I never wear them. But I tell you these fit good it also didn't affect my toe as much as I thought so I decided to wear them for the rest of the night and went for a 1 Mile fast walk in them after 6 hrs of use. My foot did move a bit in the boot unlike a walk shoe but that might of been the thin socks I was wearing. I might have to upgrade to a thicker sock with less plastic and more cotton. This is my review. Not that heavy and comfortable. I'm 6'2 at 350lbs so I will see how long they last.
